Zach Ertz about to be traded? [Edit: or Not]

Damn Nazi! -
The real question is why does anyone go searching for negative takes on players on our team somewhere in MN or anywhere else. It’s just a waste of time. I haven’t clicked on it and really don’t care. We had according to the voters the second best player in the NFL (mvp) and the leading WR in the NFL last year.

Anyone want Favre as he was available a decade plus ago and had to listen to that nonsense. That’s where I start feeling for Chandler, SDS, and Hap. No worries when it was real with Diggs, or even Gronk and some others when there was a real chance. I just hate sorry guys stupidity. Some things are never ever happening. -

Now you’re really dating yourself my wayward son. Lay you’re weary head to rest. I can do this all day. Great song as a rerun in St. Francis HS weight room in the 80’s. Hit 38 tri dips to that song in our weekly competition. Had to be full. The whole gym rat crowd were the judges. Football players(I was one of them didn’t have a chance against us wrestlers as I was both). Never mind the cream puff hoops players. As my friends would say to me “thanks our resident cliff clavin. I know you know that reference. -

Bruce, you’re not at all. I was excited we picked up some speed, and just because Miami can’t figure out how to use him doesn’t mean we can’t figure out packages for him. As far as the jokes, THANK YOU. I’m so over every player who is released someone has to sprint to the iPad saying let’s bring him in. I’m just waiting for the knucklehead who says, hey let’s bring in Aaron Rodgers. -

Yolo, you know no one under 40 even knows the reference. 🤪🏈 So don’t you cry no more. No. What was his 40 this year since no combine? -
Well, there’s $3 mil. Or so now, and only $11.2 mil. if it goes up to $203-4 mil., as has been projected by some. The year after some say it should be around $225 mil., and that is what it would’ve been if we didn’t have the pandemic. 2024 is when we really will see a big jump to $255 mil., or so. After the cap will keep exploding for years to come outside of some catastrophe like this past year. I can see contract extensions structured to take advantage of those years beyond. This is why I’m not that concerned with Allen and Edmunds extensions. Diggs already was given some $ up to $14 mil., so I can se them waiting a year or so before we see that one happening. It’s just MGK speculation so what do I know (sorry for the Jimmy third party talk - Seinfeld).

Zach Ertz about to be traded? [Edit: or Not]
machine gun kelly replied to Rubes's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Correct, he acted very disgruntled he was getting passed over for a younger TE, and then gets hurt. He’s in a toxic environment and didn’t handle it well. Then again, although not the same, Diggs was getting a horrible reputation in MN, and he didn’t handle well either. He came here in an excellent environment and flourished. I agree Hollister both that he’s solid, has a better completion % than knox, but then again so are most TE’s in the league, and liked the pick up. It’s very clear you don’t want Ertz to be considered and you absolutely have a right to that opinion. I’ve made my position clear, I don’t want a trade and give up capital. I also would want to bring him in at a reasonable price as so many guys over 30 in the league have had to take pay cuts, and see if he can earn a spot. My position has not changed. Thank you for clarifying you’re feelings. -
What's your top 4 pass rush package?
machine gun kelly replied to Royale with Cheese's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
I was waiting for some wise ars to bring this up. Shocker, it’s you. I had a nice laugh on that one. Thx 716. Carrington was a nice touch. You must have been a fan of Dobler on offense as well (spitting on opposing knuckles). Who? Just kidding. -

machine gun kelly replied to Rubes's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
I was never wanting a draft pick for him, but to say he’s always hurt is not accurate. He started in 11 games last year so ok, not perfect, but the previous years, 15, 16, 13, 12 going backwards. That’s couple with 916, 1163, 824, 816 yards. That is more than twice of anything Knox has done and almost really three times. His completion record those four years was from 65-75% compared with Knox around 54%. My point is simply at the right price without giving away draft capital is not a bad decision. To say he sucks and is not talented is not accurate or that he’s always hurt. My point is Beane will probably put in a bid for him released cleanly and we’ll see if he wants to be in a winner or if simply chasing $. Up until the end of 2019 he was considered the third most talented TE in football behind Kelce and Kittle. He may want to go on a team that just went to the championship in 2020 when it doesn’t take a rocket scientist to know we need a TE. I wouldn’t put it past Beane. I also wouldn’t want to give up a draft pick for him. -
Rodgers Disgruntled with Packers

As always like the Brett Farve crap a decade + ago, not happening. What is he going to take a $30+ mil. Haircut sitting out? He has zero leverage. how many people said Russel Wilson is gone. How about d Watson. It’s not happening. This is click bait news. That’s all. -

I said multiple times, the Insane Iggles will try and shop him, GM’s will out wait them, and eventually they will release. It’s going to happen as their would have been a trade by now. Hes a possibility, but we’ll only offer what we see his value. I know a lot of people based on last year think he just stinks now, but I disagree. He had an injury and up to 2019 he 2as ranked the third best pass catching TE. He’s certainly not worth anything near $12 mil., but how many +30 guys have been taking deals this year with the cap. If the price is right, why not? If he doesn’t want to come to a championship team and at his age you’d think he’d want another ring, but if not, by. -
I don’t know about no starters. Basham should rotate, the returner should play if he beats out McKenzie, you never know on the CB and S, and sure the O Linemen are most likely depth. Beane was smart. He’s admitted to using FA to fill in the roster, and late round picks he’s been on record for depth, but early picks he’s even more resolute for the BPA. Works for me.

2022 NFL MOCK DRAFT
machine gun kelly replied to Solomon Grundy's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Solly I know you mean well, but we don’t know the records, we don’t know how we’ll perform, we don’t know how these college kids will perform, and so on and so on. This thing isn’t even worth a passing look. Talk to everyone on this after free agency next year. -
Let's revisit and grade 2017 draft
machine gun kelly replied to No_Matter_What's topic in The Stadium Wall
GB, I know and always appreciate you’re take. I think we’ve looked fir a good RT for a long time and last year Williams did well. People keep going back to 5e Chiefs game as if that is the only game they played, but Williams was so impressive on his own completely nullifying anything from TJ Watt in the Steelers game without TENor RB help. Around the NFL most consider TJ Watt an elite rusher. If Williams knee starts to give him trouble again in a year, then sure we have depth. -
I’m betting it’s Dawkins, Ford, Morse, Feliciano, D. Williams. Ford is a natural LG and always throughout his youth shined in this spot. It was foolish, but out of necessity to put him at RT. I know there is a buzz after we drafted two tackles and a guard this past weekend, but they are more fir depth and possibly the future. Ill predict Ford will have a good comeback season this year post injury.

Let's revisit and grade 2017 draft
machine gun kelly replied to No_Matter_What's topic in The Stadium Wall
I gave them an A-, but vacillated over possibly an A. Either is really fine for me. I don’t mind on missed picks like Peterman as he was a late round pick and Milano was a steal in retrospect, but then again so was Diggs for MN as a 5th round pick. The Zay Jones pick was smart at the time as he was the leading receptions guy in college, but he just never developed at all in the pros. In the second round, you’d expect a WR to make a better impact. Tre and Dion have been great which is one of the reasons I was a little surprised we took two OT’s this year. I was not at all surprised at one, but D. Williams and Dawkins are under contract for another three years. Maybe in two years Beane is thinking he can get out of the Williams contract. Im glad OP you put some thought into this thread as four years later is a fair time to assess a draft, not the crap that was put out over the weekend about this draft. I don’t even know why people read those fluff articles. They mean nothing. It is even fair to assess the 2018 draft as there is enough evidence now on the players. I don’t think it’s long enough to assess 2019 and 20 yet. Look how much Allen evolved from year 1, to 2, to 3. -
How did Jaret Patterson go undrafted??
machine gun kelly replied to Big Turk's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
First, he still has a ***** to make a team with Washington. Second, outside of WNY not a lot of people even know who he is in the country. He’s undersized and not fast. I enjoyed watching him when he was on down here, but that was rare. I expected a team would take a flier on him and one did so now just beat out others. Lastly, could he really play effectively special teams as a fourth of fifth running back is expected to help there as well. -
Is Jerry Hughes a future Wall of Famer?
machine gun kelly replied to Royale with Cheese's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
I agree with you and Hondo. He’s been a solid player for us, but we’d run out of wall space if we put guys like him up there. You’d have to add Eric Wood, Kyle Williams, Fred Jackson, and so on and so on. Ask yourself this question, is he ever even close to being considered for the yellow jacket? No. You have to be one hair away from HOF to even close to be considered for the Wall. It’s either equivalent or just one small step below Canton. I don’t mind a guy like Tasker up there as he was transformational as a ST guy that isn’t a kicker, punter, and he still might someday get in the HOF. He’s been nominated enough times. -
Hasn’t Beane proven in the last couple of years he’s had three solid team friendly contracts. Milano, D. Williams, and Feliciano. Each could’ve gone to a crap team for more $. Addison, Butler, and Morse took pay cuts. some act like it’s you’re wallet. He knows what he’s doing. Edmunds we hope will be healthy this year and have the complete line with him so we’ll see what he does. It doesn’t mean they can’t cut him later.

WHAT? CAN YOU SPEAK UP? Sorry, just funny. Shocked they picked up both. in other news the world is round. Was this really a surprise to anyone? maybe we should get Reggie Ragland to fill in, or insert every other crap LB we’ve had foe two decades. He’s not Dick Butkas, but he’s not again insert stupid LB’s we’ve had since the 90’s.
