  1. A prime example as well is the Miami Dolphins. They went what, 10-6 in 2016? They shouldn't have been 10-6 and got lots of breaks that season. Then look at them this year. Granted they had lots of adversity with the hurricane and losing Tannehill, but they fell right back down to earth
  2. He is correct. Technically last year was the year the Bills were supposed to get 4-5 wins. And this year would be the year they would try to improve on that and maybe get to 8 wins. They way over achieved last year, and let's be honest, got a lot of breaks along the way. I like the direction they are going, but I think they are a few years away from being a legit contender
  3. Robert Royal- Was good for a good play, bad play, and a penalty a game
  4. I’m not too sure if you are agreeing or disagreeing with me to be honest. They have different styles but I mean in terms of overall production so far in their career, there isn’t much of a difference. TT does a few things better, but Bridgewater does a few things better as well.
  5. Fitz isn’t scared to Throw the ball lol. Does that make him an upgrade?
  6. Offsides are incidental penalties though. No one purposely goes offside. Players would intentionally hall people down if they were beat
  7. If it’s 3rd and long and a defender is even somewhat beat, he would just pull the receiver down because it would still be 3rd down after the foul. He wouldn’t risk giving up the yards for the first down They would just pull the receivers down on 3rd and long if they were even somewhat beat. It would just result in more flags and less big plays
  8. I hear your points. The way I look at it is the officials already have so much on their plate and are pretty incompetent for the most part. If they add discretion/judgement to the rule, it just puts more on their plate and even more of a chance they mess it up lol. Thats personally the way I see it
  9. They challenge PI calls in the CFL and in my opinion it’s pretty annoying and kills the flow of the game even more. I would just let the players play more and don’t call it unless it’s blatant
  10. I can see both sides. 1. A long pass interference call can seriously impact the game. And a lot of the time those calls are very ticky tack. 2. On the other side, players will just tackle the player if they are beat on a deep throw. They would be more than happy to concede the 15 yards. It’s a lose lose either way in my opinion. Overall I would slightly prefer them to keep the rule as is, but let the players play more and don’t call it PI unless it really impacts the play.
  11. You are definitely right in saying stats don't tell the whole story, but at the end of the day stats do equal production for the most part, so you must factor that in when evaluating a player. He makes more plays than TT but he also makes more mistakes than him. Now I am of course not an expert in knowing Daboll's offence (I know it a bit), and I am not an expert in knowing if Bridgewater would be an amazing fit for it. So I will defer that point to you if you believe Bridgewater would be a solid fit there. I was basing my opinion on three things. Watching Bridgewater play, his lack of production, and him not playing for 3 years. Those three things in my opinion, leads me to believe that he won't be an upgrade over TT. Maybe I am wrong and he lights in up and is a good fit with Daboll. Hard to say now and no one really knows of course. We'll probably have to agree to disagree on this one
  12. How does that not make sense? I literally listed like 5 different stats, are we just supposed to ignore that? Of course every team has different circumstances, but stats are obviously going to be factored in when measuring different players on different teams. I have watched Bridgewater play and I don't see anything special out of him. And the mediocre stats back it up. Like I said he has a higher ceiling. But his first two years as a starter were not impressive. Like I also said, he hasn't played in almost 3 years. I don't want a QB who was average at best 3 years ago as the bridge QB. I don't see that as an upgrade over TT in my opinion.
  13. Are there reports to how much money Bridgewater is going to get? I am actually pretty curious
  14. I wasn't comparing their style of play. I was basically saying he is not really an upgrade as of right now Ya I would agree with that. He is more of an accurate passer
  15. You want Bridgewater and hate Tyrod? You know Bridgewater is pretty much like Tyrod, right? In an average season he has slightly more passing yards, less TD passes, less rushing yards, and turns the ball over more than TT. He does have a better record than TT at 17-11, but that can be contributed to a very solid defence with good coaching. I am not trolling you for the record, just brought those stats to your attention in case you were unaware. I understand his upside his higher. But as of right now he is not an upgrade over TT, especially since he hasn't played in almost 3 years.
  16. That will change soon, especially when Nate Peterman will be here leading this team for a few decades
  17. Exactly what I was thinking. Keenum was playing at a high level and he still fully couldn’t commit to him
  18. Bradford is so overrated in my opinion. Here is basically the sum up of Bradford’s career: A team will invest a lot to get him. Plays well for a few games. Plays mediocre for a few games. Gets injured. Rinse and repeat
  19. No chance that Beane goes into the season with a rookie and Peterman as the only two QBs
  20. I think you are pretty spot on in my opinion. There are only a few QBS that will give you a chance to win the super bowl every single year. (Brady, Rodgers for sure, maybe Brees and Ben?) I would for sure say Rivers is a franchise QB as the team/coaching around him over the last 8 years with the exception of last year has been pretty bad. If he got drafted by the Steelers in that 2004 draft I think he would easily have at least 1 ring
  21. That is Tara Reid on the right?? Wow she is looking rough
  22. Get two birds stoned at once
  23. It really isn’t good. Few good picks of course But Brady and B.B cover up a lot of bad picks
