Daniel Jeremiah: "Bills more than open to trading back"
HOUSE replied to Alphadawg7's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
oh the humanity -
I hate the later rounds when Mel Kiper is grading each team ( bragging about the team that used his draft guide) and we are forced to watch the Bills selections scroll across the bottom of the screen. Can we please just announce every player drafted and save the commentary for Monday? ..

Today 3:27 PM Getty Images ORCHARD PARK, NY - NOVEMBER 25: Josh Allen #17 of the Buffalo Bills celebrates a running touchdown during the fourth quarter against the Jacksonville Jaguars at New Era Field on November 25, 2018 in Orchard Park, New York. Buffalo defeats Jacksonville 24-21. (Photo by Brett Carlsen/Getty Images) By Ryan Talbot | rtalbot@nyup.com Mel Kiper Jr. believes the Buffalo Bills could shock the NFL world in 2019. Kiper appeared on One Bills Live on Friday and was asked which team could be the surprise team of the league following the 2019 NFL Draft. After discussing a few possibilities, Kiper turned his attention to Buffalo. According to Kiper, the key for the Bills is to build around Josh Allen. General manager Brandon Beane has already added new weapons in the passing game like John Brown, Cole Beasley and Tyler Kroft. He also went out and signed multiple linemen to compete for jobs in front of the second-year QB. That said, a young quarterback can never have enough weapons or protection in front of him. “In terms of a team getting better, I’ll go right to the Buffalo Bills," Kiper said. “Support Josh (Allen). Josh Allen proved he could be a big-time quarterback. He made plays last year and I watched every snap he took. I watched throws that were great throws called back for penalties on successive plays and they put him way behind the chains. I watched dropped passes put them in bad down and distance situations. I saw him compete. I saw him do things that other quarterbacks, even veterans, couldn’t do. Athletically, competitiveness is phenomenal. The arm, we know he has. Some of the layups, for whatever reason, he’ll just miss a few of those throws that make you scratch your head a little bit. But if he can just even things out a bit, keep working –which he will—I think the Buffalo Bills… People are just sleeping on the Buffalo Bills for some reason.” https://www.newyorkupstate.com/buffalo-bills/2019/04/buffalo-bills-could-be-surprise-team-of-the-nfl-this-season-says-mel-kiper-jr.html

Buffalo Bills targeting Houston’s Ed Oliver at No. 9 overall, says B/R’s Matt Miller Today 11:19 AM AP Photo By Ryan Talbot | rtalbot@nyup.com Who will the Buffalo Bills select at No. 9 in the 2019 NFL Draft? That’s the million dollar question with less than one week remaining until the start of the draft. Bills GM Brandon Beane has not tipped his hand and has continually said that Buffalo will take the best player available. That could lead Buffalo in multiple directions, but Bleacher Report’s Matt Miller is hearing that the Bills are targeting Houston defensive tackle Ed Oliver with their No. 9 pick. https://www.newyorkupstate.com/buffalo-bills/2019/04/buffalo-bills-targeting-houstons-ed-oliver-at-no-9-overall-says-brs-matt-miller.html

This draft is custom made for Buffalo. Some great talent should be available at #9 and we don't need a QB and we don't have a long list of needs I am excited to fill out the roster with some younger up and coming players If Brandon Beane can sniff out a few more Matt Milanos, we are in great shape ..

If anyone can explain how Aaron Maybin was the BPA I would love to see the explanation I will just wait here ...

Why I think T.J. Hockenson, TE Iowa, will be the #9 pick
HOUSE replied to Inigo Montoya's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
I should add drafting both Hockinson and Metcalf is not impossible. Would probably require a #2 & #3 to move up for an additional 1st rounder. Probably won't happen but it could .. -
One week before the draft, and Beane hasn't made one deal

This sounds serious, maybe another Rugby player can tide us over till draft night -

Never look directly at the schedule. Hide it in the attic with the Christmas lights. You are fine after December first. Looking early leads to wild predictions you will regret later... ..
