is jonathan williams next? - update: now cut
What a Tuel replied to ronnieroscoe's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Hissy fit? Why should we trust that Beane and McDermott know what they are doing any more than Whaley did? How do we know they aren't worse? The young talent on the team is getting systematically eliminated. Whether you think that young talent should be replaced or not is irrelevant when they aren't replacing the young talent as they go. Trading a "broken" wide receiver for a player who is injured more than said broken receiver. (Watkins wasn't broken) Trading a young CB for a #2 WR who is going to "cost too much to sign" next year. Trading Ragland that cost us #2 and two #4s for a #4 pick the next year. Cutting a back-up running back who impressed in the preseason on a run heavy team that is screwed if McCoy gets hurt now. Something tells me I am not going to look back at these moves and say "wow, those moves really opened it up for the Bills to replace these guys with better players using worse draft picks" Believe it or not, but McDermott and Beane can be worse. Yes time will tell for sure. -

This exactly. Sure you don't like Whaley, but we can surely be worse off after this regime gets through with us. -

Its like they have a vendetta against any Whaley pick. Its absurd. The guy looked great in preseason. -
National Anthem (Cameron Jefferson)
What a Tuel replied to bmur66's topic in Politics, Polls, and Pundits
They didn't do any other culturally significant names though. It was solely white vs black. If American vs Eastern European sounding name has the same issue, would you admit that there's a variable here that may not be racism? -

I don't see that in the study you linked. Its all a sensitive and extremely subjective topic. Let's say I don't like the name Benjamin. I have no rational reason. I see it and I dislike it. Maybe subconciously I would give a Benjamin less slack or less thought than I would say James. That doesn't mean there is some underlying hatred of Benjamins. I just don't like the name Benjamin. Do you think this doesn't happen between white names? Bertha? Bartholomew? -

Cultural familiarity is not racism. I would pick James over Johanes or Svetlana every time. -

The backlash was related to Kaepernick's commentary, and then people started choosing a side and the line became blurred. I think Kaepernick sitting and then saying the following was using the national anthem, and the NFL as a pedestal to push an agenda that isn't remotely true of the country or of the police. That is originally why people were upset. Then it started getting all messy. "I am not going to stand up to show pride in a flag for a country that oppresses black people and people of color," Kaepernick told NFL Media in an exclusive interview after the game. "To me, this is bigger than football and it would be selfish on my part to look the other way. There are bodies in the street and people getting paid leave and getting away with murder." -

Andrew Luck not ready to start regular season
What a Tuel replied to YoloinOhio's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
They went 6-3 in that time against Titans 3-13 (Win), Dolphins 6-10 (Win), Texans 9-7 (Loss), Jaguars 5-11 (Loss), Steelers 10-6 (Loss), Bucs 6-10 (Win), Falcons 8-8 (Win), Texans 9-7 (Win), Jaguars 5-11 (Win). Luck went 2-5 in that time against Bills 8-8 (Loss), Jets 10-6 (Loss), Titans 3-13 (Win), Patriots 12-4 (Loss), Saints 7-9 (Loss), Panthers 15-1 (Loss), Broncos 12-4 (Win). I don't know what that means, but there it is. Pick at it. -

This is why the fans think they can run the organization easily, but would make the same silly mistakes. Their ineptitude just fades into obscurity in an instant. -
[closed]I was late for a meeting today
What a Tuel replied to Dragonborn10's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
He is competent at his job though. It's like firing your lead sales person because he is late. Maybe you get rid of the problem of being late and the junior sales people work slightly harder, but you sell a whole lot less stuff. I mean is there an epidemic of players mimicking Dareus's behavior? Why are we making the Bills a worse team just to spite someone that's behavior seems to have minimal impact? Take corrective action against Dareus to try and correct the issue absolutely, but boot him out? Nonsense. -
Richie tried to fight Marcell in Baltimore
What a Tuel replied to CuddyDark's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Huh. What I heard was Dareus was getting into Tyrod's face about not being a franchise QB. Dareus punched Tyrod who ended up with a concussion and Richie squared off to fight Dareus. Bills tried to cover it all up by playing Tyrod until he got a concussion "in the game". I call it punchgate. -
Andrew Luck not ready to start regular season

The reason the Colts aren't good with Luck isn't because of the cap. Its because they have been bad at drafting, and have made stupid trades. -
Ragland traded to KC for 4th round 2019 pick
What a Tuel replied to MAJBobby's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Exactly. People act like it was cut him or trade him to the lowest bidder. The guy is just coming back from a major injury. No need to rush it and get rid of him cheap. -

It doesn't matter. You deal with the guy or get more for him. It is a ridiculous trade. Edit: A ridiculous trade to a team we want to do poorly this year. -

Geez. How can they possibly justify that? -
What pick do you have? What type of league?
What a Tuel replied to Canadian Bills Fan's topic in Fantasy Football
How do you guys do your Keeper league? We did a 1 keeper this year. Lose the round you picked them in or a 10th rounder for free agents. Do you pick the draft order before or after keepers are turned in? -

Enough complaining that Watkins was drafted 4th....
What a Tuel replied to Billsfan1972's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Yes, health is a factor that should be considered but the lot of you utilize it as Watkins being defective when in reality, he needs to heal up and that's it. Beckham has been injured quite frequently as well. He had the luck of having it in at the right times and minor enough to still play. http://sportsinjurypredictor.com/player/odell-beckham-jr/6942 http://sportsinjurypredictor.com/player/sammy-watkins/6937 -

Top 15 if not top 10. Matthews by comparison I would probably put in 30-40 range.
