Zerovoltz 3rd and FINAL Mock Draft 2 rounds
machine gun kelly replied to Zerovoltz's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Well, Zero I looked again at you’re suggestion on Ettiene and if he is anywhere near a Kamara, he would be worth trading with TN at 22. We would need to be equitable to swap 1sts and give them our 3rd and one of our 5ths. They might bite on that and maybe they give us a late pick like 6th or 7th. That could work. We’re not going to find a TE, we are not even close to an Edge Rusher, CB, we’re in a better position than some think, and then get one in the 2nd. I can see that and fill in 1 tech DT, possible Big Nickel Safety, and depth on Edge later. I don’t ever expect day 3 guys to make it unless a kicker, but we did find Dane in the 7th. -
Zerovoltz 3rd and FINAL Mock Draft 2 rounds
machine gun kelly replied to Zerovoltz's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
That’s a sound argument Zero. Hey, can you talk to the trolls from the Jets and Pats fans who come on this board just to be a pain in the ars and have no logic behind their comments. At least you put in some sound thought behind you’re comments and I’ve NOT observed you to be a Bills basher. You just love you’re team which is fine. What’s not to like about the Chiefs, except for when we play you (insert snarky laugh). I think we are going to end up building a good rivalry with you guys for years to come like the TV ratings would go through the roof for the yearly Manning/Brady game each year. I can’t think of any two other QB’s that had that kind of appeal for over a decade. You’d have to go back to the Kelly/Marino days as that was always a draw. Id rather have an elite Edge or CB, but then again I’d love to be 6’3, tall dark and handsome. Wasn’t in the cards. We don’t have nearly the ammunition to get one of those guys, so to you’re point, Ettiene is most likely a sure thing for what we have to offer in terms of capital. On a side note, I was listening to either WGR or NFLR yesterday, and one good point was made that it will be important for teams like us not to give away 2022 picks for this year as we’ll need them with the impending contracts we’ll be doing for Allen or Allen and Edmunds. I don’t see us giving away in this draft 2022 picks to move up. Have a good day bud. Off to the gym and work. -
For all the pundits who now are claiming revisionist history on Josh, one guy who had him pegged right for once was Kiper. He vehemently argued fir him on tape pre draft Allen would surprise people. I still remember the argument he made back then that Josh lost three starters to the NFL his senior year at Wyoming. I know he was picked 7th, but in five years he’ll go down as a steal and the best QB of the 18 draft. Some badwagoners are still claiming Lamar, but he won’t remain that fast forever. Allen will keep improving and McBean will keep building a solid team around him for years to come. Josh will have the same coach and GM for the forseeable future. He even has the same OC for at least his first four years. Someday Daboll will probably get a HC somewhere, but Allen’s foundation will still be there, and can handle other OC’s. I don’t know if we can beat the Chiefs yet, but they are our real competition. I’m not sold on Wentz although Reich has built a very nice sound team in the Colts. The Steelers are in decline, the Pats will only rebound of BB finds a way to pull off a draft day trade with SF for JG, and Miami may improve, but not enough with Tua to really push us. It’s a tipsy tour you world to think Cleveland could be some real competition for us in the AFC.

Zerovoltz 3rd and FINAL Mock Draft 2 rounds
machine gun kelly replied to Zerovoltz's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Honestly Zero, it’s just a mock and btw, you have way too much time on you’re hands to put this much into a thread 😇🏈, but in you’re first round trade, it’s not likely. You didn’t give enough ammo to get to 19. 19th is worth 875 pts. In most charts. Our 1st and 3rd only equals (620+128) 748 pts. That only gets you to between 23rd and 24th so the Jets or Steelers. I can see the Steelers willing to make the trade as they need linemen badly, but the Jets would tell us to pound salt and take Ettiene anyway. I don’t see it. Washington may need more picks, but they would demand both 5’s along with the 3rd to get that high. That would still only place us around 794 pts. That charts aren’t set in stone, but they are a good guide for around where teams will accept trades and do they really need more picks. Whats more likely is we stay at 30, and when it is more palatable to move up we may move up some slots in the 2nd or 3rd rounds, or both. I appreciate you’re efforts though. Not bad for a Chiefs fan. 😷 -
Peter King Mock- Bills take Etienne
machine gun kelly replied to BillsMafi$'s topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Wow, it’s. Nothing like draft time to get the argumentative side out in people. I have guesses, but the truth is no one can really know or even closely predict who falls to us. I still think of several categories, the cornerbacks have more depth this year so more likely we take one if there, but it’s also very plausible Ettiene is there and if Beane likes him, that’s it. We’ll find out around 11 pm Thursday night, and no I will not wait all night for the 30th pick. -
Who are the 49er's going to take at 3
machine gun kelly replied to wagne591's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
If they don’t trade Jimmy G. to the Pats, then my WAG is Lance. If a draft day trade then probably Jones or Fields. I don’t want to see Jimmy G. back in NE as BB can make something of him having two very solid TE’s and a couple of big WR’s. That is perfect for a Jimmy G. offense along with a decent running game. Then I would say the Cheats will get to 10-11 wins in a 17 game season. With Cam, it’s a top out of a 10 win season with the 17 season. I’m repeating as so many persons keep thinking in the world of a 16 game season and that’s reasonable as this is new. Please Jimmy stay in SF. I’m rooting for Lance even more than our 30th pick mainly because I trust Beane’s judgement, and don’t want to see JG back in the place I hate the most. -

Are sports’ drafts fair to the players?
machine gun kelly replied to Tipster19's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
So when you enlist to the military, how much influence do you have where you work? Almost none. it’s a major corporation with 32 CEO’s. It’s a formula where the owners get to decide the formula. You go where you’re picked. You can decline and make no $. Of course they have you’re rights for two years so you get older and earn less. On the other hand you can go where you’re picked and decide where you want to go in a few years. You can also use you’re degree and choose which company you and the company meet in terms of a hire. No change in my position. This take not any person is moronic. All the major sports do the same thing. not getting into the politics thing as that is a rabbit hole. For example if Lawrence wants to make $0 for two years he can most likely choose wherever he wants. -

You guys took the bait. This is what he does. I’ve done it too in the past. Have fun tipster trying to rile people up as you know you’re premise is moronic. Not you, must you’re premise. -
Zaven Collins is my choice
machine gun kelly replied to Billiever72's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
You’re making a leap he is a 4-3 DE. Fine with me as he has talent as long as you know he rotates with epenesa and can penetrate. That’s why we hire him. Not an inside lb. whether anyone likes it or not that one is done.’ So if you think crazy good edge rusher ok. Otherwise wasted pick. -
As far as the bickering bills stuff in 89, they weren’t used to success yet after winning the East and getting going in the playoffs. From what I remember it was a lot of little things that really started in training camp so not one event. things became really heated when Kelly called out some guys, and Thurmond was pissed. He then offered in the media Kelly should worry about himself and shot back. it turned into a meeting with polian thurm Kelly and I’m sure others basically getting called into the principals office. They moved past it and went to the next four sb’s. Can we all just get an OV, and an L, and an E, and you’ve got love Love, Love OV. that’s all I remember from that commercial from the 80’s. Dropped way too many of those splits on the floor of Mulligans who used to sell those thing by the cases in the summer while in college. 500 capacity my ars. There had to be 2000 college kids there every Friday and Saturday night in the summer on break.

Yep. I’ll ever forget that year. I’ve already told the story a couple of times, but that blocked kick by big old Freddy Smerlas, and fandemonium was amazing. Made it on the goal post for all of 7 seconds before getting climbed in and trampled thereafter. Thanks Chand. One of my fondest Bills memories.

Zach Ertz about to be traded? [Edit: or Not]
machine gun kelly replied to Rubes's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
The last I heard is the cap would hit $203-4 mil. in 2022 so basically still behind what was negotiated in contracts prior to the pandemic. So no health deal, and by 2022 it would have been $218 mil. or so given 8 years prior the cap would go up $8-10 mil/yr. In 2023 is where we catch up to pre pandemic in $225 mil. Now we’re back on course. 2024 is where you see the contracts really help in they expect it to be $255 mil. and up from there. The notion there will be a ton of $ soon is not happening, but down the road by the end of the CBA, the cap will be around $300 mil. and growing. As to Ertzif you’re an Ertz fan, the Eagles will most likely cut him. That’s what other GM’s are waiting for if any team is targeting him. Going for a day 3 trade just ensure you get him, but also his contract. For Ertz camp people, is he worth a 6th rounder and $8 mil. for one year, or do you wait til he’s cut, keep you’re pick, and negotiate against other teams. Id rather wait and see if it can work. For the deals the players have been getting after the first round of FA, he should be an economical buy. -
As much as Zane Collins BB looks sharp, he would be rotating with Milano or Edmunds and I think Beane may want someone in the first who is an impact starter right away. That keeps taking me back to CB and Ettiene. There are supposedly 4 good CB’s with a first round grade. We can only hope there is a. Serious run on QB’s and Tackles. You know someone will take a LB or two some of the CB’s, and two teams are probably going to take Philip’s or Owe as edge rushers.

Was it this.... Or this... Notthat there is anything wrong with that (always fun with a Seinfeld reference)

ATL, rock on brother for the video. What a nice kid, and St. Jude is special. My family has donated there including myself for a long time. You ever win a powerball, that should be you’re first donation. How can you not support a charity that is helping to treat and cure various cancers, along with families not getting a Bill. I hope maybe this gives him a little juice in his fledging broadcasting career. He did a nice job.

Covid vaccination policy for NFL players and staff

Rocker, what would that band look like one of these? -
You had to expect the Chiefs to do something about their O Line problem. Surprised the Steelers haven’t done more even if they are cap strapped. There are always ways to kick the can down the road. The Saints have pulled that off forever. I think they have it finally coming to bite them and Mr. Rooney knows enough not to take on that strategy. The Hunt family is in for a problem a few years from now. They are fine for now, but you can’t do this forever. Its one if 5e reasons I like Beane’s approach. He seems to know how to win now and later. He has me very intrigued as to what he’ll do next week. My best guess is still a CB, and the dark horse would be Ettiene. The Edge Rusher candidates don’t impress many. I don’t believe any of these tell the truth, but if his truth is meant to be a lie (I know that sounds silly) then maybe he really is targeting Ettiene.

Thanks for sharing Lime. Even after reading the link, I still can’t comment. I can only hope these players really didn’t know the details of these loans and how corrupt Texas is for allowing this to go on in their state. There’s a reason other states do not allow these types of loan shark for lack of a better phrase type loans. Preying on the needy is disgusting.

Which defensive scheme would you prefer?
machine gun kelly replied to Arm of Harm's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Not trying to be difficult, but the defense ultimately is built around the players they have or chosen. if we had Ted Washington, Wiley, Paul, Speilman than yeah Wade’s defense was awesome. If we had Super Mario, Hughes in his prime, And so on we should use the wide 9. we now have this staff so McD’s defense makes the most sense. For McD who is capable of doing it can rebuild an entire defense and suffer the years it would take to change then changing the defense makes sense. Not saying the question is to change just you’re favorite. All were good, but we have a top secondary. He’s doing what he needs to do with this defense. it is nice to reminisce, but we have McD. Now if he can plug a couple holes in this draft, we could go back to being special. We were 4th the year before.
