  1. Ya there are 2 extreme examples to the no huddle. 1. The rams with a brilliant coach, QB, and weapons who run it to perfection 2. The Eagles a few years ago with Chip Kelly who couldn't move the chains and made their defence stay on the field the whole game. I think the Bills would obviously fall under category number 2 as they don't nearly have the coaching and players the Rams do. I wouldn't mind them sprinkling it in, but definitely don't want to see it as there base offence.
  2. Great question. He has no business being in the NFL
  3. No. No QB has ever gotten ruined in my opinion. You are either good enough to play, or you aren't. Mental toughness is a huge part of any sport. And if you can't shake off bad play, you aren't cut out for professional sports IMO
  4. I see positives but one big negative to it. Positives: Basically all the points you made in your first post Negative: There is a chance the offence will break the record in terms of lowest time of possession ever
  5. 100 percent agreed
  6. Lol yep. And leave it to the Bills to hire 3 straight defensive coaches
  7. True but don't you think the coaching staff should have anticipated that? I did and I am a just a fan. Peterman looks descent when there is no pressure, no game planning, no blitzing. Put some heat on the guy and game plan for him and he is a complete joke. He has MASSIVE limitations. It stuns me that Mcd and Daboll could not recognize that, and picked him to start based on meaningless pre season games
  8. If they go 3-13 this year with the offence sucking, and 4-12/5-11 next year with the offence sucking again, Mcd's seat will be very warm. I agree with the other post that Mcd will not get a chance to bring in a 3rd OC. He better pray Daboll is the guy
  9. But he looked so good in preseason!?
  10. Titans will be ok as they had to deal with lots of adversity yesterday. Cardinals. Possibly Cleveland as well.
  11. If you want to say Peterman deserved the start, fair. Even though I would not have started him. It was obvious to me even before yesterday`s game that Peterman performs at a much higher level when there is no game planning as he has huge limitations. He is too easy to game plan against. Weak arm. Can't stretch the field. Panics and just chucks up the ball under pressure. Those things he does not possess^ would scream to blitz him and to take away the short throws. Which is precisely what LA did last year and what Baltimore did yesterday. The result? Arguably the worst 60 minutes combined for a NFL QB
  12. He did an amazing job of taking that sack on 3rd and 13. Tom Brady himself couldn't have done it much better
  13. I can go back and forth all day, but to keep it simple I will sum it up with this. Mccaron sucks. Peterman is historically bad. Did I miss anything?
  14. McCarron already has proved way more than Peterman even in such a small sample size . 2 and 1 in 3 starts with over a 90 rating with 6 TDS and 2 picks. I will not even dig out the Peterman stats as they are literally as bad as you get in the history in the NFL. While Mccaron is mediocre at best, the two aren’t comparable. McDermott completely butchered the situation by keeping Peterman over Mccaron. He’s now been burnt twice by his boy, Nate. I meant for QB. Teams don’t game plan against QBs in pre season
  15. Based on Peterman has the worst passer rating in NFL history maybe? Pre season means nothing as that was just confirmed yesterday .
  16. He said no to Baltimore on a multi year deal. What makes you think he would come to buffalo especially after their performance yesterday? I strongly believe he would rather retire than play for the mess the bills have on offence.
  17. To answer your question , they are fireable offences to have those outcomes in the NFL. But the Bills are not going to fire McD. At least not this year
  18. Yes sir. He’s the leader of the team and he had to take accountability for the blow out yesterday but he didn’t. For the most part I do like McD, but he handled the situation very poorly yesterday
  19. Really not sure why you turned it extreme with that example. Goes without saying but I’m pissed either way. But back to my original point before you took it to that level. It is frustrating to hear him say that because not once did I hear him take any accountability for yesterday’s loss. Not once. As the head coach/leader of the team, do you not agree he should have taken responsibility for that onslaught yesterday?
  20. I agree. I wish McD would have said “it starts with me “, or “I will get it right”. I get he’s just doing the typical answer by saying he will look at the tape, but it really is frustrating to hear that. I sure as hell he looks at the tape. Just got absolutely slaughtered in every aspect of the game.
  21. I believe to a certain degree it does matter what the fans think. I can’t see Pegula allowing McD to start Peterman next week in front of 70k people in their home opener.
  22. But that is just poor drafting. There is a reason the bills missed the playoffs for 18 years. You need to draft well to be successful. Can’t build a team through free agency/trades as you would be way over the cap/have minimal draft picks for long term success/depth
