Well they obviously force the 50% thing but why? Why not just get the best you can whether it be woman a man or something in between.

I would like to add Our Lady Peace and Yellowcard. Yes I know Yellowcard is pop punk but if you listen to them the songs are well written. Vocals are strong and they have one of the best drummers I've ever seen. They also manage to work in the violin without overdoing it. May have seen them 5 or 6 times and never disappoint. Also Anti Flag is always solid. Terror State is one of my favorite cds to listen to.

Really like the show but have always had a problem with how they select the chefs to compete. I've heard the the number bandied about that only 15% of chefs employed are women. If this is true how come half the contestants on the show are women? Seems like the competition could be even better if they got more dudes on there. I mean there is a bigger talent pool with the guys.

I think there is a big difference between music that you enjoy listening to and music that is technically superior. I used to have this argument with my brother and the Beatles. No way I'm ever going to say they were overrated but I just don't want to listen to them any more(used to a lot as a kid). Doesn't mean I think they suck. Just means they don't do it for me emotionally I guess.

I think Ruff would go into a better situation with Dallas. Some pretty good young talent. I think Nill is going to be a great GM. He has a fine resume being from the Wings. He was responsible for getting so much value from lower draft choices. Pavel D drafted 171st. Vancouver is a aging and bit battered. Sedin sisters are getting up there and guys like Kelsler, Bieska are often injured. Also I think the gm isn't that great.

I really don't like super hero movies. I think they are tired out. I enjoyed the first Iron Man. Not that I hate any of the Batmans, Spiderman's etc just that they are all the same to me. Boring and I think that they may be semi homoerotic like one of the other posters mentioned here about Top Gun. Also, I've posted a few times about Avatar. Hackneyed script with laughably cliched characters. Bad movie that was good technically I suppose if your into that kind of thing.
