9/19//21 Week 2 Bills @ Miami Postgame Thread

That is a mean defensive line rotation! On a side note, I don't remember ever being quite so interested in what the snap counts were for the team as a whole. -

Guard is more of an issue, IMO, but they looked good today. But, certainly, the Miami pass rush doesn't hold a candle to the Steelers' pass rush. -

What's the status on Levi Wallace? He was playing a great game before he went out. And Dane Jackson definitely stepped up when he came in. I feel like we can all feel a bit better about the #2CB situation, assuming nothing serious on Levi's injury. -

Levi was having a great game before he ent out. And, to be fair, Dane looked pretty good stepping in. -
Boogie Basham, Harrison Phillips, and Efe Obada all inactive. Star back. They must feel pretty good about Zimmer. Really hope they get to Tua often. Allen will get a lot more time in the pocket than they did last week. The fish D-line doesn't hols a candle to the Steelers, and Moss will be out there. Hopefully, Dawkins is closer to form than he was last week. I'm assuming he'll continue to recover from his offseason ills, and get a little better each week.

I didn't want the Giants to win. I just wanted them to cover the spread, Mission accomplished!

Does anyone else sort of avoid this place after a loss?

It's not just you. I just don't have the energy for all the hot takes. I'm too busy wallowing in my own. EDIT: It was easier when we sucked. -
Can the Bills win a SB without a killer instinct

I feel like such a Bills fan right now. -
As he should be.

Yeah, now that he is a FB, that's probably a big part of the reasoning. But, it is still a different position. Do we see Gilliam in RPO, or play action? Not having Moss does have an impact in 10, or 11 formations. We're doomed.

The Steelers might have the best D-line in the league. That's what strikes me as so strange about this. Moss is better at pass protection than Motor, or Breida. If there's going to be some weekly rotation on RB, then A) that would be weird, and B) excluding Moss this week against the Steelers D-line seems like an odd choice.
-
But Moss is the best RB in pass pro in the league. This is weird.

I can certainly understand how Patriots* fans would be considered the benchmark for obnoxious fans. All my in-laws are Pats* fans, but it's not just Patriots* football they're interminably obnoxious about. Honestly, I think it just has more to do with being from Boston. Don't get me wrong, I love Boston, I love (most of) my in-laws, and I have blood relatives in Boston, as well. It's a wonderful city, and if you're there, and stop somebody to ask for directions, you'll get a far more involved description than you could imagine, and their life story. But, make no mistake-- the other side of that talkative, and friendly coin is some serious Grade A douche-baggery, that they themselves refer fo as being a "Masshole." So, fear not. There have been other teams that have achieved sustained success in the history of the NFL, that didn't fall into a pattern of being insufferable dickheads. Believe it, or not, there's been a saying in other parts of NFL fandom that states: "The best thing about the Bills, are the fans." I think that will continue, even after a Super Bowl, or two.
