  1. To me I do think he has lost a half a step. Hasn’t lost it all yet. But he does look a tad slower IMO
  2. Ya Mayfield definitely has a way better supporting cast. Landry, Chubb, Njuko, Calloway. They got some descent players for sure I see what you’re saying. But A rod is what, 35 now and is declining. I know he has like 20 TDS to 1 INT, but he’s got a lot of mileage and his mobility has dropped tremendously which has resulted in a ton of throw a ways. If this is A rod at 32 and in his prime, then ya it’s a slam dunk and shouldn’t even be a question.
  3. It’s an interesting question. If Allen turns out to be Big Ben, there’s no way I trade 15 years of that for a few years of A rod. And cheaper salary for at least the next 4 years. Now of course the big question is can Allen be Big Ben/Newton good.
  4. Lol what was his screen name again? I still think he never made that bet though and it was a LAMP post
  5. 100 percent it’s too early. Just having some fun and curious to hear some opinions
  6. I hope not. Besides Hausch money, their special teams has been a joke this year. And Crossman has absolutely nothing to do with hauschka being good.
  7. 25 bucks that includes a dinner and drink? That is a very good price
  8. Ya I remember Cam's first game, he threw for like 400 yards or something? Crazy I see what you're saying, but hard to judge Allen's stats yesterday. Completed 2 3rd and longs that got called back on penalties, and should at least had 2 or 3 more completions as he threw perfect strikes and they resulted in drops.
  9. You would still take Rosen over Allen and Darnold now? Correct me if I’m wrong but wasn’t Rosen supposed to be the most pro ready QB coming out of this draft? He’s struggling big time to start his career but I understand it’s still very early
  10. I like your list, I would switch Jackson and Darnold though. I would still draft Darnold over Jackson in a heart beat
  11. Don’t have to join in if it bothers you. It’s just for fun. Have a good day sir
  12. I know. I’m just saying I think it’s very clear cut that most people would take Allen and Darnold over Rosen and Jackson at this point. The close question IMO is Allen vs. Darnold right now. Just like I didn’t add Baker. I assume 99 percent of people would say him over Allen and Darnold right now
  13. Ya for sure. I think Mayfield is pretty much the consensus number 1
  14. If there was a re draft at this point in the season, who would you take if you were in the Jets position, Allen or Darnold? I know I’m biased but I would honestly say Allen. Darnolds concerns going into the draft were turnovers, and he’s showing nothing to ease that concern. Allen was obviously very raw coming from a small school so it was a high risk pick. Allen Is showing he can play in this league at a fairly high level and this is with probably the worst weapons in the league. (I know it’s way too early to judge these QBs right now, this is just a hypothetical question)
  15. Jerry Hughes as well I would say
  16. Sorry little off topic for the thread as I know it’s supposed to be a caption, but does anyone know if Allen was mocking Ramsey there? I think that is Ramsey’s go to celebration but not 100 percent sure
  17. Exactly. They need to address WR and OL the first few rounds. A speedy/shifty running back in the 3rd/4th I would be on board with
  18. Nope I don't think Hackett is a good coach. I posted above my opinion on Hackett/the dysfunction. That would kind of tie into what I would say to your post. But no, nothing special at all.
  19. Oh I agree. I don't think Hackett is a good coach. I just think there are way bigger problems on that team and he was a scapegoat. For one: On offence they were down 2 lineman mostly the whole year, their top 2 tight ends, they got rid of their top 2 receivers in the off season, Fournette missing tons of time this year, and they have a QB who can barely complete a 3 yard pass. On that last series against Pitts, I also wonder how much of a factor Marrone played in that conservative play calling.
  20. He did for the most part, but he went to the "well" too many times. Like that 3rd and 1 in the 3rd quarter. The Bills basically blitzed 11 guys up the middle haha as everyone in the stadium knew they were giving it to Fournette up the middle. In saying that, he shouldn't have been fired. Marrone did it to take pressure off himself and buy some more time.
  21. Ya how the hell was that not an unsportsmanlike penalty lol. He literally took his helmet off and said "You're trash" multiple times to the Bills sideline
  22. I would say I am encouraged. Excited in a sense, but still cautiously optimistic
