True but the harder issue will be to actually get some good offensive lineman -

Week 14, 2017 - The Snow Game. Where were you?

Just a small warm up set to get the blood flowing a bit? -
Classy move sir!

How was my claim that he got screwed over by special teams and defence not true? He had good defences in the regular season a FEW times, and they let him down in the playoffs every time. Sure he had playmakers for offence. But it’s not fantasy football. He never really had a good pass blocking line until this year. I will acknowledge Rivers hasn’t played his best football in the playoffs. Most QBs don’t as the competition of course is a lot tougher.

If that’s your takeaway from Phil Rivers career then you obviously haven’t watched him. He will probably be a hall of famer one day. Just cause he had high ranked defences in the regular season, that means absolutely nothing in the playoffs. He has always got screwed over by bad coaching or poor special teams play, or bad defence in critical times, and sure he could have been better himself at times. Like all QBs...

Steelers Fan Keeping it Classy
BillsFan130 replied to prissythecat's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
I don’t like to judge fans based on isolated incidents as you can literally make a bad name for all the teams fans in this league if you were to do that. But in saying that I do find steeler fans very obnoxious. -
Ya I would say Phil Rivers is one. He has had a borderline hall of fame career of course, but not much success in terms of W-L/playoffs because his team around him could never take it to the next level. (Got called out a few times on this post So to make it clear, I am referring to his overall team including defence, offensive line, special teams and coaching. Not just playmakers he had as he has had great players to throw to.)

Bills have released Kelvin Benjamin and Andre Holmes

At this point, anyone who gives an effort. Can't have players like Benjamin on the team. Sets a terrible example IMO. -

Fantastic news -
Team game. One player can't win a championship by himself. Marino is considered one of the best of all time and he never won. Only some people like to paint the picture that if ONE player can't win a SB, then he must not be great. Never made any sense to me as Football is a complete team game made up of offence, defence, special teams, coaching, injuries/depth, and luck also plays a huge factor as well. It is not Basketball where your best player is on the court virtually the whole game and can make a direct impact on defence and offence. And Basketball only has 5 players on at a certain time where Football has 11.

NFL Officials are making a great game tough to watch
BillsFan130 replied to PUNT750's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Not sure the percentages of flags, but I can surely bet there are a lot more flags on the defence. Especially illegal contacts, defensive holdings, roughing the passer, and PIs -
Lol yep. He got torched all game by a rookie. Then he makes like 1 play on McCoy and he starts flexing like an idiot.

McDermott’s conservative garbage
BillsFan130 replied to HomeskillitMoorman's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
I don't know the scenarios in the game so I can't comment on the other ones. The example you gave me with the Pats yesterday though was a completely different scenario from the Bills dolphins game. What cost them 3 points was there wasn't any time remaining... If they called a timeout on Miami's drive, they would have had an extra 35-40 seconds to operate. That part I think you need to accept. Sure the burned timeout did not help. But there were much bigger issues with the clock management -
Tell me where I'm wrong. JA, rookie deal

Ya Foles just got hot for a few games. (The right games) Wentz is by far the better QB. -
McDermott’s conservative garbage

I don’t remember the titan game so can’t comment on it. NE got the ball to start the 2nd half though. It was a very quick 3 and out. And I watch football every Thursday/Sunday/Monday and I always see coaches call timeouts late in the first half to get the offence another chance. I can’t give a specific example because it’s such a common theme and nothing stood out of the ordinary by using the timeouts. Regardless it was very conservative by Mcd and it most likely cost them a crucial 3 points in a very tight ball game -

Different Scenarios: 1. Bills were losing in the game and were about to be down either 4 or 8. (It ended up being 8.) Where NE was up 10-0 2. The field position. Miami was inside the 10 where Minnesota was just on the fringe of the redzone. That is a huge difference as Miami can literally control the clock however they want, where Minnesota still obviously still needs to move at a quicker pace and can't let the clock bleed down on every play. If Minnesota was inside the 10 and they were running the ball with 1:00 left, I can almost guarantee the Pats would call a TO even with that 10-0 lead. -
Judging QBs on SBs? I guess you must think pretty low of Philip Rivers. Joe Flacco must be on par with Aaron Rodgers and Brees cause they all have 1 each! Maybe something to do with he was fading away and running for his life while throwing a ball that travelled 50 yards in the air against his body?

What is Clay doing 8 yards deep in the end zone?
BillsFan130 replied to Billsfan1972's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
It wasn’t a perfect throw by Allen and he even said it came out of his hand wrong. (You can even see the ball fluttering a bit) BUT... You are correct that an NFL receiver has to make that play. Clay has to help his QB out there and make that catch -
Where are all the Ivory should start posts?

They need a RB overhaul. As good as shady was the last 3 years, they need to find a new starting RB next year
