  1. Hopkins again? Even by going with stats which admittedly don't tell the whole picture. 9 games for 124 targets, 927 yard and 7 tds. Or 13.7 targets, 103 yards, and .77 tds a game. Watkins 5 games for 32 targets, 329 yards and 3 tds. Or 6.4 targets, 65 yards, and .6 tds a game. One wonders if Sammy would get twice as many targets, he would easily match Hopkins in production. But no, we will ignore that in favor of total stats. I mean Sammy hasn't put up the stats, we want him to so far this year, but it is pretty clear to reasonable people that it isn't for a lack of ability. It is a combination of system, targets, and injury.
  2. I would have to unfortunately say him. On paper anyways. FF gets pretty wacky, I've learned to never say a matchup is a sure thing. Do you have a replacement for Langford if Forte plays? (I really really need Forte to play haha)
  3. Especially when the dollar amounts for prizes are usually even, and not so random as that number, so unless he is doing the tax math for us.....I call BS too. 1st $300,000 2nd $100,000 3rd $70,000 4th $50,000 5th $35,000 6th $25,000 7th $20,000 8th $15,000 9th - 10th $10,000 11th - 13th $7,500 14th - 17th $5,000 18th - 22nd $4,000 23rd - 28th $3,000 29th - 35th $2,500 36th - 45th $2,000 46th - 55th $1,750 56th - 65th $1,500 66th - 80th $1,250 81st - 100th $1,000 101st - 140th $750 141st - 200th $500 201st - 300th $400 301st - 500th $300 501st - 750th $250 751st - 1000th $200 1001st - 1500th $175 1501st - 2000th $150 2001st - 2750th $125 2751st - 4000th $100 4001st - 7000th $75 7001st - 12500th $60 12501st - 21840th $5 Not to mention, I bet he just doesn't do it often because it's too easy and boring for him to bother with it every week.
  4. There are ways to do a lot of things online illegally. But if you make it inaccessible enough, then the masses won't bother. FanDuel also says this now on the homepage - As of 2:30 PM EST, we are temporarily restricting paid entries from users located in New York.
  5. Or if after picking Russell Wilson, Burnett runs into field goal range instead of sliding as if the game was over 19-7 with 5 minutes left. Then GB proceeds to do the following: Eddie Lacy to the left -4 yards Eddie Lacy to the right -2 yards Eddie Lacy up the middle 2 yards Punt GB blew that game.
  6. Do you think if situations were reversed Watkins would be putting up for the Giants numbers closer to what he has now, or Beckhams? Or somewhere in the middle? What about Beckham for the Bills? I have a hard time believing that Beckham's stats would look much different than Watkins here. Call me crazy or what, but we haven't been very WR1 friendly with how we play the games. Does that mean we really needed to trade up? I think that could be argued, but comparing Beckham to Watkins is absurd. Wait til the end of their careers before we start down that road.
  7. Yep. I had a score of like 73. Brutal. Not only did it knock me out of the BYE week spot, but I lost $100 in a last man standing elimination aspect of the league.
  8. At least you didn't play Peyton this week.
  9. Yeah, I remember that haha. That is a rare instance. I didn't want him either. Or Cassel for that matter. Weird fact, McCown has not played a 16 game season in his 14 year career.
  10. This is so true. There was an uproar of why we weren't even considering snatching up Ryan Mallett after the Texans released him
  11. What position has he been trending on? I say Darby or Karlos. Rookie status elevates them out of the crowd I think
  12. I don't know why either. Their defense is pretty bad. McCoy will eat it alive. Romo is more a deep passer than a dump off artist I think so we will see. When he had Murray he could dump it off and let Murray do his thing, I don't fear McFadden as much though.
  13. One game at a time. NE up next. A win in NE makes the KC game a lot less crucial. It is possible despite everyone's opinion.
  14. http://www.nfl.com/videos/nfl-cant-miss-plays/0ap3000000559571/Can-t-Miss-Play-Golden-Tate-s-wacky-touchdown If that wasn't a catch then what was this? Because they ruled it a TD. Here's the other one for reference. http://www.sbnation.com/nfl/2015/11/15/9740760/odell-beckham-touchdown-catch-giants-patriots-referee-controversy
  15. Yeah it haunts me right now. It isn't the end of the world, but I would be much more comfortable at 6-3 haha.
  16. I think it is safe to be optimistic, so long as Tyrod stays healthy. If he played the Jaguars game, we would be 6-3, and only likely need 3 of 7 games to make the playoffs. Now we need 4 of 7. This place will likely melt down again after the Pats game, but I'm hoping we put up a fight in primetime. We have the tiebreaker against the Jets for now. Next tie breaker if we split is divisional record which we are 3-1 right now. They are 1-2. Tie breaker for conference opponents is conference record and Pittsburgh is 2-4 in conference and Oakland is 4-3. We are 5-3 in conference. KC and Houston are big time games we can't drop.
  17. I really shouldn't fall for it. I should be doing something more productive haha. BTW I love the name change and pic.
  18. Let's project DeAndre Hopkins based on half of his games played (like Watkins). Hmmm 435 yards and 3 tds. What does Sammy have? 329 yards and 3 tds. Damn what a bust. But wait a minute looking at the targets, Hopkins has 57 in half of his games and Sammy has 32.
  19. Last year as a rookie, he was ranked 24th in WR rankings (by yards) with Orton at QB. You aren't being ridiculed because we are a bunch of apologists, you are being ridiculed because you are passive aggressively attacking Sammy based on games he couldn't play. Criticize the injury? fine whatever, but call him out and say hes no better than a top 40 WR based on non-performances this season when he was 24th according to your own ranking his rookie year is absurd and ridiculous. Then to top it all off you waffle back and forth between blaming the coaches for utilization of him, and then flip to him being no better if he was healthy and on the Browns, as if he couldn't beat Travis Benjamin, and Gary Barnidge (TE but your choice not mine) for the WR1 spot.
  20. Just pulled it up and watched again. Maybe. It's hard to say. If he kept running under it I think it would've put him right in front of Revis but you never know. These camera angles are tricky, and what looks close or fingertips away could look a lot different from a different angle. I think he was nervous or jittery for some reason. Maybe it was because of Revis. Who knows, definitely seemed a little jumpy though.
  21. Ouch that hurts. Thomas for Murray is steep but you did need an RB. No one available on waiver? I made the mistake of sitting pretty with Ingram and Forte, and a no name 3rd running back. When Forte went out I started losing, because with all the RB injuries the RB market is bare. Since Forte will likely be out again, I will be forced to start Sproles or Bolden. And next week Ingram will be out for bye. I pray to God Forte will be back next week. Was in 1st place, fell to second after last week, and could fall to 5th with a loss this week.
  22. ....I think you just proved my point. I don't think that anyone not involved in this conversation would think you were calling them an idiot or talking about their job...... Also it wasn't an argument. It was harassment by idiots who have nothing better to do than to comment on his facebook or whatever harassing him. I understand you aren't thrashing Sammy, but the guy missed 4.5 games out of 9. Comparing him to that kind of list is kind of useless, unless you have a low tolerance for his injuries.
  23. Literally the only thing he said that could be taken as an attack was "get a life, go to work, stop worrying about my job because I'm good on this end and forever will be losers, most of you just wish to be in this position so continue working y'all little jobs for the rest of y'all lives" This was a 22 year old's response to hurt the people that were hurting him. It was not a social commentary on the working class. Only the internet would interpret it as such. I don't believe his parents think he was targeting them and their jobs either. I think they were probably upset with him lashing out, but beyond that, they know Sammy more than any one of us, and probably understand better than you or me that it was a defensive mechanism, not commentary on the working class. It is clear what he meant was to insult the people insulting him. He clearly chooses the people harassing them as his subject and consistently targets them. Obviously the masses would interpret it as an attack on them because they can't make that distinction on their own. That is why it was wrong of him to do it, but I do not blame him for lashing out, nor do I think he was targeting me as a person with a little job. Even further, I am not even sure why I need Sammy to think I am a big boy with a big important job, who really cares?
  24. It was wrong for his line of work. Not wrong from a defensive standpoint. If someone criticized me on how I do my job like people were doing to him, I would tell them to off, and worry about their own jobs as well. It was a bad idea and wrong, because of the way the masses would interpret it, not because of what he said.
  25. I don't know why people disregard what Rex actually says. He said it plainly and clearly in the post game presser but he has said the same before. Rex - "You know what - he's not a bad kid. You think that's the first fight that's happened in an NFL Lockerroom? Every single team has had fights in their lockerroom. Young man made a mistake. You don't think he thinks about that every single day? But he is on our football team, and I am proud of him." The Press - "What do you think when people say it sets a bad example?" Rex - "It's a bad example to judge people. That's probably what the biggest bad example is. Nobody is perfect including every single person who is pointing a finger."
