Way outkicked my coverage. She's the center of my world.

"It sounded like a train coming...", I said, while spitting smokeless tobacco out the large gap around my only tooth. That's my wife KD...run to the danger...usually. She's a CA kid though and hurricanes scare her for some reason.

Bills Sign DT Kyle Peko to the Practice Squad

How about a front flip over the opponent's offensive line? Not being critical, but we have enough guys getting blown off the line ? -
Local news headline in Raleigh: What to do if a hurricane is coming? My Wife: Get the !@#$ out of the way. Love that woman.....

Zay Jones has to tell KB where to line up?
JoeF replied to YoloinOhio's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
She's got one son on PED suspension who's now accused of robbery and another son who, unfortunately, almost killed himself this offseason. However, I think she is the craziest in her family. Zay probably mentioned something in passing and she tweets it....lesson here is Zay don't talk about work with mama. -

9-12: Sean McDermott & Shady-Allen Pressers Live
JoeF replied to 26CornerBlitz's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
The Bills brass is now in this for the long haul. Josh stays in the game as long as he is healthy. No waivering. And by the way, sign a !@#$ing competent vet backup like Derek Anderson or Matt More. Josh needs this. Hell, sign Jordan Palmer for a $2 million and make him QB3....- 240 replies

How long are Beane's and McDermott's contracts for
JoeF replied to Foreigner's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
See, already a 17 point improvement! Trending in the right direction. Coach is so big on continuous improvement and learning. He talks about it every time he speaks publicly. I wonder if some smart media member will ask him: "You stress improvement and learning lessons, what did you learn from last Sunday's game and how will you improve?" I bet he would give a fairly candid answer. The media needs to stop giving him questions that are of the ilk of "Why did Peterman suck so bad?" This coach is never going to throw one of his guys under the bus. He is always going to be vague and/or take the bullet for them. The reporters need to frame the questions within the culture Coach McD holds so dearly. As to how long Beane and McDermott have? That really depends. Terry and Kim are committed to them but realistically leadership only gets a to have a very limited number of games like Sunday's before that confidence and commitment erodes. They will both be here next September, but if there are a couple more performances like this past week, it won't be with a lot of security. The team needs to consistently play better and play like they care. It may not translate to wins, but it has to show promise. Sunday showed incompetence not promise. -
I say: Terry, are you !@#$ing nuts? You hired a life-long fanboy with a keyboard as GM? You and Kim want to move the team to Eastern Slobovia or something right?

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=GoPYuT7rlHIA The Bills go forward from here, not backward. The Bills are on a path for the first time in a long time where ownership, personnel, and coaching are aligned. In the NFL, that usually yields good things.

How many of you were optimistic going into the preseason?
JoeF replied to njbuff's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
I am optimistic because I live on the theory that most games are decided in the 4th quarter. Talent gives way a little bit to perseverance and effort in the 4th quarter. The Bills showed a greater ability to win close games last year than the last decade or so. I think that carries over a bit this year. I am pessimistic because the Bills are less talented and less experienced than other teams in key match-up areas like: 1) Bills OL vs. Opponents Front 7 2) Bills WR vs. Opponents Secondary 3) Inexperienced Bills QB versus Defensive Coordinators ability to disguise schemes 4) Bills RCB and SLB vs, Opponents Passing Attack 5) Bills MLB vs. Opponent interior Running Game (For now anyway) Can the coaches scheme around these weaknesses most weeks? I don't know... I had low expectations for 2017 and 2018 based on the cap mess. The Bills were paying too much money to players that weren't performing up to the level of that pay. 2017 was a gift. 2018 may be the year the Bills pay for the past. I will be cheering no matter what -- and God-willing I will be there in September of 2019 with hopefully unbridled optimism for the future. By the way, using NFL.com power rankings: the Jags were #31 and the Jets #32 last year on September 5, 2017. The Jags went to the AFC Championship Game. In week 1 2016 it was 49ers #31, Browns #32 In week 1 2015 It was Browns #31 and Titans #32 All to say, the bottom feeder rankings are usually more right than wrong...but they are what they are...week 1 rankings and teams like last year's Jags can emerge...
