What does keeping Rex a 3rd year accomplish?
ALF replied to Yeezus's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
I have to give Rex at least 1 more year with injured players back , another draft . Denver won with a great D not because of Peyton. -
We Should Pick Up the Option on Tyrod No Matter What

My plan would be try to renegotiate Taylor's option bonus $15.5M and keep him until a draft or trade can out play him for the job. If he won't rework his contract I would let him walk and re-sign EJ till some one can out play him. That frees up cap space to get needed free agents. -

If the Bills let Taylor go , they need to re-sign EJ until they develop a new starter. I think Cardale needs at least 1 more season on the sideline unless he really impresses in preseason. -
Should we be hoping for a Clemson Collapse

In this draft analyst's opinion, I would grade Watson as a third-round pick for the 2017 NFL Draft. Watson has been off with his accuracy this year, displaying poor ball placement, especially when going downfield. He has missed a lot of potential touchdowns as a result. Watson's performance against Louisville confirmed the accuracy and ball-placement problems we've seen all season. He hasn't dominated, and his play is not that of a top quarterback prospect. All of this illustrates that Watson still has room for improvement with his field vision, ball placement, and accuracy. https://walterfootball.com/draft2017QB.php -

If Taylor still looks poor the next 4 games and will not renegotiate the $15.5M option bonus , let him go. Re-sign EJ , hope Cardale progresses, draft another QB JMO -

From the movie Whiskey Tango Foxtrot but as one young but war-weathered marine puts it: “You embrace the suck; you move the f*ck forward.” -

Looks like Bill Musgrave, Offensive coordinator for Raiders had the solution for Rex's D at halftime -

Man with rifle arrested at DC restaurant targeted by fake news conspiracy theories A North Carolina man armed with an assault rifle was arrested Sunday inside a popular Washington D.C. restaurant that became a center of conspiracy theories driven by fake news stories that went viral before the presidential election. Comet Ping Pong's owner and several employees were deluged by threats from social media users after several fake news stories claimed that Democratic presidential candidate Hillary Clinton and her campaign chief John Podesta ran a pedophilia ring out of the restaurant. The story was spread using the Twitter hashtag "Pizzagate." http://www.foxnews.com/us/2016/12/05/man-with-rifle-arrested-at-dc-restaurant-targeted-by-fake-news-conspiracy-theories.html -

San Diego Rejects Stadium Financing
ALF replied to 26CornerBlitz's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
The franchise, however, will have to pay $650 million in relocation fees, as determined in January, and also must fund construction for a new practice facility. http://www.msn.com/en-us/sports/nfl/report-chargers-expected-to-move-to-los-angeles-in-2017/ar-AAl1Wj8?li=BBmkt5R&ocid=spartanntp That relocation fee could be better used to build a new stadium in San Diego and Oakland, or just share 49er new stadium -

TE could be a option for EJ also. David Lee on with Murph said he's making good progress at QB, (not just hard count) -

Florida Panthers coach forced to wait for a taxi after team fires him 22 games into the season The Florida Panthers literally left head coach Gerard Gallant on the side of the road on Sunday night, firing him and forcing him to call his own taxi as the team bus departed for the airport without him. The dismissal came after a 3-2 loss to the Carolina Hurricanes in Raleigh, NC. This dropped the Panthers to an underwhelming 11-10-1 through the first 22 games of the NHL season. http://www.aol.com/article/sports/2016/11/28/florida-panthers-coach-forced-to-wait-for-a-taxi-after-team-fire/21615755/ -

Trump Continues Flip-flop on Most Issues "Donald Trump wants to keep Iran deal: The president-elect has come to realize that the agreement with Iran has blocked that country's pathways to a nuclear weapon. Furthermore, were the U.S. to pull out, no other country would reimpose sanctions, so it would simply hurt American business. 'I hadn't focused so much on the benefits of the deal,' Trump said." "'We HAVE been bombing the sh—t out of ISIS,' says Trump: The president-elect described a phone conversation with President Obama in which he learned that the United States and its coalition partners have conducted more than 16,000 airstrikes on the Islamic State. 'That's a lot,' said Trump, noting that in Syria, the Obama administration had been focused on defeating the Islamic State and not on deposing President Bashar Assad. 'They have been doing what I suggested all along,' he noted proudly." "Trump plans to limit deportations: The Trump administration is going to proceed slowly and carefully with the deportation of undocumented workers. 'If we deport millions of these people, industries like construction and agriculture would collapse and we would have a big recession. How does that help the American worker?' asked Trump." http://www.newsmax.com/FareedZakaria/trump-clinton-trumpcare-organization/2016/11/24/id/760547/ sorry I missed this part of the story In this spirit, let me outline a few news stories that I hope we will see over the next few weeks.

"TrumpCare will be a 'terrific' improvement on Obamacare: The Trump administration plans to propose a health care bill that will require insurance companies to enroll people with pre-existing conditions. In return, the companies will gain millions of new customers, since people will now face a mandate to buy health insurance or else face a $10,000 fine — much higher than under Obamacare. 'I figured out, like with houses or cars, insurance can't work unless we're all in,' explained the president-elect." http://www.newsmax.com/FareedZakaria/trump-clinton-trumpcare-organization/2016/11/24/id/760547/ Sorry I missed this part In this spirit, let me outline a few news stories that I hope we will see over the next few weeks.
