  1. We just have to take care of our business. Not sure if this staff can close out a game when it matters though.
  2. Do away with these lawyers and bankers being refs. Get former players out there. Trained, of course. They understand the game on another level. They wouldn't be calling this ticky tack stuff that has no impact on the play.
  3. There were some Philly fans where I watched the game and they were literally laughing at how much favoritism they got from the refs. They were saying how untouchable they are with that crew and to always bet on them when Hochuli calls the game.
  4. He’s a good coach for sure. Not questioning that. Just saying he’s not that young or offensive minded like the OP said.
  5. Tomlin ain’t that young or that offensive minded…
  6. Terrible choice to use a TO there. Let them rush into the kick and save the timeout so we can at least TRY for a FG with 30 seconds left. Did McD not learn anything from 13 seconds…
  7. This might be the worst called game I’ve ever seen in my life.
  8. I don't think they've been stopped with 1 yard to go when using this play so far. Basically undefendable. A HUGE advantage that you're guaranteed a 1st down whenever you face 3rd or 4th and short. But there HAS to be a way.. right? The best way I can think to battle that play would be come up with a whole new different defensive front. You need to get as big and as strong as possible. Leave the normal goal line DLine in. But sub out LB's and put Torrence and Dawkins in. And have them right on the butts of the DT. And when the ball is snapped they just plow into the pile and try and push it back or create a roadblock of sorts. Almost like a reverse tug of war... A push of war? And once you've stalemated the push, you can have guys jumping over the pile, like you see now, and try and drag Hurts down. To stop something innovative like their version of the Qb sneak, you need to be innovative yourself. Could this work? Does anyone have any other ideas?
  9. What a draft pick. Funny thing is, just about no one saw that pick coming. I think maybe one person predicted that we might draft him and he got flamed hard 😆
  10. Honestly if we can't beat Philly, KC or Dallas what's the point of the post season?
  11. The solution is quite easy and I’ve been saying this forever. ONLY CALL BLATANT PENALTIES. if it’s even a little bit close, a shred of doubt don’t call it. But call it the same way for both sides. They literally could drop a flag on about 90% of plays, for one thing or another with how ticky tacky they call it now. But it ruins the game. Someone is getting hosed and the game flow is jacked up and the game is difficult to watch. Just throw WAY les flags and it will be 10x better and more enjoyable. Less flags == Less room for error.
  12. The dude is really good. Sticky coverage, good instincts. Plays the run well also. I'm kind of shocked that I hadn't heard of him before. Hopefully he can remain solid for us for a few years.
  13. I have never seen a team kick themselves in the nuts repeatedly as this team does.
  14. see you guys next year. i can't with these jokers anymore
  15. was there ever a question how this was going to end?
  16. This is the least clutch defense i have ever seen
