Just amazing how hard he can throw. Have to find receivers who can catch that kind of pass.

Why are they trying to get rid of her? They don't like the deal she has struck with the EU, which they say will keep the UK tied to the EU indefinitely with no say over its rules and unable to strike trade deals around the world. Anger has focused on the so-called "backstop" to prevent the return of a physical border in Northern Ireland. Mrs May has said she is seeking guarantees that this clause will be "temporary" but the Democratic Unionist Party, which she relies on to win key votes, wants the backstop to be ditched altogether. And her Conservative critics think she will not be able to get anything more than cosmetic changes to her withdrawal deal because EU leaders say it can not be renegotiated. https://www.bbc.com/news/uk-politics-46535739

I support a wall backed up by electronic surveillance . I support legal immigration and work permits as needed. The $5B now and then more to finish the wall should come from less tax cuts not more borrowing. jmo

I can't even imagine that the former Director of the FBI James Comey would steer me wrong. I also trust a very intelligent and respected Republican, former Secretary of State Rex Tillerson. ? -
Democratic 2020 Presidential Primary Thread
ALF replied to snafu's topic in Politics, Polls, and Pundits
Comey calls on Americans to 'use every breath we have' to oust Trump in 2020 Former FBI Director James Comey asked American voters Sunday night to end Donald Trump's presidency with a "landslide" victory for his opponent in 2020. "All of us should use every breath we have to make sure the lies stop on January 20, 2021," Comey told an audience at the 92nd Street Y on New York City's Upper East Side. He all but begged Democrats to set aside their ideological differences and nominate the person best suited to defeating Trump in an election. "I understand the Democrats have important debates now over who their candidate should be," Comey told MSNBC's Nicolle Wallace, "but they have to win. They have to win." https://www.cnn.com/2018/12/09/politics/james-comey-donald-trump-2020/index.html -

I'm ok with a better draft position. Showing problem areas at this point so they can be addressed off season. -
Donald J. Trump ✔@realDonaldTrump “Democrats can’t find a Smocking Gun tying the Trump campaign to Russia after James Comey’s testimony. No Smocking Gun...No Collusion.” @FoxNews That’s because there was NO COLLUSION. So now the Dems go to a simple private transaction, wrongly call it a campaign contribution,... 31.7K 6:46 AM - Dec 10, 2018

The Fifth Risk by Michael Lewis Many of the people who are working in government are highly educated, including scientists and management experts. They are the ones dealing with crucial issues such as climate change and cancer. Author Michael Lewis tells stories of how departments are being mismanaged by inept Trump appointees who are unprepared to take over. The appointees are inept, motivated by greed, have anti-government beliefs and are largely scientifically ignorant. What happens to a nation that is mismanaged? https://www.amazon.com/Fifth-Risk-Michael-Lewis/dp/1324002646/ref=sr_1_1?s=books&ie=UTF8&qid=1544370669&sr=1-1&keywords=michael+lewis+the+fifth+risk Seen this interview on Fareed Zakaria , it was very scary to say the least.

Is Brian Daboll a HC candidate in Green Bay?
ALF replied to Kirby Jackson's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
I would think the choice would be up to Rodgers. -
Shady needs a better OL . He tried to get Richie to return. McCoy is still a very good receiver with this roster.

Amazing he can outrun that defense for 90 yards at 33.

I just thought it was Scott Adams offbeat way of saying bullying is a problem.

Allen's Last Pass (12/2): Bad Pass or Drop?
ALF replied to Gugny's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
If Allen had better pass protection , Clay was wide open. Good call by Daboll , and it knocked him down , he really cares. Fixing a OL is about as hard as finding a good QB. Having the right OL coach would also help. -

Ukraine-Russia sea clash: Poroshenko urges Nato to send ships Nato has expressed "full support" for Ukraine, which is not a member state. In the interview with Bild, Mr Poroshenko said Vladimir Putin wanted "nothing less than to occupy the [Azov] sea". "Germany is one of our closest allies and we hope that states within Nato are now ready to relocate naval ships to the Sea of Azov in order to assist Ukraine and provide security," he said. https://www.bbc.com/news/world-europe-46381166
