you mean like the "Notre Dame's stock is falling fast" one????

I can tell you this, the Antichrist's Defense is not an easy one for any QB to have success against. Just ask P. Manning (although he was better agains them last year). I just hpe people are not too hard on JP should he struggle mightily. He needs to continue to be the starting QB and learn from tough times. I'll support JP and the team regardless of what happens tomorrow. That being said, maybe we confuse them with our D enough and our O-line stacks up better this year....we could win if we keep it close well into the 4th.

what's with the "hey...hey" when the officials all have their backs turned and are facing the play about to happen.....doing their job! Whoever said "cocky" is right. Then he has the nerve to jaw at the official afterwards. not only that, but who's going to hear "hey...hey" when the fans are still going nuts over the biggest play of the game???? eediot

I'm sure nobody cares, but...

that's a good story! congrats man! -
Oh, I get it alright. I don't agree with it, but I understand it. It's because sports media in general is full of regurgitation. They latch on to what a few predict early (or they just take last year's end result) and that's what they spew. Apparenetly that has infected a lot of folks here on this board. The way I look at it? Want your team to do well, I think you ought to demand it of them and expect it from them. My expectations are a little higher for this team this year. In an arlier post I predicted 10-6. Here's my reply to those who laugh at that: Why the F*** not? who cares if I'm wrong....won't be the first time, nor the last. If you expect mediocrity, how the hell do you think your team is going to feel? If I were a Bill, I sure as heck would want more support than that from my fan base. They are going up against our worst rival right now, and I hope they don't carry the same amount of confidence that the masses here have.

LA, it pisses me off that he pissed you off with a really pathetic attempt to piss you off...really

He made some glaring errors, too, like one time trying to bounce it outside instead of getting the needed first down that was right in front of him. when I watched the Detroit game, that play stuck in my head the most. you could see it even in his body language as he headed for the sideline...."oh dear lord, what have I done....that's it! I'm gone....i blew it"

joe, you hit the nail on the head. Thomas is a very good receiver. You could see it in the last preseason game especially and i think the coaches saw it in camp. When Thomas catches out of the backfield, there is no hesitation when he turns upfield. The motion is very fluid. With Gates, I noticed that when he turned upfield, he would slow down slightly as if to survey what was ahead and in turn make too many choppy steps instead of getting the most of what was there. This offense will feature outlet passes and screens a lot. Another thing may be blitz pickup, alhough I did not see enough to support that, but a lot of times, that will favor a vet in lieu of a two year player.

Is Buffalo Bills.com so much better or what.
mary owen replied to milfster1's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
MILFSTER, i couldn't agree more. I spend a lot of time on that site just watching the vids. being way out here in the desert, I crave for Bills stuff and they have sure come a long way in providing me something to feast on. BTW, welcome aboard. -
He didn't give rim-jobs to Belichick/Saban/Cowher... and he wrote a nice blurb about our coach 2. Meeting Dick Jauron: I don't care whom you consult: They all have glowing reports about Jauron. Good coach. Great guy. Consummate gentleman. All I knew about him was what I saw in an October 1972 game when he ran for a zillion yards against Dartmouth. I didn't like Yale, but I loved watching this man run. Now, three decades later, I thoroughly enjoyed talking to him about the Ivies, the band Boston and the Buffalo Bills. He's bright, conversant and, yes people, a gentleman. "I loved playing for him," said former Detroit defensive back R.W. McQuarters, now with the Giants. "He's a player's coach. Whenever you wanted to see him, the door was always open. You can't ask for anything more." Here's hoping he makes it to the top. Again. http://www.sportsline.com/nfl/story/9635069/1

had to post this....sorry if it was posted earlier. This new CD exceeds all my expectations.....and I always expect to be blown away by the Mule. Warren is definitely playing with more of an edge lately. The second song, New Angel, has some serious cowbell I am getting sent to Oregon for 3 months by my employer. I get to see Warren and the boys while I'm there Oct 22. Anyone else hear this CD yet and is anyone going to any show on the tour?

I'm really bummed. I loved that dude. My son grew up watching him and really took a liking to animals because of watching The Croc Hunter. very sad. rest in peace, Steve.

you know, I thought about Johnson, but I rarely have watched any Bengals games to fairly place him on the list. You are probably right though.

I didn't say they don't know anything, so keep your words out of my mouth. Maybe you should read my post again. I was referring to the draft and evaluating/predicting unproven talent with regards to the next level, the NFL. The comment was about Marcus Vick and my comment was about the draft. When it comes to that, I would definitely say the above-average NFL fan knows just as much.
