  1. Willis uses brass knuckles now.....much more affective
  2. he owe's nothing to Buffalo....the Great White Satan/Baby Eater is who he owes any gratitude to...
  3. certainly a lot of his recent "body language" and interviews suggests that. But LA, he loves Bills fans!!! He's the only one to jump into the stands at times
  4. that kind of got me pumped for the season! you gotta admit, it is truly amazing when you look back at how effed up that knee was that night in Tempe.... I think all the Willis bashers on TSW should realize just what this young man has accomplished in so little time.
  5. that is a very good point. knee surgery and rehab has definitely come a long ways in the last 10+ years (I know, I've had ACL surgery back in 1990, then again in 2004). But Achilles injuries are not as common for athletes and they have not perfected surgeries and rehab for that as far as I know.
  6. "Preseason camps and preseason games are for the soul purpose of assessing players abilities and forming a team." this is so true. But you don't need to win and even have good offensive numbers in Preseason to evaluate and build your team.
  7. In Charles Roger' case, if Mike Martz doesn't want you, you are probably not all that good. I'm actually surprised with the A. Smith cut. The Texans lost Davis to injury already and they have 2 rooks and Morency now. and BTW, C. Watson must be terrible. (I'm talking about Courtney, not Chris, but I guess it fits them both)
  8. here in AZ, free chulupas for all in attendance when the D-backs score 8 runs ro more.... I have gone to 3 D-back games and all 3 times walked away with the chulupa!!!
  9. any conversation about toe nail removal always reminds me of Ray Nitschke. as a result of the Ice Bowl, he guy suffered frostbite on his toes and had to have several nails removed. Then he proceded to play the next game, black toes and all, against the Raiders (i think) in the Super Bowl. Now that's a football player
  10. gotta like a guy who knows his priorities
  11. exactly.... PRESEASON=0 they are still tied with Dallas, NYG, and Philly I've also seen kudos in other posts going to our assistant coaches for last night's PRESEASON game. WTF? I don't feel comfortable criticizing or praising before week 1.
  12. was that Butch Davis? a real draft guru that guy is....
  13. Matty, you are right on. I was going to post something similar. I will take it a step further and say that we are blessed (and so is the local media!) that our coach AND OUR GM give probably the best interviews (and answers to questions) in the league. It's very refreshing to hear real answers from a HC. And Marv....well, he's just plain and simply the most original pro football person I have ever heard speak. He never appears out of touch, there is no hesitation before an answer, and his sense of humor is kind of a shock to some for someone of his age.
  14. oops, skimmed right by it. Thanks! yes, they suck.
  15. I think they edited the thing. I read it and it doesn't say we are returning the same O-line.....did I miss it?
  16. I don't think the coaching staff was missing Steve Smith in practice though... take your time Mr. Smith (I'm biased because Steve was very instrumental in me winning my FFL championship last year.....he was a sixth round steal for me.)
  17. Yeah, you'd hate to lose those other 45 posts by rejoining with a different name...
  18. ahhh, yes.... The A-Train vs. The Toy Train i like both of these guys. I see where A-Train still has a physicality to him where he likes to lower the boom on guys, even when he's getting tackled near the sideline. That's an attitude I like in a RB. On the flip side, I think Lionel is only going to get better. He seems to be tireless....one of those guys who can wear down a D. He has good promise for the future.
  19. HAHA....Rinse. Repeat. Good Stuff! every sports show I've listened to has the same predictions, give or take 1 or 2 top teams, and this is for all the Divisions.
  20. Bernie, try this. it is huge, but free, but you can also pick more abbreviated versions. I printed out just the rankings to use as a scratch off list at my draft. Good Luck! http://fantasysource.sportingnews.com/nfl/.../home_good.html
  21. OK, I didn't hear the show, but I can guess what these two original-thought-less airbags predicted.... PATRIOTS DOLPHINS BILLS JETS so predictable
  22. exactly....thanks for no playoff team, TD!!!
  23. INK, the reason a lot here get pissed at fata$$ is because he has blasted Marv and the Bills more than once since the firing of Old Whitey.....then he goes and pimps Donohoe by lecturing Bills fans that we should have been careful what we wished for when we applauded the firing of TD. wish I had some of the links, but I can tell you this, if you read them, you'd see just how harsh his writing tone was.
  24. • Buffalo ($8.8 million under): The Pats aren't afraid to deal within the division, as they showed with Drew Bledsoe. But maybe the bomb Peerless Price caught from J.P. Losman the other night will make Marv Levy think he can get by with Lee Evans and flotsam at wideout. http://sportsillustrated.cnn.com/2006/writ...qb.camps/4.html
