Josh really spoils us. The Bills lived through a long stretch of yuck to get to be the envy of the league at the QB1 role. There is a lot of bad QB play in the league this year.....really bad..

Tepper is not your typical owner. He is a Wall Street guy. I think he will want at least one proven asset in return for CMC. I think Dodson and Singletary both are players that Morgan would recommend they could build around. I think the Bills view Dodson as a tweener - not quick enough or instinctual enough to take Milano's role and not large enough or with enough lateral quickness to take Edmunds role. The Bills drafted Bernard to groom into Milano's role. A replacement for Edmunds is not on the roster. Just my view.

Keep in mind that Dan Morgan knows our players well...I think we will have to put in Singletary and Tyrel Dodson (both would have to agree to an extension) not Moss and toss in this coming year's 3rd or 4th. BTW, I would do this in a heartbeat.

DBs develop fast under McDermott, Frazier, Butler and Salgado (Safeties Coach)....the injuries suck, but man oh man, the Bills are going to have a plethora of options at CB by the time December and January roll around.

Game Balls: Tough to choose but to shutout the Ravens in the second half is pretty freaking amazing. Everyone on that side of the ball had their moments. Elam is worthy of a 1st round pick.

Wonder if Frazier has given any thought to going a 4-4-3 look a bit more this week....put Taron Johnson, Terrel Bernard closer to the line with Milano and Edmunds....put Elam, Poyer, and Safety 2/Corner 2 in deeper coverage. Just thinking about ways to contain Lamar and take away the short to middle distance throws.

Just want to mention that I think this Buffalo Bills team is pretty good at Football. The first 6 weeks schedule is brutal with @Dolphins; Ravens; Steelers; @Chiefs the next 4 after the @Rams and Titans. While the Bills are losing players to injury; the depth is really good. I am looking forward to seeing a player like Jaquan Johnson get his chance in front of a hometown crowd under extreme stress (Hill, Waddle, etc)..and to see the rookie corners develop. This depth might be just crazy by the end of the year. I am trying not to be too optimistic but this team is making it difficult.
