  1. see? and Paul Z. along with P. King and a bunch of others like to sound as if they know what the hell is going on when Marv and Co. "reach" for picks in the draft. Just goes to show you....what the f*** do they know? certainly not any more than any of us who post here. "He looks as if he'd played the position all his life" ah-hahahahahahaha!!!! I love it! I am so glad you saved this!
  2. The pats are asking for 2 first rounders, that's all i know. and I think that's steep.
  3. no arguments here, I just like good football talk. and with football talk, you are going to get all kinds of opinions. I just think that as a true blocking FB, Shelton ranks right up there with some of those that you list. As was the case with Sam Gash (one of the All-Time greatest FB's) they aren't going to ask him to carry or catch the ball that often. Just lower the boom and make an alley for Willis. Taking your list, I will add a couple and rank them the way I see them, putting an emphasis on blocking and not neccessarily ball handling skills: Mack Strong (this guy is a big reason Alexander is who he is) Lorenzo Neil (always been one of my favorite FB's) William Henderson (GB...this guy is a rock. My favorite FB in the league) Cory Schlesinger (Det) Karny Dan Krieder (I think the rest of the O-line certainly makes his job easier) Shelton Terrell Smith (Cleveland...once opened huge holes for McCallister in NO) Allstot (I used to love MA, but he really hasn't been the same since his neck injury. I also think the Bucs feel he might be on the decline as well because they aggressively went out and signed Sowell from the Jets as insurance) Now, when i say one of the best in the league, i certainly don't mean top 3 or even 5. With the list that you and i have come up with, there are still 24 other teams, so that would certainly make Shelton one of the best.
  4. Preseason doesn't mean squat. It's what he did for Willis the last two seasons that matters.....and what he will continue to do for our running game. He's been the best FB we've had since Sam.
  5. Daimon Shelton is a diamond in the rough. I've seen him knock the everliving snot out of defenders the last couple seasons. He's one of my favorite players on the Bills.
  6. Shelton is one of the very best FB's in the game right now. No way Ricard was going to beat him out. and I think they had Burns listed as a backup FB on the depth chart earlier in the preseason. he also plays special teams.
  7. btw, what is his 40 time?
  8. it's like he came in asking for a job and Al said sarcastically "Yeah, sure, come right in" then he actually showed up!!!
  9. 21 cokeheads, thank you very much
  10. A-Train is a beast catching the ball out of the backfield. In his ROTY season, he looked like a vet catching screens and short passes then getting positive yardage afterward.
  11. did you just answer the same post twice? you, my friend, might be the one with the drug problem
  12. Leonard was cut
  13. if i were the turk, i'd sleep with one eye open tonight. Liam scares the crap out of me
  14. I though we had him Stevie....I thought he was a goner oh the humanity of it all!!!!!
  15. I think DiGiorgio showed up more than Liam. and then there's that character thing.....Liam is a psycho!!!
  16. loved Cosell. Boxing and MNF were never the same after he left.
  17. Gates and Wilson. I really liked George Wilson. Davis better have a good year, because I think George got screwed.
  18. you hold a grudge like a true woman scorned....
  19. hey don't go throwing me under the bus so easily, I said "maybe"
  20. i don't think Berman will be doing the highlight show any more...
  21. and so did Earnie Accorsi and me and just about every Badger fan in the world. maybe he had one hell of an O-line during his college career???
  22. long time Milla fan, and I thought I found every pic of her ever taken but that one did not look familiar......i'd like to see the full size pic
  23. good one! is it just me, or is that guy the most annoying head coach in the league to listen to? liked him as a player, but man he can really get on my nerves after a few seconds of hearing him talk.
