I doubt Romo would ok a trade to Bills. If Carson Palmer retires , Arizona could be his preference . I just would not trade a 1st rd pick for him

Taylor is a FA 9 March @4PM if the option is not exercised before then If no other team signs him the option kicks in 11 March and he stays here unless the Bills cut him first I could be wrong and usually am

yes , that is my understanding

Base salaries are what gets traded with a player. Prorated signing bonuses do not. (Romo's) his prorated signing/restructure bonuses that count for another $10.7 million. (2017) That would stay with the Cowboys after a trade. What also would stay with the Cowboys are the prorated bonus amounts for 2018 and 2019. Those total an additional $8.9 million. http://cowboyswire.usatoday.com/2016/11/15/dallas-cowboys-total-2017-salary-cap-impact-if-cowboys-trade-tony-romo-in-offseason/ If the Bills picked up Taylor option then traded him , the Bills would pay the $15.5M option bonus and count against the Bill's cap . If that happens I don't think Taylor is tradable JMO March 9 @ 4PM trades can be made http://www.nfl.com/news/story/0ap3000000677028/article/important-nfl-dates-for-201617

Romo will be 37 in April $14M in 2017 $19.5M in 2018 $20.5M in 2019 $54M total contract left , I just don't trust his health La Canfora wrote. "Romo prefers to be moved to a contending team -- specifically, the Texans, Cardinals, Broncos or Chiefs." La Canfora said the Bills are also interested in Romo, but a trade with Buffalo "might be a tough sell." http://www.abc15.com/sports/sports-blogs-local/report-arizona-cardinals-among-preferred-teams-for-cowboys-qb-tony-romo

ALF replied to 26CornerBlitz's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Taylor is fully expected to be released by Buffalo, and ESPN Bills reporter Mike Rodak reiterated it on Tuesday. ESPN Browns reporter Pat McManamon expects Cleveland to target Tyrod Taylor if he's released by the Bills. http://www.rotoworld.com/player/nfl/6509/tyrod-taylor -
The Washington Post, citing unidentified senior U.S. officials, reported that Trump cut their first call short with Prime Minister Malcolm Turnbull after the conversation turn to a deal that would allow mostly Muslim refugees rejected by Australia to be resettled in the US. Trump tweeted Wednesday night, “Do you believe it? The Obama Administration agreed to take thousands of illegal immigrants from Australia. Why? I will study this dumb deal.” http://www.foxnews.com/politics/2017/02/02/trump-reportedly-accuses-australian-pm-seeking-to-export-next-boston-bombers.html Christian persecution seen in more locations across the globe, new report shows The report comes on the heels of another study by the Center for Studies on New Religions that showed nearly 90,000 Christians were killed for their faith in 2016 and that as many as 600 million were prevented from practicing their faith through intimidation, forced conversions, bodily harm or even death. http://www.foxnews.com/world/2017/02/02/christian-persecution-seen-in-more-locations-across-globe-new-report-shows.html

With a large signing bonus spread over 5 years , his 1st year salary could be very low to fit the cap space. or 2016 tag Projected franchise tag Cornerback $13,952,000 $14,297,000 Note: Projections assume 2017 salary cap is $168 million. Buffalo Bills cornerback Stephon Gilmore seemed destined for a franchise tag prior to the start of season. It seems unnecessary now since he has been struggling with inconsistency this season. http://www.cbssports.com/nfl/news/agents-take-the-11-nfl-standouts-likely-to-get-the-dreaded-franchise-tag/

Bills Defense Shines @ Pro Bowl
ALF replied to 1st Ammendment NoMas's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
4. Bills linebacker Lorenzo Alexander (defense) and Kelce (offense) were named the most valuable players of the Pro Bowl following a pair of strong performances. Both players received new cars for their efforts. "It feels pretty good," Kelce said. "These are the moments to keep making life surreal ... It gives me a little motivation to keep striving to be the best." http://www.nfl.com/news/story/0ap3000000780593/article/what-we-learned-from-afcs-victory-in-pro-bowl -

Rapoport: Hints that Bills Are Likely to Keep Tyrod Taylor
ALF replied to 26CornerBlitz's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Taylor is a ok bridge till a better QB can be developed. If he stays use the #10 pick for a good non QB, fix the D , the offense was scoring ok. Draft a QB 2nd rd or later. -
Beijing Pushes Back on Trump Admin Over Disputed Islands
ALF replied to Meathead's topic in Politics, Polls, and Pundits
I think the islands are just a bargaining chip to get a fair trade deal passed. The islands are more of a U.N. problem to deal with JMO -

Taylor not seeing wide open receivers is scary. They are scoring ok with few turnovers. He is a bridge QB -

If Taylor will not renegotiate , draft a QB high and can afford to re-sign Robert Woods and Zach Brown. Sign a cheaper bridge QB -

His present contract does not make any sense as long as Brady is still playing. -
