  1. That answers a lot of Gibson/Nance posts...
  2. quality stuff there, man!
  3. very Fair and Balanced......devils aside.
  4. i can't see how most are already calling it a failure. Around draft time, the main reason was because we didn't address it with one (or all) of our 1st day picks or that we didn't spend a king's ransom on a "big money" FA. the best thing for any line is that they perform well TOGETHER and execute the plays that are in their offensive scheme. So with a new offense, how the f*ck does anyone know weather or not the line is successful or not......especially when they haven't played 1 game yet.
  5. 9 hours ago and you're on TSW already??? Take it easy there, big fella
  6. Thanks Man! That shot of Greer going up to defend the pass is a beaut, Clark. also, on the Parrish catch......someone hand those folks a snickers bar. what a glum looking bunch
  7. I can't believe I'm the only one shocked that they cut Lawaylon Brown!!!!
  8. oh, i tried reminding them myself in another post. But they sure did find something to chew onalright. They will argue that those SB Bills teams, while losing a lot in preseason (or I should say not finishing with a higher score), they sure did whoop up on the competition for that one quarter. My a$$. I remember watching preseason back then and watching the most vanilla sh*t being run out there and very little highlight reel material.
  9. that's the kind of enthusiasm this young team needs from it's fan base!!!!
  10. this is from Terrence McGee's blog after the CAR game. "Without a game plan during the preseason it’s different because you don’t really know what to expect during the game. By not watching film to see what routes your opponent runs it becomes a bit harder to cover them but at the same time as a cornerback in this league you should be able to break on an out or dig route because you see a form of it every day in practice. Basically, the preseason is used to improve your personal play and to see what your strengths and weaknesses are. and from DJ regarding preseason: "...we don't game plan teams" hard to get real excited about or real down on preseason performances with the above in mind...
  11. I think we can beat them. But I set high standards on my team, unlike others around here.
  12. actually they did pretty much what you described when they beat NE at home Game 1 a few years ago. They did talk about us, but it was more of "what's wrong with NE?" We were mentioned as the team to beat, and I think I remember Salsbury saying he was sold. HAHA! what an idiot!
  13. I can't figure out why so many here got so concerned last week (and now after this game) about mistakes/bad plays. This is the preseason......you WANT to have your team's mistakes occur during these games! That gives the coaching staff something to work on! If your second and third stringers beat up on another teams 2 & 3, you virtually learn nothing. Sure you get an idea of who's climbing up the depth chart, but you can achieve more when they show weaknesses. It's all a part of evaluating and adjusting. Wouldn't you like to find out who needs to improve their blitz pick up NOW rather than against the Pats??? Seems like some here are so hungry for preseason greatness that they are willing to sacrifice regular season progress..... So relax, please. We are still tied for the division lead at 0-0.
  14. EXCELLENT report! i saw the highlights and the only thing I saw differently was that Reed looked indecisive and did not make the move that JP thought he was going to.
  15. I'm telling you.......which two teams voted against the CBA???????? that's the way I see it. My TiVo has multiple airings of other games, yet NO BENGALS/BILLS. And to top it off, it was a HIGH SCORING preseason game!!! why wouldn't they show this game?
  16. I'm pissed! all i know is I did a search on my TiVo for the Bills game and I found no airings of the Bengals/Bills game. Yet I find multiple showings for other preseason games. The Browns get shown like 3 times, other games are replayed over and over again as well, but they won't show this game? Funny how it's the two teams that voted against the CBA!!!! I think politics is playing a bigger role than fear of low audience!
  17. this is from the link (am I missing something???): On how much getting reps with the first teams help with Matt Bowen out: Since Matt (Bowen) went down, I’ve taken every snap with the first team. It’s unfortunate that Matt went down. Matt will be back soon. He’s competitive and we’re still going to compete for the starting job. On how the reps are helping him: It’s like growth everyday – grow a little bit more everyday. The backers around me are helping me – Troy (Vincent) is helping me. On if he has been catching up on the time he missed in beginning of camp: It’s going good. Everyday that I’m here with my teammates I get in the meetings and learn something new. It’s good for me and it’s good for the team. On if he expects to be a starter: That’s what drives me, being the starter on opening day and coming out of the tunnel to play New England. I’m working hard, keep learning everything I can learn from the coaches here and the players remind me – hopefully I’m out there.
  18. OH THE HUMANITY OF IT ALL!!!! (i'm glad DJ is not in that sisterhood)
  19. Springfield Isotopes this is funny, I actually read in another post that someone was upset that McGee was not returning KO's. The thought of someone not understanding this is extremely hilarious to me. We're 0-0 and we're already doomed. you guys crack me up!
  20. only us old guys know that song!
  21. I did.....and they replied: fcku oyu
  22. Nice! wonder if Brushback has an article started yet....
  23. ummmm, prior to last season they had ONE guy make the Pro Bowl. Hell the Bills had more players last year! and CHI had 6 (counting reserves) last year.
  24. I wrote to them and they responded. Their response was equally impressive. It was : "This site is for YOU the fan. Pleas let us know if we can improve in any way." Much better than in years previous.
