  1. He will run for re-election to the Senate in 2018. Hypothetical if he were Pres his agenda would not get by a Republican Congress hence Nov election would be more important. I can be confusing at times. I was responding to this quote by TPS In fact, in my view, trump's expansionary policy is somewhat similar to what Bernie would've done, only Bernie would've targeted the working class not Trump's class. Progressives have argued that the bargaining power of workers has been beaten down for 30+ years. The only way to support wage growth is to boost the economy when it's close to full employment (or raise the minimum wage). The problem is, as I posted before, higher wages will stoke inflationary pressures causing the Fed to raise rates higher and faster than expected, bringing about the next recession, most likely in 2019
  2. I think they keep him till Wentz is 100%. They can start restructuring other contracts now. I would not rush a valuable franchise QB back , too risky.
  3. The last admin inherited a crashed economy and 2 very expensive wars . What else could they do but massive borrowing in that situation resulting in the economy Trump inherited. Was massive borrowing needed in Clinton's 2 terms. btw I did not vote for him instead for Ross Perot. Would not have mind George H. winning re-election. Had other countries pay for most of the Gulf War.
  4. A lot depends if the tax cuts help or hurt the deficit in the long run. Like George H. Bush said , voodoo economics. Too many jobs today are min wage service sector, not high enough to pay income tax on. Never want a gov shutdown, make the deal and both sides take responsibility
  5. I would rather draft 1 QB , get a bridge QB or keep Taylor. I hope Daboll can develop Peterman instead of drafting 2 QBs. Important for any QB is a OL that can pass protect.
  6. I thought Republicans were fiscally conservative , I won't make that mistake again.
  7. Good to see Beane looks relaxed with the biggest decision at QB ahead. He must have someone in mind at this point.
  8. Massive tax cuts , massive new spending , we will see if that reduces the deficit in the long run.
  9. I would be ok with Rudolph or Jackson at 21 . If they can trade up that would be good also.
  10. It's worth talking to the Giants and Colts to see what it would take. Since they both have a franchise QB , maybe a deal could happen now (not official like A. Smith)
  11. I would give 21, 22 and a player to move up. Would hate to give up more then that.

  14. Yes , there was a way to serve as a conscientious objector . I had no problem with that what so ever. I was against the war so I went in the Navy for 6 years during Nam, safe on a ship. Those who died I cry every Memorial Day , I was not brave enough.
  15. As a veteran I would rather see that expense be given to the VA ,if Trump wants to honor veterans. Trump had exemptions from Nam and none of his sons served , what a patriotic family, not.
  16. Intentional Scouting Episode Four: Mason Rudolph During his time as a 3-year starter for the Cowboys, Rudolph was one of the more dynamic down-field throwers in the country amassing over 13,000 career passing yards. Add in a stellar 4:1 touchdown to interception ratio for his career and you can see why NFL teams are doing their homework on the 6’5, 230-pound signal caller. In his latest mock draft, Trapasso had the Bills selecting Rudolph with the 21st overall pick and suggested the Bills might stay put and get a guy that, “checks all the boxes.” http://www.wgr550.com/articles/intentional-scouting-episode-four-mason-rudolph
  17. Buffalo Bills' Zay Jones played through torn labrum, says father Robert Jones Jones revealed that his son played with a torn labrum for the majority of the season. "Here's a guy that's going into surgery on Tuesday to get his shoulder repaired and people hardly knew that he played the entire season with, you know, a torn labrum. So how would you like sitting around and you're going to grab a glass of water and your arm falls out of its socket?" http://www.newyorkupstate.com/buffalo-bills/index.ssf/2018/01/buffalo_bills_zay_jones_played_through_torn_labrum_says_father_robert_jones.html Jan 13 Not sitting Eric after his 1st stinger that should have been the end of his career , now Zay , what the heck is the medical staff doing ?
  18. Wonder if the 3 coaches McDaniels wanted hired in Indy still stay. Indy is shaky at best.
  19. Daboll is better suited with a drafted QB and Peterman then Dennison. One less worry now whoever they draft. If only Castillo could use the OL like Kromer did and use Miller again . Glenn needs to be 100% for 2018 also .
  20. Well I guess Terry could sweeten Frazier's contract like Kraft did to Josh. I sorta feel sorry for Indy fans , what a great stadium. Oh well they have the combine to look forward to.
  21. After burning Colts, Josh McDaniels can wave bye-bye to any head coaching job outside New England Now McDaniels’ forever stamps his résumé with a batch of scarlet A’s: Arrogant, Abysmal, Abortive – and at least one other A-word that is too explicit for this space. That’s how this moment will go down in history: As a universal embarrassment for all involved, from McDaniels to the Colts to the NFL https://sports.yahoo.com/josh-mcdaniels-petulant-move-jilting-colts-provides-cautionary-tale-31-nfl-teams-060451467.html Since the Patriots’ loss in Sunday’s Super Bowl, according to a report by ESPN's Adam Schefter, Patriots owner Robert Kraft began wooing McDaniels to stay in New England, “sweetening his contract. after arranging to fly Wednesday morning from Boston to Indianapolis on Jim Irsay’s jet to be introduced at an afternoon news conference, Josh McDaniels backed out. https://www.indystar.com/story/sports/nfl/colts/2018/02/06/report-josh-mcdaniels-backs-out-deal-coach-colts/313588002/
  22. Hope he is still there in the 2nd rd.
  23. Really appreciate your Leroi connection just hope this is sarcasm. If you are young no problem.
  24. Wow just wow , by far the worst 1/2 time show of all time. (I'm old , I don't know what the younger gen thought)
  25. Dorsey will ace this draft especially the QB position.
