  1. It's nothing to do with my opinion on New England though . It's a fact they had a stacked team because they won the super bowl that year when Bledsoe went down. That's pretty unarguable. Its also really not my opinion on the talent on the colts. They were 8 and 7 with him last year and are now 3 and 11 this year . With basically the same team. That's also a fact and nothing to do with my opinion. That is 4 to 6 wins difference for one player . Massive differential My opinion is the colts team around him is awful And I'm basing that opinion on their record with vs. Without him, and also the lack of players and coaching around him. If you can suggest anything that the Colts would be even half competent without luck over the last 5 years, I would be very interested to hear it
  2. You are saying quality of roster has little to do on how a QB performs? Was Brees all of a sudden a mediocre QB when his team missed the playoffs the past 3 years? Bledsoe once again was on a stacked team... They won the superbowl the year he got injured lol... 0-2 when he was playing that year. Bledsoe was an average to an above QB playing on a very good team. It's hard to make an argument that Bledsoe is better just because he went to a superbowl. You know, Trent Dilfer won a superbowl, does that make him better than Bledsoe? And is Bledsoe also better than Philip Rivers because Rivers hasn't been to one? Luck is a good QB who has literally carried his team to the playoffs. Without him, they are awful as we are now witnessing
  3. For sure. Saskatchewan probably has the best fans as they sellout pretty much every game. There are some die hards In Toronto but it's honestly not taken too serious around here. The Hammer definitely has a lot of die hards there Hahaha. Ya WWE or something like that. Whatever wrestling is lol
  4. Ya for sure. I'm Canadian and for sure know where you are coming from. The only part that bothers me about the CFL is some of their rules. (If you miss the field goal, you get a point if the other team doesn't return it out) In saying that, the NFL has a lot of dumb rules as well
  5. Overrated in terms of being one of the greatest qbs out of college? Ya for sure because they were ridiculous expectations on him. But I definitely don't think he's overrated in terms of being good or not. I personally don't agree with the Bledsoe comparison at all as Bledsoe was a QB who couldn't even win with a stacked team. But all good, just different opinions
  6. It just seems pretty extreme especially with the CTE issue going on
  7. http://profootballtalk.nbcsports.com/2017/12/16/is-the-xfl-coming-back/ Vince Mcmahon must have completely lost his mind
  8. Awesome. I am a little shocked Adolphus Washington didn't get the nod over Geno Atkins though
  9. Exactly. The team around him is just awful. Including his coaches. They literally only have 1-2 good players on their team outside of Luck. With Luck- 11-5 in 2012 12-6 in 2013 (Including a playoff win and loss) 13-6 in 2014 (Including 2 playoff wins and 1 playoff loss 2-5 in 2015 (Was injured pretty much all year and played with bad injuries) 8-7 in 2016 2017 without Luck? 3-11... I don't understand how some people think Luck isn't good. This team is showing how bad they are without him. Is he a top 5 QB? No. But he is a pretty damn good QB
  10. Ya it's almost impossible to take a team to the promise land with that philosophy. Can't win 17-13 too often in the NFL anymore, with the rules heavily favouring the offence. He really needs to address his conservative approach in the off season
  11. Ya not surprised. We pretty much saw all of those things he talked about. Thats why jim lehnard was so valuable to Rex. Apparently he would check into the right call every time and he was one of the only people who could grasp Rex's confusing defence.
  12. Ya fair enough I'm not saying fire him. i was just making a point saying just because the Bills have somehow found their way to 7 wins, doesn't mean I'm happy With McDermott. There is a lot more I look for than just wins and losses. Dick Jauron also overachieved in the win/ loss column with marginal talent and we all know jauron did not end up being successful with the Bills. Now if he can somehow get the Bills to the playoffs this year, that would be a different story.
  13. You are right in saying he's not a generational talent like he was supposed to be . But that doesn't mean he's not a very good quarterback. i can't compare him to drew bledsoe as that would be an insult to luck lol. bledsoe gets injured and look what happens.Pats win the Super Bowl that year after they started 0 and 2 with Bledsoe .(Brady wasn't even that good in 2001 yet) luck gets injured? Colts go from an average team to one of the worst teams in football . And did you say the Colts have roster talent? Lol. Outside of Hilton , they don't have a good coach or player around him lol. Maybe costanzo if you want to argue that
  14. Pretty much agree with everything you said. Very good post in my opinion. (I'm sure lots of people will disagree with us)
  15. I'm in love with Kai adams. Don't even know what she said... Disagree with you there sir. Look how bad the Colts are without him. With him in the lineup there are easily 4-6 wins better. He has no talent around him, except for TY
  16. The two blowout losses made it possible? Not the horrible game time decision making, like punting on 4th and 1 on the Colts 41 when they needed to win the game?
  17. Not a fan so far but not saying fire him or anything like that Wins/losses are a little over rated in my books. A lot of those games the Bills won earlier in the year, they got a lot of fortunate breaks. They could easily be 4-9 right now. Let's say the Bills finish 8-8 this year but finish 7-9 or 6-10 next year. (which is a strong possibility) Would that mean he's regressing as a coach even though the team looks stronger, and even though he improves on a variety of factors such as clock management?
  18. TT isn't going to carry his team the next 3 games. That's not who he is. But he still remains their best option at quarterback right now. If he has a terrible first half and they are losing 10-0 or 13-3 or something then ya maybe put in Peterman to try and give them a spark. But starting Peterman would not be an upgrade because he simply isn't ready. There is a big difference between coming into a game in relief vs. starting a game. When you start, defensive coordinators game plan against you all week. Didn't really work out for Peterman when Gus Bradley game planned for him about 4 weeks ago
  19. I thought TT played well against Tampa and was a big part of why they won. The other 5 wins he played Ok. Definitely didn't carry the team but definitely didn't hurt the team. The losses outside of the Jets game (in my opinion he didn't play bad that game) he was very bad
  20. I know fullbacks are phased out of a lot of offences but I'm surprised he hasn't landed a job. Was a very good blocker the past couple years
  21. Oh lord. When I first read this I thought it said "Article on Sammy Watkins Masturbation".... I guess what's even more strange is that I still opened the thread...
  22. I really think your point is extreme. tom Brady is arguably the best quarterback ever to play and NE on top of that has way more talent/better coaching than the Bills. so basically the bills just got to add more talent, and find one of the best qbs/coaches of all time and then they'll start winning more?.. And it takes more than just a great QB. If you don't believe me, look at the saints record the past couple years
  23. Hmm no way I would trade Luck. I know he has injury problems but he's a stud and I don't even think he has reached his full potential yet
