  1. Ya there is no chance of this
  2. I would easily take these 14 QBS over him... Brees, Brady, Ben, Rodgers, Rivers, Wentz, Ryan, Wilson, Luck, Newton, Stafford, Garoloppo, Watson, Goff. I understand that a few of them are unproven, but if someone told me who I would take, Cousins or Jimmy G/Watson, I would take Jimmy G and Watson all day. So 32 NFL starting QBS and I would at least take 14 over him as of right now
  3. I don't think he's worth it, and I definitely don't think he is the 10th best QB
  4. I can’t see the colts doing that unless the price is ridiculous
  5. I guess time will tell on a lot of those points. If I were the redskins though, I would not pay him 25-27 per year over 6 years with lots of guaranteed money. I think they did what they had to do by franchising him multiple times to see if he can earn a long term contract, and in their eyes he wasn't good enough for it. If he was good enough for them, they would have been more than happy to pay him the big money. Teams just don't let great QBS hit free agency because of money disputes. And I got to agree with them. While I think Cousins is an above average QB, there is no way I would give him 25-27 per year.
  6. Thanks. Good thread. I was wondering about the cap situation next year, especially with the dead money from Woo and TT if they release him
  7. I don't want Bradford. I really don't see anything special with him, and he is always injured as well
  8. What makes you think they won’t spend a high draft pick on a QB? They definitely wouldn’t have spent a 1st rounder on one if they got Cousins, as they would have virtually given the franchise keys to him with a massive contract coming
  9. His starting days are over. And his playing days will be over soon as well, as I believe he’s turning 33 this year
  10. I’m not too sure about the comp pick. And ya, I personally think it’s s good move by the Redskins, to your point . I really don’t think there’s much of a difference between them and like you said, they got Smith wayyyy cheaper
  11. That to me is a red flag as well, if that’s what you’re implying. Washington wouldn’t just let cousins walk if they thought he’s the guy.
  12. What has made him a franchise QB so far in his career? I don't want to the Jets to have him to your point, but as of right now in his career he is not a franchise QB. Maybe in fantasy football, that's about it
  13. Truly impressive how he played against the Jags? In like 4 snaps he fumbled that luckily went out of bounds, had an intentional grounding, and threw and interception.... He made 1 throw for like 11 yards....
  14. Peterman in my opinion isn't even a guarantee to make the team next year. If they decide to draft a rookie this year, Peterman will have to hope the Bills keep 3 QBS. Because you can surely bet they will bring in a veteran to back up the rookie, and that would leave Peterman as the 3rd QB
  15. Trade up. I got a question about cousins though if the bills were to sign him. How tight would they be against the cap if they inked him to the expected 25 mil per year? (Or roughly that) Because I know with Wood retiring and releasing TT, that would result in what, roughly 12 mil in dead money?
  16. When I first read this, I thought you wrote “Aaron Hernandez announces his retirement “.. I was thinking where the hell have I been the last 5 years
  17. Question for anyone who knows the Bills salary cap situation well... How tight would the cap number be if they were to lock up cousins to a long term contract? Just thinking they have a lot of dead money next year with Wood retiring, and would of course release Tyrod resulting in more dead money
  18. All fair points. I’m just saying as of right now in 2018, Smith Is much better than TT my opinion. I personally think Tyrod has hit his ceiling as well and won’t progress like Smith did, but I guess time will tell
  19. I agree. Although I wouldn't say he is mediocre, I would say above average. But definitely don't want him for the huge money
  20. If you want to say Cousins is better, fair enough, but I think they are very close. But as I said earlier, I don't understand the comparison between him and TT. I think Smith is light years ahead of Tyrod
  21. I personally don't think there's too much of a difference between them. For the differences in their contracts, I would take Smith over Cousins. I have Cousins around 13th best QB and Smith around 14-15. The one thing Cousins has going for him Is he is much younger though
  22. Hahaha, let's hope not lol
  23. ?... Tyrod is not even close to Alex smith. I'm not sure why people think they are the very similar QBS. Bills are getting nothing for Tyrod
