Lacanfora: Seahawks tried to trade for Glenn
BillsFan130 replied to YoloinOhio's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Trubisky? He was horrible today. Did you watch any of the game, or are you saying he is doing well because the bears won?.. -
They got screwed pretty bad on special teams today. Jags outplayed them most of the day. Differences in the game were missed field goals by the jags, and clutch kicks by the rams. And of course the long kick return for the TD. Special teams coach/ field goal kickers should be blamed for that loss

Interesting. Probably true but when La canfora puts out information, I always take it with a grain of salt -
Yep. That is one of Bill Belichick's main thing on his defence. If people don't think setting the edge is important, maybe they should ask one of the greatest coaches of all time

You are looking at 5 games in which there already has been an improvement in the rushing game under Roman.. Here are some stats for the rushing offences under roman... 2012 under roman.. San Fran was ranked 4th. 2013 under Roman, ranked 3rd 2014 under Roman, ranked 4th 2015 under Roman with Bills, ranked 1st 2016 under Roman/Lynn, ranked 1st 5 years in a row this man has had top 5 rushing offences and twice led the league, and led the league with the Bills twice. So yes I think we should cry over it considering we lost one of the best run schemed offensive coaches to this old conservative loser, (Dennison) who has so far ran this offence into the grave -
Great read on the Chiefs' collegiate spread offense

Yes sir I agree with you -

Ya I agree with everything you said there buddy. We are for sure on the same page. I guess I am just being a bit impatient, as to your point it is only 5 games in -

Hue Jackson would be an awesome hire I think. He is not a good head coach of course, but did very well in Cinci with that Bengals offence. Since he has left Cinci, that Bengals offence has gone down hill. -

Ya I know, fair points man. Just so far I am saying it has been worse than Hackett, not saying it is going to continue that way as Hackett was pretty awful. Yes Dennison has experience, but that necessarily isn't a good thing. I am very concerned his offensive style is too old school and out dated. I guess time will only tell. Just not impressed at all from his schemes/ play calling so far -

So basically just get a brand new offence in 1 year and be successful? Haha just teasing you sir, but just think this offence has a long way to go to be successful. Tyrod isn't great but going to be hard to upgrade over him next year if they choose to bring in someone new -

Based on what exactly though? Don't mean to be negative but just see no potential for the offence this year, or next. -

Fair enough. It just has been very ugly to watch. Even worse than Nate Hackett and that is saying something... -

Ya I 100 percent have agreed with all your posts on Dennison. I am not sure why some people have defended this guy. He has been awful the first 5 games and his past isn't good as well -
No way. I would be willing to be a lot of money that the pats don't drop one against the jets. Don`t overthink it. Jets are playing well but still don't come close to the talent NE has

Number 1, You originally said it wouldn't make a difference which is untrue Number 2, It would be a lot better based on stats and facts Number 3, There is absolutely no reason to completely wipe out the read option as even good/ great QBS use it in their systems -

"If McDermott had kept Anthony Lynn and the Greg Roman offense we would still be having the same issues right now." That was your original quote to me. Seems like you are backtracking a bit now as a lot of us have made some good points and facts about the rush game and overall offensive decline -
True, you may certainly be right

Matt Waldman on What is "NFL Open"?
BillsFan130 replied to Thurman#1's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Lol yep. Same thing happened with Fitzpatrick -
I really hate to criticize Kyle but i do think he has lost a bit of a step. Not too say he isn't good anymore, but it just seems like he hasn;t been getting as much penetration as he usually does. Just my personal observation

I never once said to do a read option on a consistent basis, I think you are misunderstanding what I am trying to say sir. When is the last time shanahan or kubiak or dennison did well? in 2012? That type of offence is way outdated. Rex Ryan also used to be known as the master of defence about 3 or 4 years ago and we all know how fast the league caught up to his schemes -

It does not have to be a college offence though as I stated in my previous post. Just pick a few things that Tyrod does best and use it more. If it isn't broke don't fix it. You implement it because this is the hand dennison has been given. He has a mobile QB who is very dangerous in a zone read offence and out of the pocket. But yet he tries to make him a pocket passer and completely ignores the bills run scheme from previous years. It is just beyond stupid to me. Seattle does not ask Russell Wilson to be something he is not. Cowboys don't ask Dak. Houston is not asking Deshaun Watson. Because those offensive coordinators and coaches are playing towards the strength of their QBS. Out of curiosity what do you like about Dennison's offence, even if we did have a top 10 passing QB? To Last year team's stacked 8 in the box a lot as well but the Bills could basically ran it at will. It is inexcusable to go from #2 rush offence in 2015 and #1 in 2016 to terrible. How do you believe it is not scheme based on what you have seen so far? Team's had to account for tyrods legs last year, but they don't even have to anymore. They don't ever use him as a running threat option which is why I believe there are barely any holes for Shady. All of a sudden incognito and wood can't run block?.. Nope, it is our idiot vanilla o coordinator
