  1. Alright, I went to see Tenet with a friend as this is maddening. It was awesome BTW. Worth the ticket and my company wasn’t hard on the eyes either. Can they just announce the fargin 53 and get it over? I know it will all change anyway as Beane will be looking for waiver guys and there will be some depth substitutions for a week or so, but come on.
  2. Yo, Rocky (sorry saw the last one last weekend), if he turns down his special short bus status as someone put it, and they already picked their 16 persons, he’s cut or they send another packing. He’s 29 so another year here on this status, he’d be 30, but he’s getting a nice paycheck. He also has another shot at the final 53 next year at the league minimum. Not sure on what they would have to pay him, but at least he has a shot. He’s not exactly making a ton at rugby.
  3. Cotton, one of the facts of that international clause is if he is deemed to that PS spot, vs. a regular PS spot, he cannot be activated for any reason all season long. So if you want him activated, he has to take one of the 16 slots, not the international man of mystery one. I didn’t know either until Sal said it yesterday on the radio.
  4. We must really be jonesing for football If we are on page 5 of a thread about a guy who hasn’t played ball since 1979. Alright I’ll play along while getting ready for the gym. The Jets win did start a change in the view of the AFL as a legit part of the NFL. The next year the Chiefs won, then the Colts, Dolphins, Dolphins, Steelers , Steelers, Raiders and Steelers. I skipped two years of NFC winners just to make the point the AFC was the dominant conference in the 1970’s, so all of a sudden they were legitimate. Namath started that run out. To this day NFC people still try and say they are the dominant conference even though the AFC has won 27 SB’s, and the NFC has won 27. I really don’t care if Namath was placed in the HOF.
  5. How about NOOO Scott! www.zipit.com.org. This guy was lazy by all reports, and has been traded once, now a second time. Why give up a draft pick for this guy, or even take him if released. Noodle arm, lazy and a bad attitude. Yeah, that’s a great idea.
  6. Nucci, ping, pang, pow, I thought I told you to go **** you motha. Hendry, I think you could fold unda questioning. That’s it you are a funny guy. Pounce (Tommy).
  7. As Tommy (not Brady as that is Tahmmy according to Coach Weiss) from Goodfellas said, Ping, Pang, Pow, we cut Lee Smith ($1.75 mil.), Nsekhe ($3.2 mil.), and Pa Pang, Murphy ($8 mil.), we offer a 2nd round pick and get Ertz. Botta Bam. I like Nsekhe, but with D. Williams, and Ford maybe moving to G, and Murphy for obvious reasons with the other additions, we could finish the last part of our roster. Works for me. Rip it up of you want. You know Barkley is $2 mil., and if Davis Webb had that good of a camp, maybe we save a bunch.
  8. Im comin Elizabeth, I’m comin. Dada Danit, dada Danit, Da, Da, Da, ....Da, Da, Da.
  9. … I could see him substituting for Beasley from time to time, but #2? I’m excited about the guy too, but not so much to be a #2 now, but for him and Hodgins to eventually get eased into a bigger role down the road. I say the same thing about Moss. I’m very excited for him and rookie RB’s usually can contribute a lot faster, but he still hasn’t played in the NFL yet. Davis was a stud at UCF, and they play some tough teams, not just a cream puff conference. USF and UCF has steadily Improved over the years. They are no SEC teams, but they aren’t Appalachian State either.
  10. That’s actually pretty fair. I almost never agree with these rankings, but I like where her head is at on these rankings. I didn’t think we would place CB as second, not because of White, but thought Wallace would pull us down. Not saying he’s bad, just average to a slightly above average. A big if, but if Norman goes anywhere near back to Carolina form (even 80%), we have an incredible defensive backfield.
  11. Well if he did sign with the Saints, I’m very happy. Not because I’m a Saints fan, but because I just want Clowney to go away from the never ending posts on him. If you like him, great. If you don’t think he’s worth $10 mil., fine. $10 mil. is around what some of the cap guys thought he might get. He was never worth even close to what he was trying to get before. These two Saints / Bucs are going to be fun to watch. The first is the season opener at 4:15 pm in NO, and the second Is the Sunday night game on Nov. 8th In Tampa. They should both be on national tv in most areas, and our game is at 1 pm for both games. The second game we have the Seahawks so an action packed day.
  12. I just don’t know why anyone would want to kick the tires on this fat, lazy bum. A leopard doesn’t change its spots as they say. He would be the same out of shape guy that used to have to sit on the exercise bike for a week because he couldn’t do what the rest of the league did at the beginning of TC. Come in shape and ready to play.
  13. Those highlights were fun. He is going to be a lot of fun to watch this year. With having Moss to compliment him, and keep fresh legs, they should do some serious damage.
  14. I almost fell over when I saw this dumb commercial the first time. They either paid him an obscene amount of $, or he’s working on his pension plan. Cash in now before he’s a has been. He doesn’t exactly have the personality of an NFL show, but I’m sure someone will offer him a job once he retires. That can’t come soon enough.
  15. Qualify that to he’s a great back up, just not a starting QB. Ok fixed. Herbert will be starting probably by game 6 or 7.
  16. Saint, I like you’re head on this one with the set. We could also see a 12 personnel with Diggs, Brown, Ertz, Knox, and take you’re pick, Moss or Motor amd we are the reincarnation of the Ravens last year. They played a lot of 12 personnel last year and was hard to defend.
  17. How about No Scott! $1million dollars and that’s it! Www.shh.com.org.
  18. I could care less how we win the SB. We won! For me the better news is it’s in Tampa, so I can drive down the road and go to the game if I want to fork out Fort Knox for a ticket or three as my boys will kill me if I don’t take them. The Bills are always my #1, but it would be fun to see the Bills win in an overtime victory against the Bucs. I’d be happy if we repeat next year against the same team.
  19. I’m personally with Gugs. We’ll be anywhere from 0-16 to 19-0. That’s as close I’m getting nailed down. Mark the tape folks.
  20. But, But Putin, they make a hellova coffe cake. My dad used to buy those things when I was a kid. Buffalo was great for bad food.
  21. This thing about we have enough talent, did Tampa do that? They had $1.5 mil. in space, and signed him for $2 mil. with incentives to $3.5 mil. They had a deficit in the running game. Their other deficit was in the defensive secondary, and picked high the last two years. Our deficit is in the TE realm and although Cutting Smith, or others isn’t the complete answer, cutting Murphy would get us close and we’d have the most talented team on every unit offensively and defensively in over 25 years. Im all for it when it comes to adding TE talent. If we have to wait for a draft pick next year, ok, but 29 is not old, and could seriously help this team. Allen could use another pass catching TE to give him an underneath throw. If we don’t, I don’t care, but it would be the one position that would be fun to add.
  22. That’s it edog, get off my lawn and put you’re garbage cans away you criminal. Dam kids.
  23. Yolo, are I-Robot. I heard you have cool tools and weapons. Just kidding bud and thanks for what you do here.
