I am happy for both of these guys (although I wish they were both on the Bills). Both of these guys also had a lot of critics on this board.

Jalen Ramsey's Game Clinching "Interception"

To paraphrase Dustin Hoffman in Rain Man: "This was definitely pass interference. Definitely." -

I thought for sure that the refs were going to give possession to the Patriots. -
Dennison has turned out to be this year's guy whom everyone blames. Every year, we have one or more of these guys that it is popular to blame. I will say this though: Isn't the style of offense that Dennison implemented exactly what McD wanted? Another question is, of all of the guys that the McD decided to retain/not retain, why didn't he retain Kromer?!? The offensive line under Kromer was outstanding and he already was under contract for multiple years and would have had to stay if McD decided to keep him.

Romo is fantastic. I feel the same way I used to feel listening to Tim McCarver do baseball games. I often seemed to learn something and enjoy their insight.

Yannick Ngakoue accuses Incognito of racial slurs

The show is a guilty pleasure of mine. It does not surprise me to read this about Masterson though. -

I would love to know which Big Brother decides what is "correct"? I am not picking on you and have not bothered to look at the history of your posts to try to find out why you have posted this. I happen to be an Ivy League grad. I went to one of the most liberal universities in the country and graduated an admirer of Milton Friedman. As always - and as I do here much to the chagrin of some - I will continue to voice my views even if they are contrary to the "conventional" or board's "wisdom" on any particular subject. I would hope we all (regardless of which school one may have attended) would feel free to express our views rather than be lemmings and adhere to what the people who are the loudest or post more frequently may prefer. Having said that, I had to take a break from this board for a period of time. Just my two cents. -

For those of you who do not know or do not remember, Incognito had the support of the entire Dolphins locker room . . . except for one guy. Ask Mike Pouncey whether he thinks Incognito is a racist. Ask any of his Bills' teammates. Let's not assume one way or another just because one guy goes on twitter after a game and makes an accusation. -
Maybe I am deaf, but it seemed to me (watching on TV) that it was pretty much the normal amount of crowd noise that one would expect for home and visiting fans. I have been to games in Miami when there were times when it sounded like a Bills home game. Today, when the Jags had the ball, I did not hear fans trying to create disruptive noise.

There seemed to be a marked contrast between the percentage of Bills fans in the photos of the parking lot before the game and what it looked like on TV. At least on TV, it certainly looked like an overwhelming amount of Jags fans in the stadium (as opposed to the parking lot scenes). I could be wrong, but that it what it seemed like on TV based on crowd shots and the cheers etc. If you were there, what percentage of the people in the stadium do you think were Bills fans?

We got more breaks than I can recall a Buffalo team (Bills or Sabres) getting in some time. We cannot rely on that luck going forward. We still have a lot of work to do. The draft and off season will tell us a lot.

Heading into 2017? Time machine?

Caveat: I wish we won the game. Yet, one of the silver linings is that this game illustrated that we still have a long way to go. It was fun to watch and be in the playoffs, but the regular season metrics showed we have a long way to go. This game showed that getting to the playoffs - especially the way we did - should not fool anyone into thinking that we are there or anywhere close right now. The "process" has a long way to go. l hope we can get there quickly. We still have a lot of holes to fill - especially given that we have players in key positions with expiring contracts. This draft and the off season are going to be crucial.

Wildcard Weekend: Bills at Jax - 2nd Half Thread

This does seem to happen quite a bit. In one of the games yesterday, a WR defended a ball nicely and I remarked to a friend of mine that our WRs don't do that as they should. -

Bad officiating. Bad offense. Untimely defensive breakdowns (Bortle's runs primarily) Bad coaching. It was nice to make the playoffs. It was exciting. it was fun while it lasted. Nevertheless, let's not forget how we got in and that the metrics showed that the team still has a long way to go. This game illustrated all of that. I hope we get there . . . soon. -

I didn't say it was all Zay. Yet, don't blame his inability to catch the ball on the guy throwing the ball when it goes through his hands. It was only the biggest play of the year. Sadly, he is not living up to his draft hype. Let's hope he can show us what he can be on this next drive or next season. -

How could Zay Jones be such a prolific pass receiver in college . . . and not even average in the NFL. -

Thankfully no special teams penalty there.
