  1. no wonder he had the herpes on his lip....look where he keeps his cell phone (look to the right of the hand with the alleged marijuanna cigarette)
  2. How about Buffal044 ......................it pains me to write that.
  3. I was really impressed that he got an interview with John Goldsberry.... seriously, I have no problem with the guy's writing about the Bills. Some things you agree with, some you don't. He's no different than Len Pasquareli, Chris Mortenhoe, John Clayton.....well, let's hope he is different than Clayton....for his sake and the sake of the world. I like that he at least is getting these one on one Q&A's. I read all these so called interviews and they are actually interviews that had 8 or so media guys around getting the same quotes at the same time. It's infuriating to me to read 4 different articles that have the same player quote.
  4. thanks, but I forgot to add: I was at the comeback game. There was no lower feeling in the football world when it is 35-3 and the feeling of the finality of a playoff loss sets in and you're sitting there freezing your a$$ off...and for what? I asked myself that question right after Bubba took the INT in for a TD. But I answered the question by staying put in my seat. and you know what? My team confirmed that answer the rest of the contest. You gotta have faith. I had it that day, and I will always have it for my team.
  5. WOO-HOO!!! Sign me up! I'd love to work at a place like that................wait a minute, I think I actually did work for a place like that once.
  6. I guess I feel like I did in July of 1980. I was excited, man! Prior to that season, we had 4 losing seasons back to back, I was 13, and I can remember being just as I was when I was 9, 10, 11, 12......I gotta tell ya, it was great to be a kid back then and having a winning team was not an option for me. I had the Bills and they typically stunk, and that was all there was to it. But I was a fan. I had dreams back then of playing for the Bills and leading them to a Championship. Sounds corny, but that's the beauty of it. I can remember having hope every year! When we got Jim Ritcher and Joe Cribbs in the draft. I was excited and always willing to give my team the benefit of the doubt. I guess i had HOPE. or FAITH. i can remember feeling the same way in July 88. July 89. July 90.......today! With the offseason being so long, how can you NOT be excited about the season to start???? Go Bills!!!!
  7. It's amazing how the experts predictions on every team has them pretty much the same records (+/- 2) as the previous season. How true. I notice this every year. How about going out on a limb and maybe backing some of it up with some well thought out analysis. I mean, they are getting paid for this! Case in point, all of these f***ers are saying Miami is a playoff team this year. Sounds like something they said about the Bills after the 04 season, doesn't it? I like how they bring up the Bills QB situation, yet they ignore the fact that the Phins have no clear starter either. Culpepper may not be ready to go, so then you have Joey, and who....Brock Berlin/Marcus Vick? Either way you slice it, the two at the top of the depth chart are new to the program in Miami. Why is this not viewed as a similar question mark as the one in Buffalo?
  8. a year ago today, how many experts or ______ Fans thought the Bears, Giants, Redskins, or Dolphins would have seasons like they did in 2005? not many at all. I have faith. This team has as much chance as any other in the league. Here's a question though: What final W-L record would allow RW/ML/DJ to offer a cheek?
  9. what ever became of this? anyone hear it?
  10. I can do this. I am 39 but I can still lift most heavy objects by myself and I can whoop most 20-30 year old punks in an arm wrestling match. my writin' leeeves a bit to be dizired, but hoo cairz, i'm strong dammit. (good idea....can't wait to see it take form)
  11. relax, Marv's still driving home from the last OTA. He's 81. also, don't we get an agent's discount for reaching for 2 picks in the 1st round? I mean, all the 'spurts say they are so they must be.
  12. lock yourself back in that room and slide the key under the door. I see us at 10-6. plain and simple. I don't believe the hype surrounding Miami. The Pats, i expect will be at the top of the division. .....and yes, I have been drinking again
  13. anybody know what Roberta Robison's 40 time is?
  14. Not entirely related to the subject of their report on the PT story, I must add my history with ESPN as a sports fan. Back in the 80's and most of the 90's, I loved the TV channel. I thought they were the ones who where giving all sports fans a good fix, whereas all we had before was newspapers, magazines, and radio. ESPN filled me up with sports and I was satisfied....i'd watch and tune out when I had my fill. For some reason, right around the mid 90's, they decided to take a new avenue with regards to sports. Their internet site was gaining popularity and they exanded to their TV coverage, etc. etc. They had me hooked. Remember the great commercials they had? I was still a big fan! But they exploded. They started peddling the negative side of sports figures and started to get away from the real joy of sports....the x's & o's. Everytime I tune into Colin Cowherd, Dan Patrick, Mike and Mike, etc. they are focusing more and more on what a player did off the field and base most of their broadcasts on the entertainment side of sports. Mind you, not the entertainment most fans get out of watching a great pitchers duel or a tight football game that goes into OT.....but the shock entertainment value. Who's doing steroids, who smacked who's wife, who ran over which traffic cop,....you get the picture. I think that today ESPN stands for Entertainment SPiN.
  15. i scared! for two reasons: the nekkid part and the fact that THIS JUST MIGHT BE THE SHORTEST POST I'VE EVER SEEN FROM YOU!!!!
  16. wow, I'm shocked. SI.com was very down on this pick. How is this such a reach, yet your writer(s) deem him that valuable in his first season???? is this a CYA move?
  17. "T.O. says that no quarterback has the right to treat a teammate like that." but it's okay for him to yell at coaches and other qb's in the heat of battle. This guy feels like a certain respect should be paid to him yet he will never expect himself to reciprocate that standard to others. But let's get real. The QB should be the Field General out there and I'd bet that most QB's tell certain players in the huddle to STFU. I would expect it to be standard when a teammate, especially one as selfish and vocal as T.O., gets in the face of the General.
  18. what is up with that lame mickey mouse tattoo on Hine's Ward? He's showing it with pride too.
  19. I'm hoping they win the Super Bowl in 2008 (2007 Season). I can hop right on the 101 here, head north, and be at Cardinals Stadium within minutes.
  20. dreaming ain't fun. Try drinking some 12 year old Scotch. Go check out my alcohol fueled predictions. http://www.stadiumwall.com/index.php?showtopic=48202
  21. New England will win the Division Buffalo will make the playoffs Miami will miss the playoffs, barely. NYJ will improve from 2005. The AFCEast will be a division to reckon with in 06, and don't you forget that, Pally. Here's how it goes down: NEP 11-5 BUF 10-6 MIA 9-7 NYJ 6-10 The Bills will start the season 0-2. Upon completion of week 8, 3 AFCE teams will be tied at 5-2.....the Jets won't be one of them. After Thanksgiving: NE 8-3, BUF 7-4, MIA 6-5, NYJ 4-7. At this point, Sean Salisbury's a$$ will be firmly secured to the Bills bandwagon. Xmas night: NE 10-5, BUF 10-5, MIA 8-7, NYJ 6-9. Last week of the season....NE defeats TEN to secure the division. Buf loses to Baltimore by 10 points. Miami avoids .500 as they narrowly defeat Indy. NYJ lose to OAK & Lamont Jordan. that's that. I will post my Super Bowl predictions as soon as I replace the empty bottle of Glenlivet that sits before me.
  22. you rock, brother! That's the funniest post I've read in months. I needed that.
  23. I had a Social Studies teacher in High School who wore the same suit 5 days a week. He stunk too. I coined the nickname "Fonzy" and he took it as a compliment. He was one weird f***er. 22 years later, now, a client of ours wears nothing but black, every day. Folks, he's a professional working in the engineering field. Smart effer too. But the black...........it's creepy!
