Mariota was my fantasy consolation prize after Watson went down. Hoping for a good game from him, but rooting for the Steelers to win. Also considered starting Corey Davis, but I don't think I can put him in over Diggs, Baldin and Woods. Any input there?

There has been a rapid mood shift from a few weeks ago players saying stuff like "this is the tightest locker room I've ever been a part of" to now, but we really aren't hearing players complain about the locker room either. No one going to the press and throwing another player or group of players under the bus (see: TY Hilton) or slamming the coach (see: Giants). I postulated in the other thread that maybe some players came to the coach and spoke to him about a QB change, and I'm sure the game film told coach the same thing. Either way, I don't think any players are down on Tyrod as a person and teammate, but something was obviously off with the O these past couple weeks. The blame is on both sides of the ball, but if we had even lost the game like 47-24 we could all be saying "this roster isn't built for shootouts" or some such phrase we've heard before. This past week was BAD.

My girlfriend does not care about football at all, but watching the Bills games she is constantly complaining about Tyrod holding onto the ball too long and then checking it down. It's kind of funny. TT is that big play threat, but he isn't methodical like all the great QBs.

Likely. McD didn't have a chance to see the film when he said "Tyrod is our starter," but if he was going to review the film and stick with TT, it would have done no good for the team if McD gave a vague answer.

Not really worried about the root canal or lingerong groin issue so much as the matchup. He's done OK with Keenum but the Skins secondary is strong. Right now I have Baldwin and Diggs with Woods as my flex. I can move Woods up and flex Mixon (another bad matchup but plenty of touches theoretically) or I also have Corey Davis and Josh Doctson on the bench. I feel like Diggs is an every week start but I've been reading a lot of articles advising a sit here. What's the TBD opinion?

Can definitely see 8-8, but if we beat the Saints we'll be talking 10-6 again. I just really hope we can pull the upset off! Ravens schedule is easy and they are my chief concern. Hopefully the inconsistency of their offense will undo them.

The guy in my league has Doug Martin, Elliott, Hunt and Duke Johnson. Maybe I can muscle him a little and get Hunt in a trade.

That's a cheap salary. Don't see us going for it though.

Gurley was going in the second in a lot of leagues, mine included. I would rather not use my keeper on a second round guy in theory, but Gurley is a top 5 pick next year and this Rams offense is legit. So unless Corey Davis really, really breaks out in the second half he's my guy.

Matthews is a fine receiver, but he is no Benjamin, not to mention he hasn't been particularly good this year. Maybe if he comes back cheap we keep him, since he seems to be buying into the culture and all. But Benjamin/Jones/Matthews/Holmes/Thompson is theoretically a strong WR corps.

Ha, I had Deshaun Watson. Picked up TT for the bye and then shipped off Tyrod to a guy for Stefon Diggs somehow. Was looking like a boss with Watson/Hill/Diggs/Fuller/Gurley/Mixon/Brate and then the next day Deshaun tears his ACL. Really coulda used TT but having Diggs makes up for losing Fuller and I got Mariota off the wire. Also traded Tyreek for Baldwin because I need the higher floor and a win this week. Just worried that my Haushcka/Bills D combo will fail me again like it did last week, for the first time.

No one is dropping defenses in my league. And since I posted this the Pats and Jets were both picked up. I don't know. The Bills could lay another egg, or they could get me like 6 points.
