The offense is scoring good without a franchise QB. Keep Lynn and offense coaches especially Kromer has done well with OL If Lynn is ok with a simple style 4-3 that's less stress then all new coaches coming in and starting over. Just keep the contract at 3 years to see if he can do it.

A meaningless game , protect Taylor from injury so they can renegotiate his contract. Get a last look at EJ to see if he can stay as a backup or even start if Taylor is let go. I would be ok with Lynn as HC , with a year to year show me contract (wishful thinking) Get a Schwartz style 4-3 D

I would short term show me contract for Lynn as HC/OC DC like Schwartz ,not complex, 4-3 Renegotiate Taylor as a bridge to develop next staring QB. TT $12-14 M base with good incentives , 2 years guaranteed.

The way he is over throwing receivers this year , and not seeing open receivers, more attempts could be brutal, as in 3 and out.

One speculation was that Marrone left because he did not get along with Whaley (and EJ as QB). So we get stuck with Rex , losing Schwartz I don't blame Sammy for the Bills not having a legit QB. If a passing team offered a 1st + for him I would take it.
