  1. May take another year since he signed a 5 year contract, but CJ has to be frustrated beyond belief in how little he is used. I seen it after the Miami game where he says he wants people to believe he can be a full time back and carry it 20 times. He is that confident in himself, and he has this chicken$h1t coach who refuses to put him on the field at the pivotal times in the game. Gailey has to start getting Spiller at least 20 touches a game, or this guy bolts at the first opportunity. Why would you stay and play for a coach who has no confidence to give you the rock and carry your team.
  2. I guess all these so called experts should really wait to see how someone reacts in a real game before labeling him an impact rookie. Very disappointed with him as well as the rest of the defense. He may turn out to be great in the long run, but for some much hype from the coaches, players and media he pretty much sucked it up with the rest of the team today. Wasn't like he was covering all pro receivers on the other team. They were a bunch of no names other than Santonio Holmes
  3. NO DETOX SMURF, WE WOULDN'T. WOULD STILL BE SCREAMING ABOUT WHAT A !@#$1N LOSER HE IS AS A HEAD COACH. 0-4 SINCE THE EXTENSION. WAY TO MAKE US FEEL GOOD ABOUT THE NEXT 3 YEARS RALPH. Why don't you sign Trend to a 10 million a year extension before he throws 10 TD's in 1 season and his value goes through the roof.
  4. Dick Jauron and Trend Edwards deserve each other. Bunch of ch1ckinsh1t losers who don't have it in em to go for the win. Don't give me a load of Edwards brought us back and his 4th quarter comebacks. He has beaten no one this year with a winning record. They are an embarrassment to the Buffalo Bills organization. Why won't Ralph Wilson sell this team to someone like Jim and his backers, who won't settle for mediocrity.
  5. Sorry, but I have got to vent. TRENT EDWARDS SUCKS. We are paying a wide received over 8 million dollars a year to be a decoy.
  6. I think that is the magic question. To me I'd rather come up with the money somewhere and save 25-30% on the signing bonus of paying him now, vs the taking the risk of letting him play out his contract year and having a great year, at which point your cost has jumped big time. Unfortunately we have to take risks at some point now with the contract, or you get caught in situations where the player has all the leverege, such as Nate has now.
  7. I know everyone wants to pay Nate a ton to keep him, and go out and spend mega bucks to get Eric Steinbach and other Free Agents to make us a contender next year. My philosophy is a little bit different in that I will take just the playoffs, and hopefully we go further with our young players developing. What I would like to see our Front Office do, is similar to what Modrak did in Philly a few years back, in going on and signing your young core of superstars as decent rates before they hit a contract year. They were pretty succesful from what I can tell, with this approach. Our candidates for this are: Jason Peters - already done and locked up for a very reosonable rate. Imaging what trying to resign him now would cost. Lee Evans (1 year left on contract) - didn't make the Pro Bowl, but we know how good he is. One of the top 5 WR's in the league in my opinion. If we wait, next year with a polished Losman and better line, he is going to have a monster year and will cost us millions more. I think he would do it, with his team first attitude. he is the opposite of Nate Clements. Give Lee 5 or 6 million to entend. That's what we were paying Eric as a number 1. let's give it to this guy to get kim him in Buffalo for the long term. JP Losman (1 or 2 years left on contract)- Up and Coming, and if we wait and he really develops into star QB, the price tag goes up. No probowl this year, and inconsistant performance, means we can prob get him extended for 5 or 6 mil a year for about 4 or 5 years. Another guy who really seems to love Buffalo. Willis (1 year left on contract) - If he is going to stay in Buffalo, not is the time to do it. Buffalo should give him a decent offer to extend, based on what they think his potential is, and not try and lowball him for this years performance. I don't say break the bank, but give him a fair offer, as he has dealt with a subpar line (A-Trains #'s aren't great either) plus Willis has played hurt and sick. Hopefully that respect we give him, and the faith we show in him, shows him that it ain't all about the money, and let's keep the team 2 gether. If he refuses or asks for megabucks, then we know where his motive is and we move on. London Fletcher (unrestricted FA, but think will give Bills hometeam discount to stay) - Again, we don't break the bank, but this guy will settle for a fair offer from the Bills, as long as we don't low ball him like Pat Williams. They guys loves it hear, and is the heart and soul of our defense, so let's keep him for another 3 or 4 years. For the cost of keeping Nate by the bonus and salary he will demand, I think we could probably keep London, and also Chris Kelsey who shouldn't break the bank either. I just don't think Nate is going to want to stay here unless we make him the highest paid corner in the league, which I don't think is reasonable to pay to 1 guy on your defense. Then we use our extra cap money in getting our offense locked up for the long term.
  8. I will be right there outside of Ralph's Stadium along with all the other bills fans gettin ready to watch us a Bills victory. Haven't been home to see a Bills game in years (although I catch em anytime they are close down in the South as I live in GA (i.e. against Atlanta, Carolina or Jax), but this should be fun. 2 of my bros are coming in to go to the game with me, and then leavin after a Bills win to spend Xmas even with the whole family back in my hometown of Rochester, NY. It doesn't get any better then that. Sad to see that the fans can't reach up and support the Bills like they have the Sabres. This is a good group of guys that Dick and Marv have put together and they could use a full stadium of Bills fans behind em. Looks like those of us who will be there will just need to be extra loud.
  9. Between that 4th and 1 call and not goin, and now that bull sh-- of 3 runs in a row, that really shows a lack of faith in the players by the coaching staff. Tells them they don't think they have a shot of winning. You gotta let the,m players have a chance to make plays Dick. THROW THE BALL 60 YARDS DOWN THE FIELD TO ANDRE DAVIS AND IF IT GETS INTERCEPTED THEN IT'S AS GOOD AS A PUNT. HELL, IT'S BETTER THE WAY MOORMAN IS PLAYING TODAY.
  10. Coaches just cost us points. This is a really disappointing way to end the half and it shoud not have been,. We gave up a chance to get some momentum and gave them the ball backl.
  11. If there is one area our coaching staf has been terrible at this year it has been time management, and I don't want to hear about the past two weeks. It would be one thing if we got the ball back after the half, but we don't. We just gave up a possesion where we had almost 3 minutes left with multiple timeouts cuz we are scared to pass the ball. I don't like our staff's lack of balls this game. Reminds me of Indianapolis where we really did not have a chance of winning, even though the score was close.
  12. Why do we always waste exorbidant amounts of time at the end of a half. are we afraid something bad is going to happen.
  13. This guy, like JP has taken a beating on this board from alot of the fans who seek to think they know more than the coaches. This is his 2nd or 3rd straight game where he has been very solid. I think what we are starting to see is the result of these guys playing enough together to where now the talent is starting to show up. In addition to the offense being brand new, so is the defense with alot of young guys. Anyways, kudos to Larry Tripplett for another outstanding game. We definitely need to improve the run defense, but even that got much better in the 2nd half. Pass rush was outstanding all day long.
  14. He really spent the whole time trying to deflect the reporters inquiries as to how he is doing better, to show how other little things that these other players are doing is helping. He mentioned that this time alot of the players acted as if they had been there before. Talked about how Fowler is helping speed up getting the linemen lined up, and Gandy is helping to keep the line pumped up when they get tired of hearing the QB's voice. He mentioned every linemen by name as to what they were doing and how they don't ever get the good publicity. Also talked about the great catch by Roscoe and how it seems like they finally are starting to see the results of the hard work. This guy is really stressing the team concept, so hopefully this is a sign of the team really rallying together.
  15. Guy just sounds like a leader in this interview. Stressing teammates, unity and everyone contributing to the win. I have a feeling this guy is going to be something special once our line starts to come together and everyone gets this offense down. We are headed in the right direction. And for LSI and Deluca, we don't want to hear anything about how you've seen enough. There is a thing called being a fan, and that means supporting the team, especially the starting QB instead of hoping they fail so you can tell everyone how right you are. THIS TEAM WOULD BE BETTER WITHOUT FANS LIKE YOU. I LIVE IN ATLANTA, BUT WILL BE UP THERE ON XMAS EVE WATCHING THE BILLS TAKE OUT THE TITANS. GO BILLS. LET'S SEE A SELLOUT NEXT WEEK. NO ON THOUGHT WE COULD STAY WITH THE COLTS, SO ON ANY GIVEN SUNDAY.
