  1. he just said he didn't like talking about the T.O. story because "there are games being played and other great players to talk about." i am stunned.....wow!!! kudos to you Mr. Madden, which you have not gotten from me since you coached.
  2. with all due respect, i don't buy that. when we had the chance, we softened in the redzone and played for a FG......we could have easily run some clock and taken this team to being ultra desperate instead of being semi-desperate.... a huge difference because the Vikes actually had a good chace to beat us in the 4th. i thnk the calls were bad enough in the 4th to give the vikes a chance. I was not overly impressed with that. But I am happy!!!! Go Bills, but please improve the killer instinct. this young team needs it.
  3. not only that, is he really Italian? someone else on that show mentioned GoodFellas and he blurts out "yeah, Chaz Palmentieri..." um, no Skinny, Chaz was not in that movie.
  4. this is the slowest moving football highlight show I have ever seen. I think I've seen 3 game highlights and 4 sappy family pieces.....and there's only 20 minutes left, maybe 15. what a bunch of crap. If you ever have insomnia, watch a replay during the week.
  5. you lucky bastards....i envy you all. it's 2:42 here in Phx, and i am just getting in from a night of $ex, booze, and rock and roll........AND HERE I AM ENVYING YOU!
  6. first off, thank you for clipping out just the Bills stuff....i didn't have to read all his usual non-football drivel. Now as far as coaches complaining about a tough schedule, I have yet to read a quote from an NFL HC about their schedule being too tough. Nit the message a professional coach would send to his team. also, why would someone of Marv's stature (and understanding of the game and injuries) ever make such an assinine excuse. never gonna happen with Marv.
  7. i can't read PG's posts.....i tried and it hurts.
  8. not a NEW expectation....i'm sticking with my original....10-6
  9. i've been to many games at Rich/Ralph....never, even when we got blown out, did I see a mass exit of fans like I do when the Phish fans leave. They always do when the going gets tough. I see some Bills fans leaving early at times, but never to the degree that I see in Miami. Also, tell me what is harder to sit through? Lake winds and icy precipitation or warm sunshine? Pick your poison. One more thing, don't bag on the Bills fans not filling up seats....Miami and Buffalo are two entirely different regions....more people in sunny Miami then in Buffalo. Are you sure you are a bills fan?
  10. I had the pleasure of meeting up with the Portland Bills Backers yesterday for the game (I am out here on business). What a crowd we had for the game at a great place called Jax. When they showed the phans leaving in the 3rd, it generated a searing rendition of "na na na na, hey hey hey, good bye".
  11. they throw it in SportsCenter. So when they finish showing BOS/NYY.
  12. don't you know? he comes from the Belichick coaching tree. So that's why Romeo Crennel and Eric Mangini are drawing rave reviews from NFL fans already... they're good.....you just don't know what good is.
  13. i have a bunch of those quotes and links saved....but I'm still going to wait a couple more years.
  14. hey, wait a minute....Sean's an expert.......you see, he played flat for the better part of his career, so the man knows what he's talking about.
  15. ok, so we must all be "crazy". How many NFL games has Saban coached? How many has Jauron coached? What's our record? What's Miami's record? Who lost last week's game in the 4th qtr? yeah, they are a much better team than the Bills. I hate that I'm crazy....
  16. a lot of people seem to forgot how careful Belichick and the Pats O-staff was with Brady his first season. He was given a simplified version of the playbook and they rarely had him take any chances like the 30 yarder you describe above. I remember this, and for me, this is basically JP's first season.
  17. Rubes, i remember the play...it was in the third period, i believe. I was heading to the airport and could not resist the temptation to stop at my favorite bar to watch a couple series. funny thing is, the only guy watching that particular TV was a Pats fan. He was kool though....anyway, I said "good decision, JP" to which he replied "Last year, that would have been a sack....he looks sharp today...he's doing what Brady usually does to you guys." And HVBFan, good points. I was happy that the recievers were catching those quick slants too. Jp was doing a great job not locking on to Evans.
  18. may today be the day we take our pride back. it all starts with New England. It's a day of reckoning......then next week, hopefully, we can squash the hype in Florida. BILLS
  19. haha!!! i fell asleep 2 hours ago.....here I am again. it's 3:15 for crying out loud! like a woman once said to me when she witnessed me watch a Bills game once...she said "Why do you put yourself through this?" I couldn't answer her.....but damn, this game grips me. such a huge part of my shallow existence
  20. it's the same thing every year for me......CAN'T SLEEP THE NIGHT BEFORE GAME 1!!!! sleep deprivation is like a wicked drug. i always watch the first game with blood shot eyes.... i hope we kick the ever-living sh-- out of those Bahston Basturds tomorrow.
  21. Why not us? Because the media tells us so...that's why.
  22. i actually stole that from another poster in the "Saban is a douche" thread....but man it sure is funny!!!
