  1. First time watching a full game of this kid and he looked damn good.
  2. Insofar as it lacked a real home run selection. The EJ pick was the wrong one but the need was too great. Sammy never lived up to the hype. Put those together and you're not looking so hot, but the players he selected have mostly gone on to be productive players, if unspectacular. But the lack of unity between him, Marrone and Rex really never set the team up to succeed and that's why he had to go. We now have a coach and GM on the exact same page and we build from there.
  3. I see a lot of Ducasse trusting the process.
  4. Had a good time at Whitehall Tavern last year.
  5. Eh, I remember them targeting Scott Chandler on back to back goal line plays a couple years back. They do it to us sometimes, but I'm sure they do it because they know they will beat us.
  6. I was talking to a guy earlier today about this actually. The Bills could beat any team in the AFC outside of the obvious two. It looks like the Chargers are starting to click right now and maybe they would be a tough one, but the Jags, Titans, Ravens, etc. don't scare me. I mean, they could just as easily shut down our offense as we could theirs, but we are in the same league as those teams. It would be a shame that this year offers our best chance to get in and we may very well miss out, but let's see how the next few weeks play out.
  7. I think the Ravens D is slightly better, but far superior is an overstatement. The points allowed is definitely in part due to three shutouts. While I know that's impressive, the opponents should be considered: Bengals (week 1 with a lousy offense before the the OC was canned), Dolphins and the Hundley Packers (who until yesterday were rather listless). This same defense allowed 44 points to the Jags. I don't disagree that the Ravens have the inside track to the playoffs.
  8. Baltimore has been inconsistent, definitely lousy on offense. We are pretty similar teams right now. We can reasonably expect them to finish 9-7 given their schedule, but 8-8 is equally possible - and the same can be said for us.
  9. Let's hope they have been studying Patriots film a little every week and have a plan to compete next week. That or Brady's Achilles ruptures in the first quarter.
  10. Terrible plays giving the chiefs a chance.
  11. Why call the timeout with 9 seconds left?
  12. A guy in my league started both this week. Really happy I wasn't facing him. Someone dropped Goff in my league and I passed on picking him up to keep my bench depth. Rolling with Mariota and his favorable schedule down the stretch. Hope Goff doesn't look too good these next few weeks, haha.
  13. The numbers don't lie, especially when cross-referencing the Jaguars run D since the trade. The return in that trade was really lousy, but I'm trying to be patient in seeing Beane and McDermott's vision that shape. Despite early projections, the team was winning and if the trade for Kelvin Benjamin indicates the team was aiming to remain competitive, the trade for Dareus either indicates a gross overrating of the other DL talent or Dareus was truly a malcontent (and indications lately have said otherwise so I really don't know what to make of it). To the point of the OP, I don't think the team quit necessarily, I just think holes in the defense are being exposed.
  14. And it makes the most sense. Rico must be on the hot seat after that.
  15. Other positive is that Cadet looks like the backup RB we have been messing.
  16. We needed a back up RB to catch passes like that.
  17. I can't wait to see the time of possession numbers.
