Oddly designed play. The pursuit basically led the DLine running right towards Josh. If you're going to try something like that, have Cook in the backfield for a reverse to Samuel, then flea flicker. That way the pursuit actually has to change directions and there's more eye candy. Way higher chance of success. Also side note. If they're trying to find ways to get Samuel in the game plan, why not get him going on some jet sweeps/more quick screens. Seems like those would be things he excels at.

Daquan has been decent. He's not the force he was 2 years ago. Hopefully Carter ends up being a good one. But like Oliver, he's on the smaller side. I would think with smaller faster LBs, you would want big DTs to gobble up blockers. I was really hoping there was a way we could land T'Vondre Sweat in the draft... We need to get beefier in the middle. That would help deep in the playoffs where we always seem to get bodied around my a physical game plan.
