  1. I agree, McElvin was the top corner.....Mike Jenkins was also up there. We took the best available player at a position that we needed. Good pick on the surface....many had this guy going in the top 7
  2. No, I don't get butterflies or feel like that, but I am on the edge of my seat....kinda like when Ginger would tease the Professor.....then he'd blow it and never manage to get a menage going with her and Mary Anne, and that's about as bummed as I would get.
  3. I love it!!! stands there at the 38 looking for people to hit.....runs multiple times in the opposite direction to make sure he annihilates every defender at least 3 times each great find
  4. good stuff guys I think this one fits as well http://www.gonemovies.com/WWW/Drama/Drama/...murphyChief.jpg
  5. I used to work with an old Irishman who would go out to dinner with me and never eat, just drink. The first time out I asked him why he wasn't eating, he held up his pint and said "Thar's a sandwhich in every glass"
  6. Use BZ Draft guide every year. Best one out there and it's free. Thanks!!!
  7. which would prompt Chris Berman to offer up this prior to the 3rd pick: "Tommy, I thought with the switch from 15 to 10 minutes, things would go quicker, but so far teams have taken two longs"
  8. happy to be of help. He spoke of ten minutes being an eternity when it's the team ahead of you that's on the clock, but it feeling like 45 seconds when it's your time to pick. He actually smiled and suffered a fracture of the right cheek bone, but he was unphased by this and continued the interview in stride. Basically, Bill talked about the new time limits in round 1 and 2. Round 2 is no major problem, but in Rd 1, if you are negotiating a trade, he revealed this.....are you ready???....."you gotta get it done" Gee, thanks Mr. Wizard. He also spoke of need picks being very risky. That's all from my friend Bill.
  9. I have no idea. But my friend Bill has all the answers when it comes to Draft Day. He's really familiar with watching a lot of film....I mean a LOT of film. He's a film-smith. my friend Bill http://sports.espn.go.com/broadband/video/...07&n8pe6c=2
  10. as outraged as I am that Staubach, Thurman, and Tasker (9th round Oilers) are not on the list, I am more-so appauled that Mike Williams isn't anywhere on the top 50 busts list!
  11. I am very sorry for your loss I'm dog sitting that saturday for a friend. She has flat panels in every room of her house! I will probably slap a Bills helmet on and ride a unicycle through the entire house, just because i can.
  12. biggest question is, what would you be willing to give up for him. I am not too high on him after reading that he complains about blocking too much. As for his injuries, he was injured a lot when he was primarily used as a receiving TE.
  13. I'll be looking forward to this game. Not every year my team comes to visit me in the desert
  14. I noticed that too......that he was a retard, but I'm sure he's been lauded for this by his home readers and his bosses. This is exactly how the "media" gets the snowball rolling. It won't take too long now.
  15. Seriously, I keep seeing so many preemptive hurt feelings on this board about who would be so upset if the Bills didn't draft this cat, or that cat, and who the Bills should stay away from, and who the Bills need most. It's one thing to give an opinion about who you think they will draft, or make a prediction, but to go so far as to say you'd be UPSET if we took a certain someone at 11? Really, this is ridiculous. NO ONE is going to know who is a better / worse pick right away anyway. It won't matter for a while, so relax and stop throwing a fit. Believe me, the pick is in better hands than yours....or mine. Just enjoy the draft. Don't fall in love before you get there, because you are almost certain to get your heart broken.....for a while anyway.
  16. i think the Vikings are doomed....
  17. I don't think any one knew Jerry Rice was going to be the best receiver all-time in the NFL when he was getting drafted. Same with Emmitt.
  18. i didn't say it wasn't important, i said the difference between 4.3 and 4.7 is OVERRATED in it's importance.
  19. I'm glad you did this. Lofton was actually TWICE accused of sexual assault....once in 84 and in 86. Marv brought him on board though. So, let's stop with the character stuff, especially since Marv is not even here any more.
  20. 40 times....ha! year after year, countless GM's and Scouts tell us that 40's are overrated (ESPECIALLY IF WE ARE TALKING ABOUT .3 SECONDS), and yet here we are, year after year, placing 40 times under 4.5 as the highest degree of performance evaluation. Tell me, how many people can tell the difference between .43 and .75? If you can't run a good route, can't get seperation to beat press coverage, and you can't catch the damn ball, don't have good balance, can't see all that well, are a pu$$y who's afraid to take a hit, then what good does a blink of an eye do ya? If the 4.43 is so much better than say 4.60, why the hell isn't Roscoe Parrish having a better year than Wes Welker in 07? enough with the 40 stuff.
  21. I completely disagree. I'd trade down and grab him. If he makes it by the 1st round, I'll be shocked.
  22. oh, I couldn't agree more. I would never pay for anything I could get for free somewhere else....which is purely opinion.
