  1. Why would you want to take out the best thing that taylor does though? Read option is by no means a gimmick offence. Russell Wilson has won a superbowl because his o coordinator designed an offence best suited for him (Which was a lot of read option and roll outs). Dak Prescott does a lot of read offence and they have one of the best offences in the NFL. Cam Newton almost won a superbowl with a lot of read option. I am not saying he has to have a college type offence like the last couple years, but at least add run plays like the read option that have worked well in the past. Why would you want to get rid of something your QB/RB's/O Line does best?
  2. Very good points. Dennison is a joke. We all know he really doesn't have much to work with, but it is pretty much a fact based on stats that he turned this run game/entire offence into trash with his predictable and vanilla schemes
  3. Your original point was that if McDermott kept lynn, the run game would have been the same. I am not talking about the future and seeing if Tyrod is the franchise guy, that is a completely different topic. I am talking about Rico coming in and ruining the run game with his stupid stretch and sweep plays. It is a fact that the bills went from 1st last year and I think 2nd the year before, to mediocre SINCE rico got hired. You can't even dispute that
  4. I think he needs to realized he really isn't that great. Is he a good receiver? Ya probably. But this guy thinks he is julio jones and needs 10-12 targets every game
  5. Ya he has not got much help from his offence. Lots of penalties and not much separation from his receivers. Looks like a rookie, some good plays and some bad plays
  6. They aren't going to but it actually would make sense. The defence is the reason they are 3-2 and the offence is pathetic
  7. Ya I guess so. But do you think he has a lot of tools? I mean he got drafted 1st off the board so scouts think he does. But to me just looks like he has a below average arm, bad pocket awareness and below average speed. The only thing I think he generally does well is accuracy
  8. Not too sure to be honest. I know Rico had a very similar run scheme (possibly the exactly the same) In Houston and Denver, so I am pretty sure it is dennisons baby. Could be wrong but that is my educated guess
  9. I know Bradford was injured tonight but never thought he was good. I personally think he is a very overrated QB
  10. Ya I personally think Dennison is a joke. Not to say he has a lot to work with but it is inexcusable to run the number 1 run game last year into mediocre. But to your point, the Bills can never have a good offence and defence at the same time. Only one lol
  11. C'mon man. Look what Rico did what the run game. Has absolutely nothing to do with the WRS. He took the number 1 rush offence to trash. How do you explain that with the same running back and virtually same o line minus cordy glenn missing a few games?
  12. Great post. I 100 percent agree with you. The most sickening thing is that he turned the number 1 offence last year to mediocre. Just inexcusable on so many levels
  13. Lol AJ Green does not need separation. All he needs is a jump ball because he is so fast and explosive. I am not too sure you want to give Andre Holmes 10-12 targets per game... Green is just an animal of a receiver
  14. I don't think he was wide open, but I think he has to step up and take a shot at that. Especially under the circumstances late in the game trailing
  15. This is why i hate rick dennison so much. This guy comes into the number one rushing attack and has pretty much destroyed it. I am not saying he has to do the zone read the majority of the time like last year as his offence is completely different, but why the hell wouldn't he at least take more zone reads/ successful run schemes from last year and use it more frequently? Just ridiculous. I read a great article on how vance joseph is a 4-3 defensive coach but when he came to Denver he kept the defence a 3-4 because they were so successful with it. That is good coaching and putting your ego aside
  16. Pretty bold. Tampa, Oakland, N.O and even at SD are not easy games
  17. Fans get way too high after a win and way to low after a loss. Let's be honest though, the bills have got some pretty fortunate breaks to get to 3-2. I think this team is on the right track for the future and they are for sure better then we thought, but I don't think they are a playoff team yet with this talent. I agree with everything you said, except I don't think they are a legit wildcard contender. Fans are expecting too much after that 3-1 start I think. Exactly like you said, most people had the bills at 4 or 5 wins before the year, so 3-2 is an amazing start
  18. I don't know man. It is easy for us fans to say because we are going for that team. If you are an individual with millions of dollars on the line, it becomes a completely different scenario. I do think he handled it very immaturely, but I can't say I blame him when it comes to his own stats to a certain degree. It is only human to stress out about lack of targets, when it would be costing him millions and millions of dollars
  19. I 100 percent agree with you regarding being a head coach or being in the front office. I was purely talking about a player's perspective. Now I don't agree with Watkins publicly saying he was selfish, but I am just saying if I am a player on a team who is not heading towards the playoffs, of course I am going to want more balls thrown my way. I don't agree with the way he did it at all by calling out the coaches, but I can't blame him for wanting more targets. Who wouldn't, especially when tens of million of dollars are on the line, and your team is going nowhere?
  20. What would you rather, go 8 and 8 and barely be a part of the game plan? Or go 6-10 and light it up knowing you'll be making extra 10s of millions of dollars your next contract?
