  1. 1. The pats did not get to the AFC championship game because of their defence. 2. Bills defence had a very tough start to the year. They were awful against ravens and chargers but after that they turned in a very good year. Lit up by the packers? They held them to like 23 points and forced an INT. This is with the Bills offence going 3 and out basically every single possession... They virtually shut down the pats on the Monday nighter. Yes they got lit up by the colts. Against the Bears it’s hard to play inspiring defence when your QB throws 2 pick 6s in the first quarter and a half... Were they perfect? No. But to say they were average this year is ridiculous IMO. Anyways getting back on track. The 4 teams that are in the championship games this weekend are here because of their offence not their defence. Last year- Top 2 offences were in the superbowl Year before that- 2 out of top 3 offences were in super bowl This year- Most likely 2 out of top 3 offences will be in the Super Bowl. Get with the trend lol. Offence these days wins championships. Yes your defence has to contribute and make plays along the way, but offence is far more valuable than defence. That’s pretty inarguable.
  2. Eagles and Pats had either the 1st and 3rd or top 2 offences last year. Same thing a couple years ago with the pats and Atlanta. Same thing will happen again this year
  3. 1. I am not saying you don’t have to have a respectful defence. But you can have an average one and still win. As all 4 teams in now have average defences at BEST 2. Bills defence was not average.... If you think that then I’m guessing you didn’t watch the other 31 teams much this season 3. I’m from Canada. We spell it with a C not a S Lol 41-33 SB last year wouldn’t exactly qualify as “shutting an opponent down”. And the year before that, 38-31 I believe was the score
  4. Top 4 offences in the NFL throwing out all stats and just going by personal opinion: Saints, Chiefs, Rams, Pats. Would you agree? Top 4 defences in the NFL throwing out all stats and just going by personal opinion : I would say ravens, Bills, Cowboys, and maybe Seahawks. Agree? The 4 teams with the best offences are left, the top 4 teams with the best defence are out.
  5. Yep. Defence does not win championships anymore. You need to have a respectable defence of course but offence is way more valuable In 2018. I know it sounds like I am stating the obvious, but a descent amount of people here seemed to think a top defence was close or equal to a top offence.
  6. Both IMO. Mcvay would get the rams offence to line up fast so he can scan the defence and then relay it to Jared Goff. This is before the head sets turned off at 15 seconds. Brilliant coaching and he seems to always put his offence in a position to succeed
  7. Fair enough. But I do think he was huge in bringing in the guys he wanted. And I think it’s indisputable how much he helped Goff through his offensive schemes
  8. Yes sir. Only difference is we don’t have a Sean Mcvay unfortunately
  9. Of that group I would say Darby was the best. Byrd had a few very good years. Same as AW23 Zay- Not good so far Kiko- Average Ragland- Mediocre Dawkins- Looks descent and I like the potential Kelsay- Carved out a descent career. Average to slightly above Parrish- Mediocre Josh Reed- Descent feisty career
  10. Who had the colts 32 in the power rankings this year? lol. That’s just dumb whoever predicted that
  11. Ya that as well lol
  12. I actually think this is a good hire for the jets. I can see Gase and Darnold meshing well together
  13. I'm going to be a jerk and correct you lol. Technically that would have been the 2nd home game as the home opener last year was against the Jets:)
  14. Outside of the conference I would say so as of right now. Nothing against the city or the fans as I think you guys are awesome. It's just aaron Rodgers for me. I really don't like him and I think he is an extremely arrogant individual.
  15. Oh, I had no idea
  16. You have to pay to post? I’m so confused lol.
  17. Ya I kind of had a feeling LA would shut him down. I see a lot of defences doing that to him in the future unless he improves on his passing. As we know by having Tyrod for 3 years, defences can easily game plan against mobile QBs who struggle to throw in the pocket.
  18. I always kind of thought that myself. A lot of people seemed to get defensive with the comparison. Not too say they are exact, but they are both mobile QBs who run too much and have a hard time consistently throwing in the pocket.
  19. Lamar will need to throw in the pocket consistently if he wants to be a good franchise QB. There is way too much running/scrambling going on
  20. Fair enough. If I had to say yes or no I would say no then. But I am not saying fire him now or anything like that.
  21. 50/50. Dont approve yet but don’t want him gone yet either. Next year should tell us a lot more
  22. Defensive MVP: You don’t have Hughes or Tre?
  23. Nope I don’t believe they do for the Pro bowl
  24. Lol I see what you are saying. But would you really consider a 7-9 record with the bills looking slightly better a success next year? That would technically be "progress".
  25. Good points. I don’t think the Bills overtake the Pats yet but I love the direction their going. Still lots of money to spend and lots of draft picks. Going to be an interesting off season and we should have a better idea of how well this team can do once the draft is done.
