Mario Williams interview ( hard to disagree )
What a Tuel replied to PO16FFS's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
This is that same QB argument. Just because the Bills QB's weren't good doesn't mean you don't give a reasonable chance for rookies coming out of college to develop. Same thing with Coaching. Just because former Bills Coaches likely wouldn't have worked out, doesn't mean consistency and roster turnover aren't a thing to be considered. When you start taking past history into account in current decision making, you end up like the Browns. Not to mention what decent HC will come to the Bills if it is playoffs year 1 or die? -
Around the NFL: Odell Beckhams meltdown
What a Tuel replied to boyst's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
He went to shake the guys hand? So he did or did not feel threatened by the guy standing with a bat dressed in "all black clothes", spooooooky attire btw This all reeks of a PR Expert going through the film and saying ok "here is what we have to do to turn the tide - 1) Odell is the victim 2) Get former player support 3) The Panthers are cold stone killers" As for the Beckham retreated thing, his signature is to get his punches and cheap shots in and then when a player retaliates (which is also not ok), he holds his hands up like "I didn't do anything!" -

The whole baseball bat, homophobia, and harassment nonsense is all to distract from what he did and generate sympathy for Beckham. Same with him going to all sorts of random former players and complaining about how much of a hard time these thugs were giving him. It almost brings a tear to your eye ....until you watch the replay of what he did. -

You are falling for this hook line and sinker lol. This is nearly as bad as the pats fans during deflate gate. http://deadspin.com/new-video-shows-confrontation-between-odell-beckham-jr-1749253528 There's the video of the whole carolina team threatening with bats in pregame lol https://twitter.com/BigPlayBene/status/679023969048076289 -
"You could argue here that Williams is trying to set the edge, and you need multiple angles to establish that he's not trying here, so don't be convinced yet. Take a look now at a second-quarter play where Williams is rushing the passer" They address that. They may have had more evidence but didn't want to flood the article

Alonso's 2 tackles and Beckham's 5 catches (12 targets) for 38 yards were certainly the reasons we lost those games. -

Did you not read the end of the article? The Panthers do not deny the existence of the bat, saying they have used it often before games as a “Bring the wood’’ sort of symbol. Cornerback Bene’ Benwikere, who was injured and did not play in the game, on Twitter explained that he carried the bat before last week’s game against the Falcons. Norman after that game said the bat symbolizes the secondary wanting to make big plays, like home runs. -

You guys really think the prices are why the stadium is empty? I can go on ticket exchange and buy an $150 100 section ticket, $125 200 section $85 100 section for their final game against the Rams. Why aren't all the die hard fans buying up these tickets? That's not to say that they are cheaper than our tickets, but they aren't thousands of dollars, or corporate boxes. -

He wasn't just talking. Here is the GIF although the article agrees with your stance. http://thebiglead.com/2015/12/20/josh-norman-odell-beckham-body-slam/ Beckham got in his face and got his hands up around his helmet and Norman finished it. Maybe a flag on both of them, but Beckham clearly instigated it. -

If you are referring to the first drive after Vereen ran for 3 yards, then I think you might want to watch the replay. I just watched that "body slam" and Beckham got into his face first and was pushing him first. Once Norman grabbed him Beckham threw his hands up for a flag (that's his thing) the refs weren't having it though, and saw Beckham instigated it. Wow, just watched the next drive and Beckham has Norman trailing behind him as he is running, and Norman is looking back at the line of scrimmage, and Beckham abruptly stops so Norman closes on him and does a reverse headbutt. Yeah Beckham isn't instigating anything lol. 3rd drive Beckham just takes a shot at him with his fist. -

Saturday Night Football: Jets at Cowboys
What a Tuel replied to YoloinOhio's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Do you really think the Jets are more likely to make the playoffs than the Steelers? People say we don't have a shot because of the Steelers not losing two of their next 3 but unless the Jets win out against the Pats and us, they will lose out to the Steelers in a tiebreaker. If they both win out, they still lose out in a tiebreaker depending on other teams expected performances (Denver beating Cincinatti). -
Bills Playoff Picture...extremely bleak, but hear me out...
What a Tuel replied to Estro's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Oakland will have to win out beating Green Bay and Kansas City, (and San Diego). Although they do have the tie breaker on us, so if they accomplish that then they will get in over us. As for the OP, I'm in with you! Honestly, I know we are all sick of the playoff drought, but this self loathing is pretty irritating. People need to quit crying and root for their team. -
Bills or Jets...Who would you rather Be
What a Tuel replied to plenzmd1's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
It may not be specifically you guys in particular, but I find this is hilarious because if this were the Bills record, you guys would be railing on them for only: Beating the dysfunctional Browns Beating the bad Colts Losing to the Eagles Only beating the Dolphins twice Beating the bad Redskins Nearly losing to the Jaguars Losing to the Texans Nearly losing to the Giants Beating the Titans I mean the record of the opponents they beat is 39-65 am I right? Shouldn't you guys be consistent and complain that they haven't beaten a single winning team? Oh suddenly W-L record reigns supreme again! -
For everyone who made the playoffs in their league..
What a Tuel replied to Canadian Bills Fan's topic in Fantasy Football
I lost Week 1 as well with: 2 point performance from Calvin Johnson, 10 point from Roethlisberger, 3 points from Devante Parker (Better than 0 point Amari Cooper I started him in place of) Playing against: Mr 26 point (2 Catch, 2 tds, 120 receiving yards) Ted freaking Ginn 35 point Carolina Defense (against 279 total yards, 0 points scored Falcons) Really big let down. I was scoring an average of 150 a week. Crashed and burned with 90 Week 1 of the playoffs. -

The lack of hope comes from the loss, but this is no different of a scenario than if the Steelers would have beaten the Bengals. We would not have gotten in even if we won out, because the Steelers would have the tiebreakers. Once the Bengals lost, the only possible path for us to make the playoffs was for Pittsburgh to go 9-7. At that point we could lose 1 NFC game and it doesn't matter. It sucks that it was the Eagles game, but that's that. -
Any Average Player Can Be a Superstar In Buffalo
What a Tuel replied to UBBullsfan's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Not choosing one or the other, but if by game winning drive you mean 1 pass for 7 yards, and 2 runs totaling 50 yards, then yeah, Osweiler led a game winning drive against the Pats. I am sure you'd give the credit to Tyrod if McCoy broke one to win the game too.
