  1. #1) Bengals got screwed by the league, Buffalo had nothing to do with that. I would have been fine with a forfeit or coin flip considering the circumstances #2) There’s a lot of respect on this board for Cinci even before the events of Monday #3) You have very thin skin and come across kind of douchey on an opponents message board
  2. We had some ok ones, we had some absolute clowns. IDK if we had anyone as bad as Patricia and Judge, to your point. I’ve blocked out most of that 17 years of pain the PTSD comes back to easily if I think back. Most of it was Ralph’s (thank you for keeping the team in Buffalo) fault. New ownership changed everything.
  3. You sound like many of us during the drought. “He doesn’t have good coaching, he has no WR’s, it’s the O-line he has no time” Excuse after excuse for a mediocre at best QB. We did it for years. Welcome to QB purgatory. I hope it lasts for decades
  4. I honestly can’t get worked up over the NFL giving KC the 1 seed. Damar is ok. He’s posting IG posts from his hospital bed 5 days after being dead on the field. I can’t blame Cinci fans for being pissed, they got screwed in this whole deal. I have no idea how Buffalo will do. It wouldn’t surprise me with Dean Marlow on the field that we lose before the SB at some point. If we take care of business tomorrow then we’ve got home field until we lose or a neutral field AFC Championship a game. I think I’d rather play in KC. We play very well there.
  5. As a 90% of my life Buffalonian, I agree with you about being part of the Great Lakes region. I have zero issue with the mid-west, the people tend to be salt of the earth. If you ask 1000 people around the country to name a city in the mid west, not one of them is saying Buffalo
  6. I’m not sure what your agenda is but no one considers Buffalo the Mid-West I’d have no problem with it if were true but this is a clown take
  7. Neurologically intact. That’s all that matters. The physical part will heal. Best news possible at this point.
  8. If it is true that he was conscious before they sedated him that is HUGE
  9. Wishing the best possible outcome for Damar Hopefully this country got a shot of perspective although in the worst possible way It’s just a game
  10. THANK GOD YOU ARE BACK. Hey how’d your Dolphins do? We were all worried about you since you disappeared after their epic collapse I was just posting in another thread how we needed some of your flat out laughable takes to lift the mood! Bills by a Billion!
  11. My biggest mistake was not developing a mail order Anti-anxiety business for TBD members. The angst here is incredible, someone should be studying this group. I wish FilthyBeast would come back so we could get some LOL comedy back on the board to balance the emotions. What’s going to happen is we will win tonight, 70% of this board will find something wrong with the win, and then I’m guessing it will take about 10 minutes before someone starts a thread on how we will have a let down against NE and lose the #1 seed. Classic TBD. As for the pundits, why does anyone care? We know this team better than any of them by far. I’d rather they were hyping Cinci, it will make their fall all the more sweeter. Relax. We are in the playoffs. Yes I’d love the #1 seed but that in no way guarantees our presence in the SB. Many of you need to learn how to enjoy the ride because it’s not lasting forever
  12. I think it’s the way defenses play us. We see a lot less single high safety looks than other teams which gives one on one opportunities on the outside. How many times was TB able to isolate Mike Evans on a 1-1? That rarely happens with Diggs and Davis hasn’t consistently made those catches when given the chance. I agree it seems like other coordinators make it easier on their QB. I was a big Dorsey critic early on, I think he has adjusted a good amount and Josh has trailed behind him just a bit but is catching up. Our offense can win in multiple ways now. It’s been a lot of shorter/intermediate/running game recently. That’s ok. The key is to take recognize and take advantage of the deep shots when they present themselves. The more Josh utilizes the short/intermediate game early and often, the quicker those shots will open up as the D adjusts.
  13. I think we have a battle tested, hungry and humble team ready to make their run. Plus, don’t underestimate the benefit of playing in a game without extreme weather. These guys are going to be loose and fast. Pretty simple game plan - Offense : Diggs, Knox, run the ball, play action, NO TURNOVERS Defense: Tackle. That’s it. We are going to bend the entire game and make them work down the field. If we don’t tackle, could get ugly. Burrow gets rid of the ball ridiculously quickly. We aren’t going to stop that, but we can limit the YAC. As for all the pre-game smack talk from Cinci, who cares. I love the fact they have guys running their mouths while our guys just say the right stuff and save it for the field. GO BILLS
  14. Did people really expect Tre to be back to his old form this quickly? All things considered, I think he looks pretty good out there and will slowly get better. I think Frazier/McD recognize his current limitations and will put him in a position to succeed. They saw he got smoked by Hill and was a littte slow to what should have been an interception on Fields. Still, he’s better at 75% than any other CBs we’ve currently got on the roster and I expect he will get better and better.
  15. It's the routes Dorsey calls. A ton of hitches, outs, deep crossers and few screens. Thrown in a bit of poor ball placement by Josh and there goes your YAC. I couldn't care less about this stat especially if it's made up for in air yards and passes that end in the EZ
  16. I’m a doc so take this for what it’s worth Here’s what concerns me most - Tua is getting concussed with progressively weaker shots to the head. The first “back injury” was a significant whack where get got up with legs of spaghetti. The entire viewing audience knew he was concussed but no one did a thing. Days later, he falls backward and takes a mild-moderate head bounce of the turf. This nearly turned him into a vegetable on the field. OH NOW WE’VE GOT A PROBLEM! This hit was relatively minor. It wasn’t a hard tackle, his ass and back hit first then the back of his head hit the turf. We see this type of tackle all the time. Because of his previous concussions, even a minor hit like that caused symptoms. I don’t believe for a second Tua didn’t know his egg was scrambled again. That’s three concussions in a matter of months, unless you are a FinHeaven idiot and want to call it 2. Doesn’t matter either way. Soon, Tua is going to get concussed without his head hitting the turf. Normal tackles are going to scramble his brain and THAT is the risk. He needs to be shut down for the rest of the year, given the off season to heal and re-evaluate his life, and then decide if he wasn’t to continue playing.
  17. I hate playing division teams in the playoffs. They know each other too well. The one exception was the Pats* last year and the perfect game. One of the best games I’ve ever watched and the karma of absolutely destroying The Hoodie and his ilk was poetic.
  18. I’ve read that if Jets lose to Seattle and we beat the Pats* then the Fish are in. If that’s true, it’s a very plausible scenario. As for Miami, they’ve got 3 elite guys in Hill, Waddle, and Armstead. They’ve got a very good DT in Wilkins even though he’s a douche, and a solid DE in Phillips. That’s it. Their offense has been figured out. Cover deep, clog the middle and don’t let Hill/Waddle take over. Force Tua off his first read by pressure or taking it away. That’s it. Their D is trash, DBs over-rated, LBs are meh.
  19. Umm, ahh, we did win the AFC East. Must have missed the Bears game. Now if you mean the #1 seed, I agree.
  20. Wow, GB just giving it to them. Pathetic
  21. The safety totally whiffed on the tackle too. What a horrible defensive play
  22. Horrible angle by the DB on that play. Holy crap that was Hamlin-esque
  23. He had the RB wide open in the middle. No way he could miss him he was right in front of him. Weird play
  24. McD cannot stick to what works. Love the deep shots on third and short
  25. According to the pool report from the ref, Stevenson was never wrapped up and controlled on the initial stop and that’s why they didn’t blow the whistle. Debatable, but if you watch they play again it does have some merit. Stevenson blasts into the pile, gets stopped, then kind of jump backs and tries to advance again before getting buried and stripped.
