  1. You know things are bad in Buffalo when a guy gets praised for having a 32 passer rating and sets the record (I believe) for having 31 completions and still throwing for under 200 yards
  2. I believe he set a record going back to the 70s for lowest yards for that many completions. This guy seems to break a negative record every time he gets a chance to play
  3. Let’s get reasonable with our expectations here...;)
  4. I think the obvious one is to see Allen play well. Besides that, maybe see Zay Jones take another step? Any improvement from younger players on the offensive side of the ball would be a plus, with Allen being number 1 of course.
  5. Lol ya fair enough. I see 2 possible legit chances and they might sneak 1 of these out: At home against the Jets At home against Miami (If Tanny is still out) Although I think as I am being optimistic here as I forgot that for the Bills to win, they will actually need to score a touchdown
  6. The low end of course is 2-14, and I think the high end is 4-12. 3-13 probably sounds about right at this point
  7. Before the season I predicted 5-11. I can't see the Bills getting to 5 wins this year at this point
  8. Eagles got 40 plus points to win that game an barely won lol. You need to have an explosive offence to win in modern day Football
  9. Good point. It kind of reminds me of what Mcvay did. Except the opposite side of course. He is an offensive wizard everyone knows that by now. So he takes care of the offence, he hires Wade Phillips to take care of the defensive side, and uses tons of investments to get Talib, Peters, Suh, Nickell Robey, Fowler etc.
  10. I made this point a few days ago. Mcd is coaching in the wrong era. He would have probably been a good coach 10-15 years ago. Cause he can coach defence very well. But I think he is too old school in his way of thinking, and there is no secret he has a very hard time identifying good offensive talent
  11. Crap we need Dallas to win cause Tennessee might be a threat to the Bills for the last wild card spot!
  12. Haha ya sorry I just accidentally quoted the whole thing lol. And true. But I will argue that 2015 and 2018 is a massive difference in terms of the rules for the offence. Even though it is only 3 years, things have changed so much. And thanks Alpha, you as well! Always respect your posts and comments
  13. I’m not saying defence isn’t part of success. It is. But it’s just not as important as having a modern day 2018 offence and it’s not as important as it was 15 years ago. You can win a super bowl by having an average defence or even mediocre. You just can’t win by having an average offence any more
  14. If you look at the top teams in the league in 2018, they all have offensive coaches. Saints- Payton Rams- McVay Eagles- Pederson Chiefs- Andy Reid Patriots- I really cant say Belichick as a defensive head coach is the difference. He’s a brilliant coach of course and brings so many intangibles, but the reason the Pats are good this year is Brady. Their defence is actually one of the worst In football. I am not saying you can’t win with a defensive head coach. But In an offensive league where you will have to score 30 plus points to win a lot of games, I would prefer the Bills taking their chances by getting an offensive guy to take the reigns.
  15. So why is Lafleur a hot condidate to become a HC next year? Nothing impressive/creative at all IMO
  16. Ya didn’t he get offered like a 3 year 18 mil contract or something ?
  17. Lame matchup tonight. Let’s hope it’s a good game
  18. All true Alpha. But in regards to your example with Trubisky, Chicago fired John Fox and brought in an offensive head coach that brought talent with him. I think that’s precisely what a lot of fans here want. (Even me to a certain degree) To try and replicate the path the Bears went.
  19. Thank god! Now we finally we have a modern day offence that scores lots of points!
  20. He actually said that? What in God’s name. I guess I’m not surprised he said that as he values culture over talent
  21. All part of the plan. The process was to get blown out every 2nd game this year and set offensive lows since the 1940S. All part of 4D chess we are playing. #trusttheprocess
  22. I understand. But let’s be honest, 3 or 4 of those wins they had no business winning. The ball just bounced their way last year. Finally. I don’t think 2017 should be really considered when making a decision for Beanes or Mcds future.
  23. Serious question and not trolling. If Dalton doesn’t complete that throw to Boyd, do you change your views on Mcd and Beane? Because IMO the Bills playoffs was a complete fluke last year because of so many factors, and them making the playoffs in 2017 is irrelevant to the potential success for the future . In my opinion.
