This sounds about right. Maybe this is why there was a rumor that Roman wanted Cassel more than Taylor. It might have fit his offense a little better with a prime running back, and a QB who can make the short quick passes that Cassel can. (I am glad he lost on that) Although I don't think Taylor has chemistry with Watkins for some reason either.

The camera view was awful too. Almost the entire time you couldn't see half the field.

I hate to admit it, but Taylor sucks

New England's defense actually measures up pretty well against the rest of the league. Not excusing the offense, but the NE defense haven't been as awful as you are implying. Look it up. -

The fickleness of bills fans and their QB's is hilarious. They would be calling for EJ if they didn't throw him under the bus already. I'm surprised I don't hear Josh Johnson talk lol. In your opinion has the defense failed if they allow any points? Has there been a single shutout this year? -
When targeted he made amazing catches. Was it no targets in the first half? It is Tyrod or the game plan, not Watkins abilities. If you'd stop hinting at Watkins not being up to the task you'd see we actually agree, but so long as you continue to, then I will continue to disagree with you. Yeah it was like he pulled the ball through the defender with one hand. Can't wait to see it in slow motion on gamepass.

If there is a good pic of it, it will be my new profile pic. Amazing!

Hey get out of the Watkins thread with your QB, and season ending talk! this thread is supposed to be bashing Sammy! I came here to witness the hilarity, but not of your variety.

I just wanted EJ in because Tyrod looked to be injured and incapable of throwing downfield. Tyrod is clearly better and needs more time. We need to be prepared if he doesn't turn out though, so spending a draft pick on a QB isn't a bad idea. Let's not put all our eggs in one basket - again. -

Don't you dare blame the d..... -
An extra win will make the difference too. Like if we lost 3 of the next 6. You know an extra win would kind of help. Play every game.

I would say ask Tyrod but he hasn't seen him.

I have watched a good hard fought game with some good plays on offense eclipsed by the NE defense shutting them down on others. It isn't nearly as bad as you think right now, and it isn't nearly as bad as you thought it would be. -

On the other hand if McCoy comes down with it, which he should have, we are up 10-3 close to the half, and it was a great call. But of course the opposite of whatever we do will always be the right call for the fans. -

It's annoying that they are currently going off on Rex for being emotional and coaching on emotion which is entirely built on Rex saying stuff to the press. -

Well they have lost in the Playoffs to Denver (Twice), Baltimore (Twice), New York Jets, and Indianapolis pretty recently. There is a reason they single out those teams in the article. If those teams were truly pathetic, then it is pathetic that they lost to them. Edit: If you take a stroll to their forums, they have constant news updates on the misery of Baltimore this year. That's how bitter they are. -

As far as I can tell it goes like this: With a win tonight we get the 5th seed since we would be tied with the Steelers, and we win the conference tie breaker. With a loss tonight, the Steelers secure the 5th seed for now, and the Bills are tied with the Chiefs, Houston, and the Jets. Jets are excluded because of division tie-breaker. KC Conf 4-2 (.667 Win PCT) Houston Conf 4-3 (.571 Win PCT) Bills Conf 5-4 (.555 Win PCT) So 8th unfortunately. Texans and Chiefs games are going to be a big deal. Edit: Just realized the Chiefs play the Texans and won. So if it came down to our 3 teams. To win the tiebreaker we can't lose to the Chiefs. They would get the tiebreaker for beating the texans and us. Losing to the Texans and beating the Chiefs would not be as critical of a loss as it would go down to tiebreaker. Trying to figure out if it's better or worse for KC and HOU to have 11/12 games against AFC opponents left. If they each lose 2 more games to AFC opponents to round out their records at 9-7 then their conference record would be: Houston Conf 7-5 (.583 Win PCT) KC Conf 8-4 (.667 Win PCT) With a loss to the Pats, the Bills would need to run the table on the AFC (Hou, KC, NYJ) to tie KC in conference record at 8-4 (.667 Win PCT) The tie breaker would then go to strength of victory. Chiefs 2.4 at the moment and Bills 2.0 at the moment. So at a certain point, we may need to root for opponents we've beaten like the Dolphins, Colts, and Titans to win. -
And yet it is better than a 1,000 yard WR. YAC per reception is a watered down situational stat.

Sprinkle in some random names, and it is even funnier. Like watching a Jimmy Kimmel Lie Witness News sketch -
The part I don't understand is when you blame the scheme but by the end of the post you say you expect more from Watkins, and he should do better.
-
Seriously? Again with Hopkins? How many times do I have to post this? Honestly, you don't want the reasons, but you keep asking the question. Sammy 5 games 32 Targets 329 yards 3 TDS 6.4 targets, 65.8 yards, .6 TDs a game Hopkins 10 games 137 targets, 1,045 yards 9 TDs 13.7 targets, 104.5 yards, .9 TDs a game If Watkins had twice the targets he would be doing better than Hopkins (Unless you want to factor in injuries as a "Watkin's issue"). Now I know you won't take this, but we know he gets open, and the reason we aren't targeting Watkins is because of either Tyrod is going through his progressions and not seeing Watkins and/or they aren't making Watkins the focal point of the game plan. And the fact that the Texans have thrown 282 times to the Bills 260 times (151 of which were when Watkins wasn't playing) or (21.8 throws per game when Watkins is playing to the Texans 28.2 throws a game)

Bet they wish they re-signed Taylor haha. And Forsett is out. They still have Schaub though but yeah maybe not that one so much. Every game is it's own matchup though. No one said the Bengals would lose to the Texans either, and suddenly the Texans are contenders
