The M.E. is a war between Sunni and Shia. Saddam kept them apart till his major mistake of going into Kuwait. Let Saudi , Iran and Turkey settle there battle. U.S. should try to help the Kurdish and Christians survive this mess.

$ 8M a year , would be more then the cap could handle. I would address WR and OL in the draft. Injuries sank this season.

Medical/Training staff needs to be held accountable or FIRED
ALF replied to Alphadawg7's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
This is what happens when the medical staff does not listen to Josina -
The Bills have until the end of this season to decide if Taylor is a franchise QB or they can renegotiate that contract or he can walk. It's a very safe deal for Buffalo unlike the Dareus contract.

Marquise Goodwin and Aaron William Update Thread
ALF replied to Bills Fan888's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Landry looked like he really regretted hurting Aaron. If Burfict did that , well just the opposite -
Rex should have listened to Josina, 8 carries for 11 yards to injure the hamstring worse before NE***

Injuries , good roster when healthy.
-
Without a healthy Glenn for OL and Shady , slim chance. Lucky Taylor was not hurt today.

She will win because republican primary voters chose Trump. Any republican but Trump would have won by a landslide IMO

According to one of his biographers, Trump isn’t even trying to win the election — and is instead using donors’ money to build an audience for Trump TV. “I don’t think the goal now is to win,” said Michael D’Antonio, author of “Never Enough: Donald Trump and the Pursuit of Success.” “I think the goal is to establish his media empire, and he’s building an audience on the dime of his political donors.” Trump has bragged that he has built his business using “OPM,” or “other people’s money,” and D’Antonio said that’s what he’s doing now, in the last weeks of his presidential campaign, to invest in his next venture. https://www.rawstory.com/2016/10/trump-biographer-hes-not-trying-to-win-hes-using-donors-to-build-an-audience-for-trump-tv/

When host Zakaria asked Maher what he thinks Trump will do if he loses. Maher said, “Not good things, I worry about that… He’s got his knuckle-draggers all riled up about the fact that this is a rigged election.” He also warned about just how dangerous this kind of rhetoric is and made the following prediction: “He’s got an army. Whats he gonna do with that army?… I think he’s gonna be the Che Guevara of deplorables. I think he’s gonna be a revolutionary out there. He’s gonna be a martyr to this loss… and I don’t know what they’re prepared to do. They’re already talking about things like Second Amendment solutions.” http://realtimepolitics.com/2016/10/16/bill-maher-humiliates-trump-on-live-tv-and-gives-petrifying-forecast-if-trump-loses-video/ When some of his followers say civil war if Trump loses , good grief.

Raiders looking to move to Las Vegas?
ALF replied to mellaman101's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
I would be surprised if the Raiders come up with $550M relocation fee plus there share for new stadium. If Oakland still won't give them a needed new stadium , sharing the 49er stadium would make more sense. If the league would waive the relocation fee to move to St Louis, could also be more cost effective then Vegas or LA. Mark Davis would need a very rich partner to help cover the relocation and new stadium expense IMO If they commit to Vegas would the fans in Oakland show up till that new stadium is built? -

Rob Quinn: Rex might be one of the NFL's Best Head Coaches
ALF replied to 26CornerBlitz's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
The play on the field Sunday by Buffalo’s offense drew a lot of the attention with new offensive coordinator Anthony Lynn behind some difference making adjustments in the Bills Week 3 win over Arizona. But there was a bit of a change with the way defensive calls were made in Sunday’s win as well. Instead of head coach Rex Ryan making the defensive calls, defensive coordinator Dennis Thurman was entrusted with calling the plays on defense Sunday, and the results were encouraging. So much so that Ryan intends to leave those duties in Thurman’s hands moving forward. “Dennis did a great job,” said Ryan of Thurman’s play calling Sunday. “I think we’ll do this (going forward). It’s not like we don’t have communication. We always have open lines of communication. If I was calling it or Dennis was calling it we would still be there with each other and always will be.” http://www.buffalobills.com/news/article-1/Dennis-Thurman-to-continue-handling-defensive-play-calls-/4647e345-6bec-4a2a-9938-62e9a93edf41 The only win for the Jets was against the Bills with Rex calling the D plays , hmmm -
Bills' defense keeping it simple under Dennis Thurman Gone were the exotic blitzes for which the Ryan brothers were known. No longer were the Bills gambling with fancy schemes and rolling coverages to the extreme. Instead, it became old-school, simple football. http://www.nfl.com/news/story/0ap3000000720976/article/bills-defense-keeping-it-simple-under-dennis-thurman

Some big Republican donors want RNC to cut ties with Trump Some of the Republican Party’s biggest donors have called on the Republican National Committee Thursday to sever ties with presidential nominee Donald Trump in wake of the controversy surrounding claims of sexual assault and the recent hot-mic recording of him from Access Hollywood that was leaked last week. A group of generous contributors to the GOP told The New York Times that it’s time the party stop affiliating with Trump and focus on those who represent the party’s core conservative values. “At some point, you have to look in the mirror and recognize that you cannot possibly justify support for Trump to your children — especially your daughters,” David Humphreys, a Missouri businessman who has donated more than $2 million to the Republican party since the 2012 election, told the paper. Bruce Kovner, a New York philanthropist and investor, had donated nearly $3 million to the party and echoed similar sentiments. He is a dangerous demagogue completely unsuited to the responsibilities of a United States president,” he said. “Even for loyalists, there is a line beyond which the obvious moral failings of a candidate are impossible to disregard. That line has been clearly breached.” http://www.foxnews.com/politics/2016/10/14/some-big-republican-donors-want-rnc-to-cut-ties-with-trump.html "IF" Trump were elected how could he get anything thru Congress now that he is even alienating republicans in Congress. Don't even start counting foreign leaders he is alienating with bizarre foreign policy. I get voters had enough of Washington politicians , but Trump is forcing Clinton on the country.

Dareus said Wednesday that his hamstring was still sore and stiff. He injured the leg muscle while chasing backup quarterback EJ Manuel. I don't know why that made me laugh -

Patriots QB Brady walks out of press conference after Trump question New England Patriots quarterback Tom Brady and Republican presidential nominee Donald Trump have long been considered friends. Trump has called Brady "great friends" in the past, and Brady has been caught with a "Make America Great Again" hat in his locker. Brady was asked by a reporter about Trump's "locker room" talk that was released last week ahead of the second presidential debate. http://www.foxnews.com/politics/elections/2016/events/elections-2016-live-blog

Russia, US move past Cold War to unpredictable confrontation http://www.cnn.com/2016/10/12/politics/us-russia-tensions-cold-war/index.html Just don't escalate a cyber war , that could cause widespread pain right here. Agree to a truce in that area.

I think Clinton will be 1 term unless she surprises everyone and does ok and her health recovers. Avoiding the mistakes Bill made as POTUS , they have connections, who knows. Kaine is a complete unknown to me.
