  1. This would be absolutely incredible, would love it!! Bring people downtown to the waterfront and city! Would enhance Pegulas waterfront enhancement project.
  2. Here is my reasoning. Pick 9 this year which we traded netted Anthony Barr (LB). Pick 19 this year (About where we should finished) netted Ja-Wawn James (OT). Would you rather have these two guys or Sammy Watkins. It's a pretty easy decision for me, I'd rather have Sammy 10 times out of 10. In fact the OT we got in the 2nd round I prefer over James.
  3. QB is the only position that matters. Get a TOP 10 QB and everything else falls into place and are secondary pieces.
  4. Meh. 14 years and no playoffs. I'll believe the Bills are good and making good moves when you know they actually prove it and get good. Until then I will agree with everything bad said about this team.
  5. I said the same thing about Kiko last year, boy was I ever wrong.
  6. I don't think he will last until the 5th, going to have to use a 4th on him.
  7. Glenn, Woods and now Cyrus at RT. Beast!!
  8. Can't believe the reaction to this trade. I thought people would be ecstatic we got our 1st franchise WR in years. Julio Jones, AJ Green, Calvin Johnson, Brandon Marshall, Dez Bryant, Sammy Watkins. Yep, this guy is in that territory. LOVE this trade.
  9. I really think our strategy in this draft is to take one of Matthews/Evans if they fall to us. The Bills need a tall/big physical WR/TE that can act as a safety blanket for EJ in the red zone. Eric Ebron hits 2 birds with one stone. We have Stevie and Woods for short/intermediate routes. Goodwin to stretch the field. Then we would have Ebron to go up for the jump balls in the red zone along as set up matchup problems for opposing defenses. Of course another huge need is getting a solid Guard to help protect EJ and give him more time to scan the field but this draft is deep at Tackle and WR. But we cannot get the skills at the TE position that Ebron possessses if we pass on him, no one else has the skill set he has in this draft. That is why trading back to 14-16 if Ebron is still there and picking up another 2nd rounder would be the ideal scenario. Thoughts? https://www.profootb...eds-afc-east-2/
  10. Agreed this is how the NHL draft works and it definitely is better than happening in one location every year. It gives the opportunity for fans around the country to be part of this amazing experience in the sport they love.
  11. Going to the Warehouse near McKinley Mall with the family. Going to be awesome!!
  12. 1. Johnny Manziel- Cleveland Browns 2. Jadeveon Clowney- Houston Texans 3. Blake Bortles- Minnesota Vikings 4. Khalil Mack- Jacksonville Jaguars 5. Mike Evans- Buffalo Bills
  13. I'd give up a 3rd for him, that's about it.
  14. Also what if that player you invest all those assets to get ends up getting hurt for the majority of the season or has continuous injury problems? I loved what we did last year with our 1st 3 rounds. EJ/Woods/Kiko/Goodwin. If anything we should be trading back to get more studs instead of just one. This draft is very deep and we are far away from one player to complete this team into a playoff contender. We need all the good players we can get.
  15. Bills will stay at pick 9 and draft either Evans, Ebron, Matthews, or Lewan. BOOK IT!
  16. Agreed. And since OT/WR are the deepest in this draft take one of each of them in the 2nd and 3rd. If Evans falls you run up to the podium though.
  17. I thought we were on Detriot for Thanksgiving and at home on Monday night for GB? Were those just rumors?
  18. OMG!!!!! When was the last time Bills were on MNF game?
  19. Cautiously optimistic. Who is to say that owner has long term intentions of moving the team from Buffalo. Would be nice if they said it would guarentee the future of the team in Buffalo.
  20. Not if you include Toronto which is only an hour drive away and should be included in its market segment because only Buffalo can target that market unless the NFL actually opens a stadium in Canada which I doubt they want to happen. If you include Toronto/Lower Ontario/WNY/Rochester our market segment is actually top 10 maybe higher. Cities within an hour drive of Buffalo. Stats from 2011: Canada: Toronto CMA 5,583,064 Hamilton CMA 721,053 Kitchener CMA 477,160 St. Catharines–Niagara CMA 392,184 US: Erie County, population 950,265 Monroe County, population 735,343 Niagara County, population 219,846 Chautauqua County, population 139,750 Ontario County, population 100,224 Wayne County, population 93,609 Cattaraugus County, population 83,955 Livingston County, population 64,328 Genesee County, population 60,370 Allegany County, population 49,927 Orleans County, population 44,171 Wyoming County, population 43,424 Canada: 7.1 million people US: 2.6 million people Our true market segmant is roughly around 10 milion people. Maybe moving the stadium to the City of Buffalo and or Niagara Falls would help grab the interest of those in nearby Canada? In the long run a successful team in itself will gather the needed fans from over the border to become Bills fans. 14 years without playoffs is certainly not helping.
  21. Sabres are not Elite. Reread my post. The Sabres will be getting ELITE prospects in the next two drafts. They will be a powerhouse in 3-5 years. The Bills are always in limbo. To good for a top pick/to bad for the playoffs. Rebuild>Retool Also the Sabres are guarenteed a top 2 pick this year, and possibly the first overall pick. Next year we have 3 1st rounders in the deepest draft in a decade. Isles/Sabres pick are both likely top 5-10 picks. We also have the 2nd best prospect pool in the NHL currently. Pegula has renovated the entire arena and is building another building that will house 2 ice rinks/hotel across the street. Here are some stats to back up my post. No.1 Overall picks at forward over the last twenty years have averaged .94 pts per game. Of the 14 forwards draft No. 1. 4 have averaged a pt a game or better (Kovie, Ovie, Sid and Stamkos). Another another 3 (Kane, Thornton and Tavares) are at .9 or better. Only Yakupov and Stefan averaged less then .75 pts per game. Bottomline, you get an elite scoring forward if you draft No. 1 No. 2 overall picks at forward aren't far behind, but there is a drop off. These 13 forwards average .8 pts per game with only Malkin and Spezza averaging a pt per game or better. Heatley and Eric Staal average .9 pts per game or better. All 13 forwards drafted in the last 20 years in the 2nd slot are currently in the NHL. http://www.hockeysfuture.com/team-rankings/
  22. The Sabres future is actually brighter now than ever in history. We are finally rebuilding and not just retooling. We will soon have ELITE players on this team for the first time since Hasek and the French Connection. The Bills on the other hand are at the worst point in the history of its franchise IMO.
  23. Love seeing the Renos! But this is just a temporary solution to a bigger problem. BTW would you guys like to see a new stadium in OP or in the city of Buffalo or some other location in the long run?

  25. Passed away peacefully in his home with his wife and daughters by his side. R.I.P.
