You take someone that coud help our near league worst 31 ranked rushing Defense. That is our biggest need IMO. Followed shortly by QB. Not going to win many games giving up 30-40 pts a game.

I hope we take a QB high as well. Let Tavares Jackon, Kolb, and "draft pick" battle it out in training camp and pre season. Whoever is the best out of the 3 play them, the 2nd best is back-up. Simple as that.

I think pocket presence and the ability to make quick decisions are extremely important...especially if your offensive line is sub-par. Obviously any QB drafted in the first few rounds has the ability to throw the deep ball, but what seperates the best from the "pure athletes" is decision making.

I think I can count how many times the team blitzed in the first half of the season on one hand.

Cards had by far the worst O line in the entire NFL. I've seen better lines in College. If kolb gets the amount of time Fitz has to throw the ball he will be far more successful. Enough to take us to the playoffs, I don't think so....He is not a long term solution at QB. But he is head and shoulders better than Fitz when given enough time. I still see us finishing 6-10 though...=/

Did you listen to that phone call and the 3 day rule, it seemed no team is able to sign there players. They are nearly all going to test FA to see how much money they can get. And judging by a few of these contracts already, players are getting OVERPAID.

This is the most awesome conversation ever. Shows you how these types of conversations go and better yet Buddy knows how important it is to fix our QB problem! I think we take 2 QBS in this draft and maybe sign a FA WR or LB.

Boldin has some of the best hands in the entire NFL, such a solid physical WR as well. 49ers and Seahawks next year as well I think.

I agree with this as well. Losman and Edwards were so bad that it literally made me sick to watch them...I have never seen such bad QB play in my life, except when watching those two play.

I think it plays out very similar to this as well, best mock so far.

Me and my wife are both 25 and we couldn't care less than to watch that horrible half time show. Is why I took a nice nap during it. I know talent when I see it, and that certainly isn't it.

Sabres have a lot of bright prospects and this years NHL draft is as deep as it has been in 10 years. I hope we sell house at trade deadline and come back next year firing! Armia/Girgs/Grigs along with the current team will be so much better.
