Your so right. We spent the last few months house hunting and with no exaggeration I would say 80% of the shoppers were Asian. My wife's aunt sold her duplex in Burlingame and the agent said exactly what you are saying. Chinese are buying up everything including duplex's. Thanks B.Clinton, Hud and various community organizers for strong arming banks. Using the tried and true racism card and redlining. Now no one out here can afford houses except foreigners.

That made me laugh. Pretty much any joke involving midgets is high percentage. Ive always liked both the Indians and the Redskins logos. Never considered them negative just kind of cool.

What is up with them? I remember going to see them fairly often when I lived in the area and the team and arena had energy. Now it seems like, on TV anyway, that it is the deadest team and place in the league. What a shame because I've liked and pulled for them ever since I first saw Perrault play there live. They desperately need some jolt of excitement to the oraganization. As skilled as Vanek is he just doesn't do it for me. I don't know what the solution is.

I was a fan of the shortened season last year due to the lockout. If we could just extend the time of that season a month with the same amount of games it would be great!

I agree totally. Visuals were absolutely stunning. You would think given the plot it would be slow. But not the case, never a lull. I thought the movie was adequately acted by Clooney and Bullock. Neither were terribly inspiring but not bad either. The real star of the show was the visuals. Given my disdain for movies that feature that (ie Avatar) I surprise myself by now much I liked this flick. But the realism and special effects totally immersed me in the story. In a way it reminded me of the original Alien. Atmospherically spot on to suck you in. Go see it! Like SameOld says it is a must to see it at the Imax 3D. Worth the extra cash.

He's only 19! Drafted last year. 6th goal in two games. Helps he's playing with Thornton but on this goal it was a killer pass from Demers that sprung him.

Good post. Despite the loss last night I saw some things I liked. Spiller being Spiller while hobbled. Defense is active. Unpredictable. Love the way Darius, Mario and Kyle Williams, and Alonso are playing. We are not a good defense now but we sure as hell aren't far off. It's nice to see our former #1s and high priced FA's rejuvenated. But we have lots of holes. A rookie QB that I like but I'm getting scared that he has accuracy issues. If that can be corrected were good at qb. Also we are in dire need of a veteran qb on the roster. Not just because of EJ's injury, just because I think he needs that stabilizing kind of influence. I also think that our play calling is way to conservative. They aren't giving EJ or Tuel for that matter a chance to succeed by putting them in a 2nd and long all the time. They ran the same running play on every first down last night. Pretty much just wasting a down putting our offense in a predictable situation

That game was way to close to the old Bills for me. In fact, when the game unfolded the way it did, it felt like a comfortable old shoe. Wouldn't have thought there was any changes during the off season.I think the test that a team may have turned the corner is if they can win a games like this on the road. They kind of crumbled vs the Jets lets see what happens tonight. If they look good I'll be encouraged.

Still my favorite show. Surprised there is no thread yet. I like the Kings Ice Crew girls. The snowplow guy and his wife(which may be the cutest woman ever on a reality show) are my early favorites to win it. I like the Oklahoma guys. They Afghan guys may get annoying real quick. I can't believe the ER doctor couple read the clue wrong! Attention to detail is a must for them isn't it?

I would approve almost any trade. This one as well. That said, If the person you are proposing the trade accepts, lock it in asap before he sobers up or comes down off the meds.

I wouldn't do it. You would be giving up way to much upside in Bernard. Moreno, Law firm and probably Vick will be forgotten by the second half of the season.

If it makes a difference the rest of Canada hates Toronto as well. Perceived to have a superior type arrogance. I loved going to Uncle Sam's and I just went there because of the women and the sound system. Never caused any trouble myself but my buddy I was with once threw up right on the table. I think that may be kind of a Canadian thing.

My favorite Bills coach ever Chuck Knox took over the Bills when they only had 3 wins. The next season they had only 5 wins. Next year 7 and the year after 11 wins and the playoffs. Things take time (even with a great coach!) especially with a culture of loserdom like the Bills have had the last 15 years. So we either have faith in the new management or we don't. Do we clean house again after one crap game against one of the toughest D's around with arguably the best D minded coach in the league? Or do we show just a touch of patience and let these guys get used to the NFL? What the hell? This is going to take some time and effort and there is going to be more ****ty games ahead until we get better.

Late October, early November may be very stressful for me and my wife. We have the tee shirt contract locally for A's World Series victory shirts. If the series goes 7 games the last game is on Thursday Oct 31. When the game ends we start printing non stop for 14 hours give or take well into Friday. Thing is we are moving the next day November 2. I guess I will be heavy into the 5 hour energy shots and hope my heart doesn't explode. Best case scenario for me is the A's take care of business in 4. That would be nice for me physically.

That was the worst thing out of that mess. I used to like Kessel now I just think he fights like a little girl.Well maybe what is worse than that is I drafted Clarkson on my fantasy team last night. Now he's going to get a 10 suspension.
