  1. I still hope Browns make Cousins a offer he can't refuse and take Barkley #1. Playing in a new dome for a playoff team would be very hard to pass up. Frees up their other QBs , Bridgewater might not be a FA though.
  2. If the Bills could trade up with 21,22 , maybe a player but not next year's 1st would be ok. Depends where Viking QBs and Cousins land.
  3. If they cut or trade Taylor the Bills will have to sign another bridge QB . Just Hoping Peterman will make progress does not make him the starting QB The theory is they will draft a QB with future starting potential or a Viking FA that can start.
  4. The Bills last playoff win was 30 Dec 1995 that's what ridiculous. A better draft position while rebuilding instead of 8 or 9 wins won't hurt long term at this point.
  5. I would be ok with a cheaper Fitz (just no long throws) , hope Peterman might start , sit a drafted QB . Depends on Vikings QBs also in free agency. I'm just ready to move on from Taylor, he might have a long career as a backup . As long as the drafted QB has good potential not worried about making the playoffs in 2018.
  6. As long as the Bills draft a QB better then or equal to Mahomes and Watson .
  7. With $26.5M guaranteed he is now set for life , he can relax even if St Doug yells at him.
  8. I agree, it will backfire on the Democrats. I could not believe they did not take that deal .
  9. I've watched his interview , you can tell he is from a humble background , very respectful , wears a big crucifix. I will bet he will work hard to be successful. I hope he has a good career , rooting for him. The junior quarterback ran a 4.34-second 40 , wow https://www.courier-journal.com/story/sports/college/louisville/2017/03/09/lamar-jackson-runs-40-yard-dash/98930194/
  10. Sources: Coral Springs police upset at some Broward deputies for not entering school When Coral Springs police officers arrived at Marjory Stoneman Douglas High School in Parkland, Florida, on February 14 in the midst of the school shooting crisis, many officers were surprised to find not only that Broward County Sheriff's Deputy Scot Peterson, the armed school resource officer, had not entered the building, but that three other Broward County Sheriff's deputies were also outside the school and had not entered, Coral Springs sources tell CNN. Some Coral Springs police were stunned and upset that the four original Broward County Sheriff's deputies who were first on the scene did not appear to join them as they entered the school, Coral Springs sources tell CNN. It's unclear whether the shooter was still in the building when they arrived. The resentment among Coral Springs officials toward Broward County officials about what they perceived to be a dereliction of duty may have reached a boiling point at a vigil the night of February 15, where, in front of dozens of others, Coral Springs City Manager Mike Goodrum confronted Broward County Sheriff Scott Israel. https://www.cnn.com/2018/02/23/politics/parkland-school-shooting-broward-deputies/index.html
  11. Good exchange , I did learn more today , thanks , really
  12. The nuclear option (or constitutional option) is a parliamentary procedure that allows the United States Senate to override a rule – specifically the 60-vote rule to close debate – by a simple majority of 51 votes, rather than the two-thirds supermajority normally required to amend the rules. The option is invoked when the majority leader raises a point of order that only a simple majority is needed to close debate on certain matters. The presiding officer denies the point of order based on Senate rules, but the ruling of the chair is then appealed and overturned by majority vote, establishing new precedent. This procedure effectively allows the Senate to decide any issue by simple majority vote, regardless of existing procedural rules such as Rule XXII which requires the consent of 60 senators (out of 100) to end a filibuster for legislation, and 67 for amending a Senate rule. The term "nuclear option" is an analogy to nuclear weapons being the most extreme option in warfare. The nuclear option has only been used in practice twice. In November 2013, Senate Democrats used the nuclear option to eliminate the 60-vote rule on executive branch nominations and federal judicial appointments other than those to the Supreme Court. In April 2017, Senate Republicans used the nuclear option to eliminate the exception for Supreme Court nominees, after the nomination of Neil Gorsuch failed to meet the requirement of 60 votes for ending the debate https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Nuclear_option
  13. I like to watch Smerconish on CNN Chris Wallace on FOX Brian Williams on MSNBC A lot of internet websites and fact check sites Never just left or right alone
  14. Elaborate , I know about the deep state, but they do not vote on bills. I'm trying to understand
  15. Reality is the Republicans control Congress and the WH . I hate partisan politics , the pendulum going from left to right just canceling each other out. I want bipartisan - statesmen to do what is right for the entire country not special interest groups. That's why I'm a Independent
  16. Trump appointed the Attorney General and FBI Director , they are welcome to go after Clinton , Obama , Rice anyone they think broke the law.
  17. I'm fine for drafting Mayfield. The Bills having some good character players is a nice bonus.
  18. New indictment accuses Manafort of paying European politicians The new indictment came less than two hours after Gates pleaded guilty to two criminal charges in federal court and pledged to cooperate with special counsel Robert Mueller's investigation of Russia and the 2016 presidential election. In total, Manafort now faces five federal criminal charges in Washington, including money laundering and foreign lobbying violations, and 18 federal charges in Virginia, largely related to alleged bank fraud. https://www.cnn.com/2018/02/23/politics/manafort-mueller/index.html
  19. We will see what someone might offer for Taylor a safe backup , or the Bills keep him or release by March 16 . Depends what happens in early free agency .
  20. He is a diva who will want a big contract after next season. I want to see how a healthy Zay Jones is after his surgery. Draft a WR in 2019 if necessary , and how KB pans out healthy also. If Jordan Matthews could be re-signed for a reasonable price I would like that also. Good character players.
  21. Always enjoy Greg Cosell's insight every friday with Murph. Really nice guy , humble Howard's nephew.
  22. Pre combine I like Lamar Jackson or Mason Rudolph at 21 . Luke Falk or Mike White in 2nd rd . Might mean Peterman to PS Trade up is hard to predict with so many teams needing a QB. That's why taking 2 QBs might be the way to go.
  23. What is Rosen's view , I love the Pegulas
  24. If the Bills cant't trade up , I'm ok with Jackson , Rudolph or Allen if still there at 21. Luke Falk or Mike White in 2nd rd
