  1. By Kevin Patra Around the NFL Writer Published: May 20, 2019 at 09:01 a.m. Pete Carroll would like to stuff the genie back into the bottle. The Seattle Seahawks head coach wants to return to the days before instant replay, or at least lessen the amount replay is used. Peter King, in his Football Morning In America column this week, polled 25 people asking one thing they'd like to change about football. Carroll suggested killing instant replay. "Get rid of -- or at least decrease the use of -- instant replay," Carroll said. "I get all the reasons why we have instant replay, and technology has opened up a new world for us to get to this point. But I miss the human element of trusting the officials to make the calls in the moment and then the rest of us having to live with what they called. It was both fun and frustrating, but I really liked the game better when the officials were just as much a part of the game as the players." http://www.nfl.com/news/story/0ap3000001031249/article/pete-carroll-nfl-should-decrease-use-of-instant-replay
  2. The Bills have a history of doing the same. You can't dump players or fire everyone without effecting the stability of the franchise. Used to drive me crazy. Hopefully those days are over... ..
  3. If Josh Allen attempted to squeeze the ball into a tight window last year, the biggest concern today would be too many INTS "Why didn't he just throw the ball away?" ...
  4. Buffalo Bills quarterback Josh Allen took big steps forward during his rookie season but there is one thing he failed to do much, throw into tight coverage. Allen impressed with his big arm but when there was a tight window he backed away from the opportunity and would either throw it away or check it down to someone more open. After the Bills’ Week 16 loss to the Patriots, Allen explained why he had such a big issue throwing into such tight windows. “It’s all about timing, trust and the relationship that you have with the guys out there,” Allen said via The Athletic. “We’re still relatively new with each other. To go through and play games like that and have opportunities that were so close but slip away, it definitely gives us confidence as we move forward. We’ll work on them and clean those things up, and in no time we’ll be completing those — having trust on depth, on timing in my drop and expecting guys to be where they are and they’re going to be there.” https://clutchpoints.com/bills-news-josh-allen-discusses-why-he-rarely-threw-into-tight-coverages-in-the-2018-season/
