  1. Its safe to say they didn't do well right? I mean all this "hurr hurr hurr, NE has the best Buffalo players" was a little premature, right?
  2. Haha. I am just as happy. Just hope its for real this time. Plus I want to say the Chiefs weren't as good that year despite the blowout. Ended up with Pick 18 that year.
  3. Does no one remember 2014? Pats got destroyed by the Chiefs and we got all of this talk. Pats end up going 12-4 and winning the Super Bowl.
  4. Thank god. I thought this schedule was gonna be a parting gift for Brady's career. "historic undefeated season"
  5. Its a long season.
  6. I am playing against Hunt and Hill. Have Brady. I don't know whether to laugh or cry.
  7. I can't imagine you guys would be super excited for Barnyard running in 3 tds from the 1-2 yard line.
  8. Humiliated? Gilmore got burned on a 75 yard TD. Hogan has 3 catches 17 yards. Gillislee has 3 tds from the 2 and 1 yard line. Give me a break.
  9. Next week itll be White or Lewis.
  10. That's cause I kept him in my keeper league! Your welcome!
  11. Anyone post this yet? https://www.yahoo.com/sports/ray-lewis-colin-kaepernicks-girlfriend-cost-job-baltimore-130747089.html Kaepernick is pretty much unemployable at this point so long as he continues to not be very good, and his girlfriend keeps insulting and belittling people trying to get him a job. Calling Ray Lewis a slave to the Ravens organization? FFS, that is a potential employer you are talking to, you twat.
  12. Not worth the money does not help the Bills in any way. It means they couldn't make it work with the players when they were cheap, so now they won't pay for them, back to the drawing board. It isn't a good thing for the team. Good decision financially for some yeah, but it doesn't make the team better. That's just my opinion though.
  13. Basic facts? You mean opinions. No I wouldn't pay ALL of those guys. The point was they let go of all of them. You might be right about Darby, and Gaines may be good but he was more injured than Watkins. Why that is a notch against Watkins but not for the Gaines acquisition is beyond me. Matthews is a good #2, but he has likely hit his ceiling, and now we may be asking him to do something that may not fit what gave him success in Philly. Watkins was a much better WR when he was on the field. Ragland was more of a waste a ton of picks on a guy and get rid of him for peanuts kind of irritating move. His highest cost of keeping him around was already paid in the draft. Woods was another WR that was solid in blocking and a decent all around WR. I probably wouldn't have paid him $8 million though. I like some of the moves, but we just continue to tread water. Not completely sinking, but not significantly improving our situation either.
  14. Hyperbolic nonsense? We let go of: Gilmore Watkins Woods Ragland Darby J. Williams Argue the talent level if you want but we replaced them with very little.
  15. To be fair there is also: "This is a worse team than their record indicates." And my personal favorite: "Winning that game reduces our chances of making the playoffs"
  16. I don't see how cutting him helps us. Just my opinion. I could be wrong. I am all for making the team better. But you have to get better players along with cutting/trading all of your young talent.
  17. Maybe in the 4th game, they were at the point they thought they would cut him. He just seemed to be the "go to" guy after Shady for the 1st 2 games and he did very well in that role.
  18. Did you watch preseason at all?
  19. Or their rosters are pretty set for the first game in 5 days. But it is irrelevant because he was the clear 2nd string RB for the Bills. He was much needed depth at RB on a run heavy team.
  20. Except I am sure you have had a few misses that have conveniently fallen into obscurity.
  21. Hissy fit? Why should we trust that Beane and McDermott know what they are doing any more than Whaley did? How do we know they aren't worse? The young talent on the team is getting systematically eliminated. Whether you think that young talent should be replaced or not is irrelevant when they aren't replacing the young talent as they go. Trading a "broken" wide receiver for a player who is injured more than said broken receiver. (Watkins wasn't broken) Trading a young CB for a #2 WR who is going to "cost too much to sign" next year. Trading Ragland that cost us #2 and two #4s for a #4 pick the next year. Cutting a back-up running back who impressed in the preseason on a run heavy team that is screwed if McCoy gets hurt now. Something tells me I am not going to look back at these moves and say "wow, those moves really opened it up for the Bills to replace these guys with better players using worse draft picks" Believe it or not, but McDermott and Beane can be worse. Yes time will tell for sure.
  22. This exactly. Sure you don't like Whaley, but we can surely be worse off after this regime gets through with us.
  23. Its like they have a vendetta against any Whaley pick. Its absurd. The guy looked great in preseason.
  24. They didn't do any other culturally significant names though. It was solely white vs black. If American vs Eastern European sounding name has the same issue, would you admit that there's a variable here that may not be racism?
  25. I don't see that in the study you linked. Its all a sensitive and extremely subjective topic. Let's say I don't like the name Benjamin. I have no rational reason. I see it and I dislike it. Maybe subconciously I would give a Benjamin less slack or less thought than I would say James. That doesn't mean there is some underlying hatred of Benjamins. I just don't like the name Benjamin. Do you think this doesn't happen between white names? Bertha? Bartholomew?
