It's getting harder to find a whipping boy these days.

This feels like an offseason thread.

The Bills looked downright sleepy when we played the Titans last season. The Steelers game, week one, reminded me a lot of that game. This last victory vs KC does nothing to assuage my anxiety over this game. The Titans can run hot or cold, and they’ve been a bit cold this season. They’ve been cold this season, but they were pretty hot vs the Jags. Of course… Jags… I know McD and the Bills are going to focus, and travel to Tennessee ready. I want to see a decisive win, without injury. Go into the bye, then come out and hand Miami another humiliating shutout— this time in our house.

Ya know who else thought that drive was huge? Patrick Mahomes. It was a distinct pleasure seeing a shot of Mahomes, every minute or two, gritting his teeth in frustration that his team was being managed. Pure schadenfreude, sure, but utterly enjoyable.

Greg Rousseau. Holy crap! The only sack on Mahomes, crucial in stopping the run, and how often do you see an interception four yards away from the QB?

In the fourth quarter, the D-line rotation, one of the hallmarks of this defense, had the Chiefs O-line utterly gassed.

Moss has turned a corner. I feel like this was the game where he started to run with anticipation, and patience. And, he didn't fumble. He did have a drop, but hey, it was raining.

AJ Klein is a straight up thug. In the best way possible.

I think the humor has less to do with Matekevich, and more to do with Ed Sheeran lasting more than three minutes at a Barry's Bootcamp.

Barry's Bootcamp is a chain of gyms that specialize in some pretty hardcore training. They have online subscriptions, as well. I actually spent a good chunk of the pandemic slowdown here in LA lighting their online training sessions with their trainers, and these guys are frikkin' animals, and their sessions are crazy intense. So, the joke is that Matekevich is a bulked up version of Ed Sheeran.

There always seems to be a significant Buffalo presence in the stands-- if not by numbers, then at least by volume.

Guys, knock it off. Jokes about menstruation are not funny. Period.
