  1. Mississippi Governor pranked....
  2. 1) Own it 2) If its a bigger issue like an addiction ask for help- the Bills and the NFL both have resources to help 3) Realize its part of Ed Oliver's "brand" now...troublemaker, dumb mistake, criminal 4) Learn from it 5) Strive to be your best self every day No BS, No I didn't do it, no blame other's game. This is totally on Ed. I believe his actions from here will show this is a one time thing. I have faith in this kid.
  3. https://www.nytimes.com/2020/03/06/sports/quinnen-williams-arrested.html Just over 2 months ago. Ed literally said "Hold my beer..."
  4. In a normal year, he would be in Buffalo for OTAs and workouts. He will pay a price for this and hopefully use it as a lesson. Just dumb....at least he didn't harm anyone else or himself.
  5. A hand written thank you note is always nice
  6. The QB for the Bills I saw in the Dallas game last year reads defenses at a high level; is accurate; is a red zone threat with both his legs and his arm and is pretty damn evolved. I hope that QB shows up more and more.
  7. I have some empathy for Jets fans. We were looking for hope not so long ago as well and grasping at any activity as our ticket to the post season....glad we are past that phase for the time being. I thought Joe Douglas did a serviceable job in the draft this year. In addition to the core of Darnold, Bell -- they stole the strategy from Beane of signing some mid tier OL in bulk to upgrade and added Becton in the Draft. I think Mims was a good pick as well...however I don't necessarily think they made substantial improvements. I think the Bills are pretty significantly improved even accounting for the losses of Lawson, Phillips and Alexander on D.... For the Jets, I think Gase is their "Rex Ryan" coach....a name with experience but just not a good fit for the team and actually a deterrent to progress. I thought Gase was going to be a good head coach when Miami got him -- I was really wrong.
  8. https://twitter.com/TomBrady/status/1258464033860194312?s=20 Peyton with some Comedy Gold in a pre-match presser....Love it...
  9. Play in a little Jeopardy. The answer is Robert Foster, House Money and Trent Murphy. The question is “who does GM BB turn into picks at the end of training camp this year?
  10. Good article by Joe Marino.....Beane uses excess talent at positions to create comp-pick like compensation at the end of training camp. Getting picks for Teller and Bodine at the end of TC last year was like comp picks. He turns excess depth into picks--I think its a better strategy than losing core players for a third rounder.
  11. I was a grad student at Biscayne College/St. Thomas University. My graduate assistant job was supervised by a priest who said daily mass in the chapel. I rolled out of bed twice a week or so to make daily mass. Don and Dorothy were always there. He loved Fr. Gerry (the priest) and so I got to ride coattails in post-mass conversations. He gave me some great jabs during the losing streak but a man of faith, grace, class and generosity.
  12. RIP Coach Shula. Loved the fact that he migrated from Crash, Bash and Dash with Csonka, Kiick and Morris to Air Marino.. Favorite Shula quote was from Bum Phillips: He can take his'n and beat your'n and he can take your'n and beat his'n
  13. He is currently an unrestricted free agent, giving him time to work on his boating and drag racing hobbies while practicing proper social distancing. Being serious for a moment, he did a lot of good in Haiti with his money...he had a lot of tragedy in his life (ESPN would have filled up two draft slides for him) and a lot of mental anguish...wish him the best. https://www.jacksonville.com/sports/20180627/marcell-dareus-donates-125000-to-help-build-classrooms-in-haiti
  14. He’s got the last 20 years to back up his opinion. But he no longer has Tom Brady.I have a feeling that Coach McDermott and the Bills will want to do their talking on the field. That’s just fine with me.
  15. Loved the way he synced his pancake blocks with the table jumps. I give it 5 stars. A must 57 second watch. Way to go kid. Now show enough to get IR'd for the year...
  16. or ***** kill others...preferably
  17. 1) He looks exactly his dad at the same age 2) I was trying to make a ***** joke
  18. I know they are father and son, but damn the apple did not fall far from the tree. My temptation to boo and shout F bombs rose a lot when I saw this still shot in the video. If there is a training camp, I may go a day just to "boo" him. "Hey kid, this is for your dad, 25 years later..."
  19. My pure speculation....Belichick is going to bottom out the team this year and retire. The Pats will do everything they need to do to get Trevor Lawrence. Josh McDaniels will be the HC. Belichick cares about McDaniels too much to start him off with a crap team with no QB -- that's why he is coaching this year. McDaniels has been exceedingly loyal and Belichick feels the need to repay that loyalty. Loyalty is a honor code with Belichick... With my amazing track record of speculation -- this means tomorrow NE trades for Dalton or signs Newton...
  20. I loved the Zay pick.....We will get a reminder of how wrong we were in the 5th round of the 2021 draft...
  21. But not as much as the end of "Old Yeller"....
  22. Thanks TD. I watched it today. Brandon, Joe and Dan really are a seamless team. The only ego seems to be a collective one to make the Bills better. Joe and Dan are going to be NFL GMs one day. Amazing group that Brandon has assembled. I was also happy to hear that Brandon is the conservative/measured/patient one...we have our gamblers!
  23. That made the physical resemblance even more compelling..... ?
  24. The year and half dealing with injuries had to be tough. An ACL and then back surgery. He showed good perseverance coming back from each injury and immediately moved back into the starting line-up the last third of 2018 and all of 2019. I think all his flaws are fixable..he just needs reps and a little Bobby Johnson whoop ass....I think he becomes a pet project. The answer to the combine question was a maturity thing-- its really funny, however, sometimes you give the second answer that pops in your head not the first. That's my rule for answering questions from my wife....
