One-third of migrants in caravan are being treated for health issues, Tijuana health official says Migrants who came with the caravan are suffering from respiratory infections, tuberculosis, chickenpox and other serious health issues, Tijuana's Health Department warned on Thursday morning. The spokesman told Fox News that out of 6,000 migrants currently residing in the city, over a third of them (2,267) are being treated for health-related issues. There are three confirmed cases of tuberculosis, four cases of HIV/AIDS and four separate cases of chickenpox, the spokesman said. At least 101 migrants have lice and multiple instances of skin infections, the department’s data shows. https://www.foxnews.com/world/caravan-migrants-suffer-from-respiratory-infections-tuberculosis-chickenpox-other-health-issues-tijuana-government-says -

Jesse Ventura: Donald Trump 'will not have a chance' if I run for president "I haven't made a decision yet because it's a long time off, but if I do do it, rest assured ... If I do do it, Trump will not have a chance," Ventura, 67, told TMZ on Tuesday. "Because for one, Trump knows wrestling — he's participated in two WrestleManias. He knows he can never out-talk a wrestler, and I am the greatest talker wrestling's ever had. So if I go for it, he's history and he knows it." https://www.foxnews.com/entertainment/jesse-ventura-donald-trump-will-not-have-a-chance-if-i-run-for-president ? -
Why Ukraine-Russia sea clash is fraught with risk Under the terms of a 2003 agreement, the Azov sea, and its access point through the Kerch Strait is supposed to be shared by Ukraine and Russia. It worked, up to a point. Then in 2014 Russia seized Crimea and the dynamic changed. The Kerch Strait was no longer flanked by the Russian authorities to the east, and the Ukrainians in the west. The straits were now fully under Moscow's control, and the Russians had big plans. Cargo ships that wanted to reach Ukraine's Azov ports now found themselves subject to more inspections and lengthy delays that sometimes stretched to a week. Ukraine began complaining that it was facing an economic blockade, and that Russia was in breach of the 2003 "sharing" agreement. https://www.bbc.com/news/world-europe-46345853

GM Cutting Over Fourteen Thousand Jobs
ALF replied to Warren Zevon's topic in Politics, Polls, and Pundits
GM will no longer make these 6 cars Buick LaCrosse , Cadillac CT6 , Cadillac XTS , Chevrolet Cruze , Chevrolet Impala , Chevrolet Volt January - September sales: 109,662, down 26.5% Chevy Cruze The bestselling Chevy sedan, the Cruze is highly regarded among auto reviewers and enthusiasts. The Cruze was the "Consumer Reports" top pick for compact cars last year. It was beat out by the Toyota Corolla and a handful of other small cars this year, and sales have disappointed. https://www.cnn.com/2018/11/26/business/gm-cars-dropping-production/index.html It's hard for the Cruze to compete with cheaper imports. The profit margin was just too small. -
Sky-high prices for air ambulances hurt those they are helping "But he was told that [the air ambulance] was necessary. They never told him why it was necessary or how much it cost, but they insisted I had to go by air ambulance," Anderson said. "But it's so odd there is nothing in the record that indicated it was time-sensitive or that I needed to be airlifted." For that one helicopter ride, to a hospital farther away in Bismarck, records show that Valley Med Flight charged Anderson $54,727.26. Sanford Health Plan, her insurance, paid $13,697.73. That left Anderson with a $41,029.53 bill. https://www.cnn.com/2018/11/26/health/air-ambulance-high-price/index.html

California wildfires: Finland bemused by Trump raking comment (he also bemuses me) Finns have been baffled by US President Donald Trump's comments praising the country for managing its vast forests by raking. Citing a conversation with his Finnish counterpart, Mr Trump said they spend "a lot of time on raking and cleaning". But President Sauli Niinisto told a Finnish daily he could not remember talking about raking when the two met. https://www.bbc.com/news/world-europe-46256296 Finland has a different climate without Santa Ana and Diablo winds

Scott wins vs Nelson , but Broward County was unusual in that it had reported more than 30,400 of the undercount ballots. If they were not miscounted, then the most likely explanation was that they were in fact left blank, possibly because of the way the ballot was designed, with the Senate choices on the bottom left corner of the page, tucked beneath the voter instructions. Many have said it made the Senate race easy to miss. https://www.nytimes.com/2018/11/16/us/rick-scott-bill-nelson-recount.html -

Another extreme risk area where they rebuild . I don't see how to countermeasure the effects of Santa Ana and Diablo winds acting like a blowtorch. -
NFL still set on Chiefs-Rams game in Mexico City despite field concerns The issue is that soccer games and concerts have left the field a mess. The teams are aware of the situation, and the NFLPA is concerned and has been monitoring it closely. http://www.espn.com/nfl/story/_/id/25262147/nfl-determined-play-kansas-city-chiefs-los-angeles-rams-game-mexico-city-field-concerns

What is better, no guns, or more guns?
ALF replied to Security's topic in Politics, Polls, and Pundits
Officer shoots, kills armed security guard outside south suburban bar After security asked a group of drunk men to leave Manny’s Blue Room Bar around 4 a.m. Sunday, witnesses say someone came back with a gun and opened fire. Security returned fire, and according to witnesses, 26-year-old armed security guard Jemel Roberson apprehended one of the men involved outside. "He had somebody on the ground with his knee in back with his gun in his back like, 'don’t move,'" witness Adam Harris said. Soon after, witnesses say an officer responding to the shooting fired at Roberson after arriving on the scene. "Everybody was screaming out, 'he was a security guard,' and they basically saw a black man with a gun and killed him," Harris said. Friends say Roberson was an upstanding guy who was also a musician, playing keyboard and drums at several Chicago-area churches, who had plans to become a police officer. https://wgntv.com/2018/11/11/multiple-wounded-in-robbins-bar-shooting-police-say/ Security guards need to wear a uniform to avoid this tragedy . The problem is still for armed civilians in situations like this -
Start Josh Allen (healthy) or Matt Barkley?
ALF replied to TonyBeets's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
If Allen is 100% recovered I would play him only if the OL can play like against the Jets. I sure hope Barkley is the answer for a good backup or dare I hope a starter here or good trade value in the future. -

Who has the best stadium in the NFL?
ALF replied to Victory Formation's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
This would be a good poll question. A number of Bill's fans travel to other stadiums. Most of us just see what's on TV.
